Nestled in a cute little courtyard, right off of 101, you'll find the cutest little walk up boba spot! Oddcha offers a variety of drink flavors & add-on toppings to customize your drink to your liking. On this occasion, I opted for the Mango Tango -- a delicious drink inspired by one of my favorite desserts, Mango Sticky Rice. The drink was so yummy with actual rice and mango chunks, I wish I would have ordered two of them! I would definitely recommend this spot if you need a quick pit stop or if you are visiting the area.

Oddcha is a cute little spot for a sweet treat in San Rafael! I got an Oddcha matcha, it hit the spot. I got it less sweet and it worked out for me. The matcha smoothie was slightly sweet which paired well with the sweeter brûlée cream and Oreos! You can order off of a screen they have right outside their main window. It does seem like you can also order with someone at the window if needed. Overall, if I'm ever in the area and I'm craving a sweet treat, I wouldn't mind coming back to oddcha!! I love their variety of drink options and my first drink from them was very promising.

Solid matcha spot for the corte madera area! The matcha latte was made with lavender syrup by my request and it didn't disappoint. They use high quality ceremonial grade matcha here.

High Quality Bubble Tea Drinks [San Rafael CA] This boba tea shop is a casual walk-up window located in San Rafael. We were not familiar with the area but it was a bit confusing at first trying to locate the place because there was nowhere to park close by. We used the parking lot of a dry cleaning place that was reserved for the businesses nearby - just hoping our car wouldn't get towed. Anyway... The structures here looked like former residential homes converted into businesses. Once we walked up to the shop the front of the building isn't really an entrance for the public but for employees only. The Order and Pick-Up window was actually located on the side of the building. We placed our orders using their kiosk - one Matcha Gold and a Double Strawberry Fruit Tea w/ boba, both were blended. Except for the cheese mousse part I really enjoyed my strawberry drink. Hitting this place up again when we're in the area of San Rafael - less the cheese mousse. Actually, the Oreo Brulée Milk Tea sounds good, I wonder if I can have that in smoothie form. Small boba stand that offers a range of boba drinks. We got the mango coconut with boba, which was very refreshing. You order from a stand outside, and there's no designated parking lot so that makes it a bit difficult.

Just got the creme brulee with oat milk, regular sugar, with mini boba and it was delicious. The burnt topping was chef's kiss, and my husband was sad when the drink was done. My son got the mango supreme, blended, with popping mango jelly. He loved it. It was the perfect summer drink. My husband was a fan of both drinks, and he typically doesn't appreciate boba the way I do. There is a private parking lot underneath the freeway, and a small garden area you can lounge in if you're looking to enjoy your drink before heading off to your next excursion.

I was happy to find this in the middle of my day trip on a hot day! Totally saved me of dying from thirst - there aren't too many boba shops around this area. I really liked the historic looking architecture of this "French Quarter". Most boba shops back in Bay Area are just looking like soulless chains unlike here. The menu at oddcha had a pretty good range with many interesting options for sure, including things like cotton candy, which seemed to be geared more towards a western audience. I chose the Double Strawberry ($7.25) wanting something super refreshing. It for sure did the job. I also appreciated being able to adjust my sugar level to 0. However, I found the drink to be too icy overall and lacking enough strawberry flavor. Also seemed like it wasn't blended evenly - the strawberry parts were in random patches throughout the cup. Qualitywise, I do think there's some room for improvement here, especially considering the steep prices. This is likely the best you'll find in the area though, and the staff were very friendly!

This is hands down the best boba spot in San Rafael so far! The drinks are always on point and super refreshing. The only downside is finding parking, but honestly, it's worth the hassle every time!

Oddcha is serving up high quality bubble tea drinks made with fresh ingredients. They have an easy mobile ordering service but you can also order with the staff. I got the strawberry milk tea (non caffeinated) and it was super fresh, subtly sweet and such a perfect treat on a hot day. They have so many drink options from your classic black milk teas to Oreo slushie type drinks. I'll be back to try more!

Stopped here on the way and wanted to try it. A bit hidden as you need to walk in more with the window and ordering kiosk deeper on the side. Parked on the street across as we didn't see any parking for Oddcha. Decided on the Dragon Fruit Honey Lavender as it sounded intriguing. There was only one other group who ordered in front so it came out pretty fast. It was a creamy smoothie and I liked that it wasn't too floral. Comes with a honeycomb piece at the top and smaller bits inside. It was very refreshing and I would come again to try other drinks if I'm in the area!

