I've been coming to Odem Theater Pub ever since it opened and have always been satisfied. I can appreciate and private owner who stands up for our civil God given rights. This is a place I will support and is an asset to our city. The movie theaters are well done and always kept clean. The pub has a huge variety of drinks, beer and great quality food. Finally tried Odem Theatre & Pub on May 2, 2021. Bought the tickets online (you'll pay a service charge). We were warmly greeted by the owner and the bartender when we arrived. Great small talk while we ordered food and drink. The theaters are very small. Maybe 4-5 rows in each theatre with 8-10 seats per row. This means the screen is not IMAX size but it is still plenty big. The sound is great. The chef brought our food to our seats. The trays have a lip on them that fits on a bar mounted in front of you so you can easily eat while watching. My wife and I both had burgers. Mine was delicious and the bun was outstanding. My wife said hers needed more seasoning. The fries are good and you get a lot of them. The tap selection is outstanding. This tiny little theatre has about 20 taps! Plus fair prices on popcorn, sodas, and movie candy. I enjoyed it so much I've already bought tickets for next Sunday! read more

Came here twice for movies and drinks during our visit and we really enjoyed ourselves, mostly because of the DOLL of a bartender they have. Sadly I can't remember her name but she was just so polite and kind and personable to everyone there. I'm a bartender myself and she was just too sweet and adorable. My wife, 2 daughters and I saw a movie at Odem Theater today. It was the 12:15 showing. I am very impressed at the nice job done on the inside. It is a bit tight where the bar is, but it really adds to the small theater feel. We ordered the chicken sandwich, a bacon cheese burger and a pizza. All 3 meals we delicious and reasonable price wise. I totally recommend enjoying a movie, beer and meal. I would also advise to arrive early (30 -45 mimutes) so your meal will be delivered before the movie begins. The trays are very creative and handy. We all had a wonderful time! Just make sure to check your recipe. Overcharged me. Ordered 2 medium pizzas and was charged for larges. And make sure you leave a tip! If you don't they fill in the max allowed. Was fun but very expressive. read more

Unfortunately we have had too many bad experiences here. The staff (excluding the owner) has consistently been rude but our experience last night was the last straw. The bartender, Evan, verbally accosted my fiancé because he thought he was trying to go in without a ticket after leaving the movie to go to the firepit due to a headache. My fiancé left in the middle of the 3 hour movie and came back for the last hour and Evan yelled at him before even asking to see his ticket (of which I had both in my pocket complete unaware and enjoying John Wick 4) saying he was trying to go in without a ticket. He had served us popcorn and beer on the way into the movie and was saying he had never seen my fiancé before. He continued to get more irate and threatened to call the police. Evan threw a glass at the wall and it shattered so my fiancé just went back and got to me. We finished out the movie thinking he would come check if he still was so convinced. We left the movie and we got a short 'sorry about that guys' from Evan but we will not be returning. He had been short with us since we arrived, and I completely understand places being understaffed and overworked post covid but he was just being rude for no reason and then got violent and verbally aggressive towards my fiancé. read more

I feel this place should not even get a star at all... Went to watch Avatar last week and I had 2 drinks while watching the Movie. When I ordered my first drink, I gave a decent tip, however I ordered my second drink and the dark haired server behind the bar stated " wow no tip" and "your generous" I looked at him and said.. "Am I supposed to tip every time"?? What if I can only afford to go out once in while due to finances? I am supposed to always give a tip for a drink? I never ate and I was very polite.. I don't get it?? I won't go back and cannot believe someone could be so rude! I wish I could take back the $2 tip I gave him for the first drink.... read more

We have been 5 times so far. Each time we have pre-purchased our tickets online. It is a small establishment that chooses select movies, one can't expect to show up 10 minutes before to get the seat they want. Lots of great drink choices including kombucha on tap. Popcorn with real butter yum. We have had the garden burger, pizza, fries and fried mushrooms. All have been delicious and come out quickly. I imagine the kitchen is not huge and the staff crew isn't gigantic so we have been pleasantly surprised. Hope to return again soon. read more

The atmosphere here kills everything. We've been there a few times, tried to give it multiple chances, but the owner is SO condescending to customers. Going in there, you always get the impression that THEY are doing you this big favor letting you in and that you're a burden. Then, you get in and the screens are tiny. This is one of my husband and I's favorite places. Love this little theater and it's atmosphere. Reading some of these negative reviews is really upsetting. Come on people! It's a pub not fine dining. Of course the halls will have left over food trays in them when the movies let out. Of course you want to pick your seats ahead.. no duh that if you sit against the wall people will have to move their trays to let you out. If you plan on getting up a lot, don't sit in the seats against the wall. Plan your visit. Reserve the seats you want. If you come and don't get to pick your exact seat than that's your problem. Not odem's. As far as their menu goes.. I love it!! Great food! House made. Fresh fries. It's so good we just go there for dinner sometimes. Also, love their patio! And the fire in the winter is so hot and cozy! Ted, Evan (the owners), Donna (bartender) and Ester (the chef) are fantastic!! They also get some of the best movies!! I love that we have the opportunity to see such great films and in such a great establishment! I know they work hard to get their movies and it has paid off! Really great films. Even the ones I have never heard of we have watched and they are so good! Without this theater I would be missing out on so many great films! I would give this 10 stars if I could!!! read more