Twilight taro with coconut jelly + kaya toast

Food, drinks, service, ambiance, all a 10/10. I got the twilight taro with coconut jelly (good, but nothing extraordinary) and the kaya jam toast which was SOOOO GOOD I recommend, the jam is yummy and the flakes of maldon salt add just the right touch. The cashier was speedy and helpful. i got the drink and toast relatively quickly. There is no seating area so it's a grab and go place. Plenty of parking in the lot behind the building.

there aren't too many options for boba right now in san rafael, but i think oddcha is the best one! you can order at the pickup window or on the kiosk next to it, and the drinks come out pretty fast. it's located on a multi-lane one way street, and i haven't had too much trouble finding street parking on the right side, although the road can get busy. oddcha has a pretty interesting menu with less traditional drinks. - jasmine milk tea (5/5): this drink had a really great jasmine tea flavor without being too bitter, and it was my favorite milk tea by far! it was light for a milk tea and perfectly sweet at less sugar - peach oolong milk tea (3/5): it definitely had a fruity and artificially peachy taste, but it was a little too fruity for a milk tea. i do like fruity milk teas when they have a good balance between fruity and creamy flavors - this one just didn't work as well for me - wow winter melon (3.5/5): very creamy and light! the winter melon flavor was very subtle, so it tasted like a lightly flavored milk. i still enjoyed the drink, and the butterfly pea added a pretty effect - fancy matcha - strawberry (3.5/5): i enjoyed the strawberry jam with bits of strawberries, which added sweetness. it had a good ratio of jam to drink, but it could've used more matcha flavor. the matcha was very subtle. i liked the creaminess of this drink - it wasn't grainy at all - thai twister (4/5): really good, but i wish the thai tea flavor was a little more prominent. it surprisingly wasn't too sweet, which was great, since these types of drinks tend to be sweeter. i liked the cream on the side and oreo bits, which added a good texture to the drink - mother of dragon (3.5/5): the mango and dragon fruit bits were tasty, but i couldn't really taste the mango in the drink. i thought it was pretty sweet at less sugar but also a little too sour at the same time, kind of like a tart lemonade - marin refresher (4/5): very refreshing, similar to a passion fruit tea without the tea. i loved the crunchy passion fruit seeds in it. it wasn't too sweet at less sugar, although some sips were a little watery. the crystal boba paired well with this drink! oddcha offers other interesting topping options, like popping blueberry, dragon fruit, mango, and strawberry boba. i always get the regular boba though, which is good and chewy, although it leans on the harder end. oddcha is my favorite boba shop in the marin area. the drinks are solid and consistent, and the menu has some unique options. i would definitely recommend stopping by for your boba fix!

This is a hidden gem, I was driving by sign that said Boba so I had to try it out.. Customer service = amazing they were very friendly Bubba drink= too good to only get one. They have a large selection of different drinks that I haven't seen before a lot of creative ideas. I will definitely be back to try more. read more

Decided to try Oddcha again after a bad experience at Teaspoon in Corte Madera. It's one thing to have a drink that's too syrupy and another to get a drink with syrup that has turned bad. I have since been back to Oddcha twice, chose regular sweetness, regular ice, and the drink was perfect. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good reason why Oddcha has 4.8 stars and Teaspoon has 4.4. read more

This is my new fav boba place. My custom drink Winter Melon Tea wz salted cheese n aloe vera, less sweet. Ohhh boy!! It tastes exactly like what I need. Love Iove love their seasonal special Mango Tango. It's blended mango with coconut milk and WARM STICKY RICE. It's like a mango sticky rice dessert as a refreshing drink. It's not overly sweet, which I love. What a treat! I hope everyone gets this because it's so good and maybe they'll always have it available if it's super popular? When this isn't available I usually get their Mango Supreme with no sugar and with boba-- so good! read more

Best and most creative Boba shop for miles around! I love this place because their ingredients are fresh, and the drinks are handmade from real fruit purée, milk, and freshly brewed tea - no powders or fake fruit substances. So many unique options and the "design your own" is fantastic! I drive down here from Petaluma to get my fix! The owner is so friendly and fun to hang out with, and truly loves making tea for people. Finally a solid boba spot in Marin. My partner and I got the peach oolong tea and the strawberry milk bar (with added salted cheese foam). Peach oolong tea: Had a very pleasant, light flavor. I appreciate how you can actually taste the tea flavor, whereas other shops, you can only really taste the milk. Strawberry milk bar: Get this drink. It's so good, it reminds me of a very smooth strawberry ice cream milkshake. The cheese foam is really nice and adds a subtle saltiness to it. Definitely give them a try. read more

Edit: Whoa, I had another sip of the creme brulee drink (it's small but packs a punch), and wow it's like drinking a creme brulee. This place is fantastic. By far the best boba place in Marin, and better than most I've had on the peninsula or in the city. My wife got a creme brulee drink with mini boba, super good, and the mini boba were very fun. My kid's coco (coconut) drink was also very good, and my blended matcha smoothie was great. Will be back soon! read more

Decided to give this new place a try and I'll definitely be back! I decided to try the brown sugar milk tea with the pearls and it was pretty good. The gentleman that was working there was very friendly and helpful! Now I want to try some of the other drinks they have! Also, I dig the container the drinks come in, I love the stopper on the top! Hey Marin people, I'm weighing in once again on our asian options here in the whitest part of the bay and giving five stars up to Oddcha (which I originally thought was Oddoha due to the hipster font on the sight). Alright, so the location is suboptimal for our car-dependent suburb, with the parking entrance directly under the freeway off 3rd Ave. But hear me out because it's worth it! The business operates out of a window in a cute "house" in the French Quarter. There's a kiosk with a stool where you can order, you can talk to the person in the window to order, or you can scan the QR code or order online. Orders are ready very quickly. The person in front of me got the Mother of Dragon and Twilight Taro and they were gorgeous looking. I got the house milk tea (regular sugar, less ice, boba) because I gotta go straight to the original thing to make a good comparison. The boba is perfect sweetness and chewy consistency. The milk tea itself has a great flavor and nice caffeine kick. I also got the matcha latte with oat milk for my low-sugar spouse and he said it was delicious and would definitely get it again. They offer so many different add-ins just like the best bubble tea places in the south bay. And the person making the beverages was super friendly and nice. All to say, this place is worth the special effort to get there. Don't bother with the stale, nearly-crunchy or deflated half-flat boba from other nearby bubble tea places. I can't believe it took me so long to try this place out (my excuse is I have a toddler and only go to playgrounds now in my free time) but now that I have, it's the only boba place I'll be hitting up in the future. read more

Cute little spot...its just a window that you walk up to, order at a kiosk, and try then take the drink to go. I got the dragonfruit lavendar (i think) smoothie and added boba (extra 80¢). It wasnt fruity at all...it actually tasted almost like a taro milk tea. Fortunately, i LOVE taro milk tea so i really enjoyed it!! It was topped with "honey comb" which ended up being different than i expected. It was crunchy and tasted like a dehydrated roasted marshmellow. Again, it was good, but not what i expected. I'd still order it again tho! My friend really enjoyed her creme brulee smoothie. Thats probably next on my to do list! read more

Fresh tasty boba at this new shop. A little more pricey than others in the area. The location is the downside as the parking lot under the freeway is wonky and rundown. We ordered on the outside kiosk but it would not let us order two drinks and the guy couldn't help. Not sure if we'll be back. read more

This is definitely of the hottest new drinks places in San Rafael! While many just offer tea and boba, Oddcha has crème brûlée and Oreo smoothies, refreshing coconut and dragonfruit blended drinks, as well as the usual matcha, milk, and fruit tea offerings. There's no parking at the front on busy Irwin St., so consider driving to Fourth St. and into the parking lot under the freeway. The order window is on the secluded French Quarter walkway accessible from the parking lot. Looking forward to sampling a bunch of different drinks on this fun menu! read more