Just wanted to let anyone looking forward to trying the new ODEM THEATRE & PUB!!! DON'T DON'T DON'T waste your time! My spouse and I decided to try the theatre last night Jan 6, 2019. It was supposed to be our date night after the hectic holidays and we were looking so forward to dinner & a movie! Our movie was to start at 8:40pm, so we showed up 25 min early so we could order dinner and get settled before the movie started. We only budget for 1 date night a month and since i had shoulder surgery a month ago, we were beyond excited for a nice evening out! When we got there a man and woman were behind the counter. We asked where to order dinner and they said KITCHEN was CLOSED !!! We were disappointed but just figured we read their website hours wrong! So we ordered popcorn, sodas and continued to the movie area. I took a bite of popcorn which was stale, cold and unpleasant! I took it back to the counter to see if I could get some fresher popcorn! The man up front told me it was fresh and said he made it earlier which I disagreed and asked for a refund! He refused to give me a refund so I walked away calling him an asshole under my breath which he screamed back calling me a bitch!! I have never had a person who is employed to give customer service call me a bitch who just paid over $40 to your business!! I was so filled with rage that I couldn't enjoy the movie! That man then interrupted the movie an 1 1/2 hours into it to give me a refund for the popcorn, a little too late! The movie ended and we couldn't get out of there fast enough! As we were walking out, we noticed that there were dirty dishes lined up along the walls and once we got to lobby it was very dark and that man was sitting in the dark creepily!! The worst date night ever!! I just don't recommend anyone to go here especially WOMEN!!!! read more

If I could give this place a zero star review I absolutely would. My boyfriend and I went to Odem theater tonight in hopes in having a great night. When we showed up I immediately noticed that this place was filthy!! The owners son was immediately rude, I asked him if I could purchase two tickets and he responded with "I just told you there was 3 tickets so yeah". Once we entered the theater we went to find our seats to be OFFICE CHAIRS!! The owners son did not mention this to us when we purchased tickets. We could hear the son and the dad arguing in the hallway from inside the theater. I then went to take a sip a my beer to find that it tasted rotten. After these events we had went up to complain. I asked if I could get another beer and this time the son responded "Everyone else likes it so no". I then confronted him about the office chairs and his unprofessionalism. From that moment on he flipped a switch told us to get the "fuck off his property" and that we were "trespassing and he has REAL customers to serve" (even though I had spent over $60 to watch 15 mins of a movie that was interrupted the whole time). Would of gotten 5 stars if the customer service was better. This younger guy (who says he is the owner/manager) was very rude and lacked on his customer service skills BIG TIME not only with me but also with the customer that came in after us. It's unfortunate because we like to support our local businesses and were excited about visiting this theater. We recommend to buy your tickets online. When you purchase them you select your seats and you don't want to be stuck in the front seats especially the ones by the wall, my family had to give each other neck massages afterwards because it was just way to close. You have to go through their actual website not Fandango. The other people working there were very pleasant, good popcorn. read more

This date night was awesome! Loved this place!! Had dinner and drinks while watching Rocketman. Had the Portobello mushroom sandwich which was better than a burger!! It was excellent! I would suggest sitting on the isle if you think you might need to get up at any point to go to the restroom cuz they provide treys that sit on a bar to eat on and they are in the way if you need to get out. It was ok though we just cleared the treys. Such a cool place! Can't wait to go back!! read more

If I had to compare this place with Regal in Bend then I'd say the Odem Pub wins hands down! Yes, the screens are smaller, the picture quality may not be on par with IMAX BUUT then factor in the bar, the menu and food service, it's the ultimate dinner and a movie place! Family owned and friendly staff make this place the best hole in the wall vintage gem that Downtown Redmond has had in YEARS! I do recommend pre purchasing tickets because I think that's what most people do so if you just show up they may be full! Why spend more money and a less enjoyable experience? For a new place trying to make good first impressions, I think they're off target in Redmond. Rude owner, rude employees, and a half baked attempt at pulling off a theatre pub. GO TO VOLCANIC. The concept of a theater pub is just great! The movies that I've chosen to see have been excellent and I know that most people like the big box office shows, but I was really hoping for more independent movies that don't come to Fandango etc. My guess is that the independents don't bring in the same amount of money, but maybe a few would be good every once and a while. I like the theater, but the owner is definitely arrogant. He berates the other theater in town when ever he can referring to it as "the teenage palace" in his emails. I vote with my wallet, I go to the "teenage palace" when the same movie is playing at both theaters, mainly due to the bigger screen. The plus side is the food and beer at Odem. read more

If I hadn't pre-paid for my tickets, I would have walked out the door at my first interaction with the employee. He was incredibly rude and demeaning during what should have been a simple exchange. While waiting for our movie to start I witnessed this same type of attitude with two other patrons. That being said, I enjoyed the small theatre and the food was delicious. If you have a thick skin I guess it might be worth a go, but I won't be returning. read more