This is a very welcome addition to Marin's boba tea spots. Its creative menu and proper boba are something you'd expect to find in S.F. I'm so glad it's here instead. I'll try everything on the menu eventually, but so far the Thai Twister is my favorite--brûlée cream paired with Thai iced tea is perfection and something I've never tasted before. Great selection of tasty flavors. Not overly sugary, even at standard sweetness level. Service is sooo much friendlier than at a nearby competitor. Only downside is the parking. Hopefully they're successful enough to afford a better location. read more

This place is INCREDIBLE. I have been on the search for quality boba teas in Marin and I finally found it. This place is by far better than any other of the popular shops in Marin (ShareTea in San Rafael, Teaspoon in Corte Madera). They have such unique flavors and they absolutely nail every one. I really can't stress enough how much this is THE boba place in Marin. Never had a bad drink here, truly 10/10. I also love that they offer mini boba, I've found not many other places do and it's a personal favorite. Other positives - service is quick and while it's in a little weird of a location, there are plenty of mini parking lots around Irwin Street + the lot behind the French Quarter under the overpass that makes it accessible. 2.5 STARS kuma cafe…read moreis a small cafe serving quick bites and boba, conveniently located in downtown san rafael. even though it's in downtown san rafael, i've never had trouble finding street parking nearby. since you order on a tablet, there's not usually anyone behind the counter until the food comes out. it seems like there's only one person working, so it can sometimes take a bit for things to come out. i usually order online for a quicker pickup, although it's slightly more expensive. there are a few tables inside, but it's really a to-go place. - egg sandwich w/ salad (2.5/5): i love japanese egg sandwiches, so i really wanted to try this! the sandwich had a good kewpie mayo flavor, and it was slightly sweet. i enjoyed the flavor, but the sandwich was too wet and messy to eat. some of the mayo was dripping out of the sides. there were also small bits of tobiko and cabbage. it wasn't a big sandwich for the price, but it did come with a salad that was topped with a good sweet and creamy dressing - spicy tuna sandwich w/ chips (1/5): literally like canned tuna with some spicy seasoning, although it wasn't super spicy. it also had some thick slices of cucumber and red onion. the chips were kind of stale, and they tasted like they were supposed to be ruffles or lays salted chips. this was pretty disappointing, and i'm not sure why it cost that much - poke (2.5/5): pretty standard, and an okay portion for price. they offered all of the basic ingredients and different kinds of fish. my bowl didn't have a lot of fish in it, but they did give me a lot of tamago (sweet egg), which made up for the lack of protein. i ordered the soy house sauce, but it reminded me more of a bright ponzu. honestly, the ingredients didn't really taste the freshest, but i thought it was fine and the best food i tried here - jasmine rose milk tea (1.5/5): strong rose flavor! it was still pretty sweet at 50% sugar, and it got overwhelmingly sweet by the end. i usually finish drinks, even if i don't like them, but it was hard to finish - sando brown sugar milk tea (4/5): my favorite milky drink i tried! it had a pretty good black tea and chocolate malt flavor. i really liked the crunchy texture of the malt topping, although i think it could've used a little less malt and more drink. i thought this was very unique! - lychee dragon fruit (4/5): like a light lemonade! i didn't really taste the lychee. the dragon fruit flavor was subtle, but it was definitely there, especially at the end with all the dragon fruit bits. it came with lychee jelly, which made the drink pretty sweet - fizzy yuzu (4/5): literally a yuzu soda, which was tart and citrusy. it was a little too sour for me at first, but the yuzu flavor was great. i actually really liked the kiwi popping boba, which added some sweetness to the drink and curbed the tartness. the kiwi popping boba did taste like kiwi, and it was so unique! - momo peach iced matcha [seasonal] (1/5): the worst drink i tried... there was so much peach jam that it tasted super sweet, and the jam didn't even have a strong peach flavor. the amount of jam also made the drink extremely goopy, even after mixing, and i couldn't taste the matcha at all. i didn't finish this drink the boba here was inconsistent - sometimes it was soft and chewy, and other times, it was on the hard end. for the drinks that came with a topping, they didn't let me sub out the topping with something else. i would've had to pay for an additional topping in order to change it. overall, i'm not really a big fan of kuma cafe, but there aren't that many options in san rafael. compared to oddcha, i think kuma cafe offers more unique asian flavors, like dragon fruit or yuzu. when i'm working near downtown, i'll still stop by to get my boba fix but will head somewhere else for lunch.
