Took my daughter to see Little Women. The service was good and the theatre is really quaint and cozy. Highly recommend it!!!

Really disappointing. Owners an asshole, and will probly be the death of his own business. Guy takes his own failure to manage out on customers. Comes in a tells us we're "screwing it up for everybody so dont do it again" because we sat in the wrong seats when it was our first time there, and he didnt explain there was assigned seating. Rude, didnt want to explain his own menu, ripped me off on pricing and didnt give me a reciept for it. Bought a 7$ burger and realized he charged me $12. Then comes in after the movies over just to scold us again because we "smell like weed" in a legal state. Spent over $100 here and definitely regret it. read more

Okay, great concept but executed very poorly. The food was not much to rave about. Fish and Chips greasy and pizza was eatable at best. When you enter the establishment no one greats you, you have to figure out what to do and where to go. There's a person taking money for tickets but they won't respond to your questions. There's not host or hostess to seat you in their very limited dinning area. Then if you figure out who will take your order and take your food in the theater be ready for a surprise. If your setting next to the wall everyone with food trays in front of their seats has to pick up their trays, stand up and squish themselves back against the seat barely keeping balance while holding their metal meal tray while you pass to your seat. Then if you have to get out for any reason the whole process is repeated. The place is pretty dirty in the hallways to the theater where left over food and drinks line the tables and are not cleared in a timely manner. You can expect to pay a minimum of 30.00 per person for poor service, marginal food, and confusion. Not a good experience and would not recommend to anyone. read more

I had a very negative experience here. I was looking forward to enjoying dinner and a movie. I got to the theater early so I could order my dinner before the movie. I was told that the kitchen was closed. No place on the website stated that the kitchen was not open after a certain time. Disappointed, I opted for popcorn. The popcorn had obviously been made quite a bit earlier and was cold and nasty. Later as I was on my way to the restroom, I heard the bearded man call a female customer a bitch. Really? I was so excited by the prospect of a new pub theater only to be disappointed by the entire experience. read more

Worst customer service ever experienced and unhygienic food handling. I wouldn't give this establishment 1 star. I have known the owner Ted on a professional level for many years and was along side his building in my own family business as he was building the Odem theatre. There was a positive banter, However he was always the type of person that never let you get a word in and was polite to you as long as you were agreeable, like a self proclaimed dictator.....but none the less My husband and I were very excited to check out the new theatre. Tickets are sold by seat selection which I did online, when we arrived, there were people in our seats whom refused to move, after I reported to the employee at service, nothing was done, so we ended up squished in a corner next to a man crunching ice the entire movie. We had ordered food and rather than the employee trying to come to us and hand us our food, it was lashed down the isle and touched by at least 4 people before reaching us. Mid screening I went to use the restroom and spotted Ted at the bar drinking; A dirty old man with gray hair that seems to have no concern with personal hygiene. I expressed that I was happy to see his establishment finally open and asked if we could speak after the showing. After the showing I spotted him again at the bar drinking and explained to him our experience, he was incredibly defensive and began blaming issues on his employees and even shared private employee information . After spending about $60 on food and drinks and being completely distracted and uncomfortable during the entire film I asked him if he would be willing to allow us to come and see another showing as a curtesy. NOPE! He barks at me and my husband saying "that is not our policy" and continues to give me a woes me story and ultimately ends up blaming us for not forcing the couple ourselves out of our chosen seats. I say to him "Ted as a business owner myself your customers satisfaction should be your first priority and I'm very disappointed in your customer service" he says "get out, you are not welcome back here" he locks the doors behind us. I tried to call the next day to speak with him to clear things up and he yells at me about me just wanting money, and then hangs up on me! WOW! It really has nothing to do with money, it's about customer service! If he treats professional acquaintances and his employees in this manner what care does he have other customers!? read more

Sounds like it could have been a cool place, but the terrible attitude and rude behavior that is immediately expressed makes it so I never recommend anyone to go there. I left- had my food brought to me. (Cook/chef makes the food very well! What a saving grace) read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today and unfortunately we were disappointed. First point of caution is that you Will pay more for a matinee here than you will at a newer nicer theater. We decided to treat ourselves to a beer and lunch as well. The beer was warm, and the hamburgers were cold and just awful and took over 30 mins to arrive. I suppose if you plan to just have popcorn you might have a better experience however there's at least one other review that indicates otherwise. Sorry to say we won't be returning as there are other better small theaters to choose from. read more

A friend and I decided on Tuesday September 15th that we wanted to go see a movie and I had never been to the Odem theater so we decided we would try it out. I pre paid for my tickets for the 7:50 movie online. We got to the theater and the door said "closed" on it and it was locked but we saw people in the lobby. So I called the phone number and said that I paid for tickets for that night. The man (who I assume was the owner) replied that they were closed on Monday and Tuesday this week. What had happened was they took down the movies that were supposed to be shown because they didn't have anyone to work those nights but somehow the website glitched and let me buy the tickets. But the next thing he did was let us inside and offer to play the movie for us and he even had to stay later for us! He even offered us free popcorn or drinks because he felt bad about the website screwing up. Overall he was super nice and the fact that he played the movie for us was over the top! I will definitely be going back there and look forward to it! Great customer service!! read more

This lovingly restored theater is a gem. Seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room, the projection and sound quality of the films are top notch in both screening rooms, and the food is delicious. Well worth the price of admission. read more

Just went for the first time with my girlfriend. Loved it. So excited that this is in Redmond. I love the renovation even the carpet that they had created special to match their logo. Had a Portobello sandwich that was very very good. Service was excellent and I love the trays that the owner made. I come from Portland so loved that this exists. read more

2nd time there for food only, 2 cocktails 1 kombucha and a small popcorn $26.00. No music seams totally dead. Asked guy at counter if I could see the theater and if anything was playing and all we got was a there busy. Could not drink fast enough to stop the pain. Redmond deserves better. My wife and I stopped in to visit the newest addition to the food, beverage and entertainment scene in town. The Odem Theater Pub is a beautifully remodeled / reimagined historic theater in downtown Redmond. The owner and his son spent years making their dream come true and they did a really nice job of it . While I haven't seen a movie there yet I am looking forward to it. They have two small theaters with terraced seating and relatively huge screens. They are running good first run movies and some classics. They opened with a run of The Big Lebowski & Pulp Fiction! In their second week the switched to new first run movies. We run a pub ourselves and wanted to grab a craft beer and a bite on our break. The front lobby is beautiful Art Deco theater with about 20 beer/ cider / kombucha taps obligatory popcorn machine and even a full bar. We checked out the small menu of house made foods and I opted for a personal sized pizza Margherita and my wife had albacore fish and chips and we both enjoyed a Barley Browns Pallet Jack IPA while waiting for food. and chatting with the owner Ted and his son Evan. Legal disclaimer, they're friends of ours. Soon our food came out and it was really good! My pizza had and house made crispy thin crust topped with delicious scratch made tomato sauce , fresh mozzarella , and fresh basil. They did it right! My wife's fish and chips featured lightly battered albacore tuna , crispy shoestring fries and really good house made dill tartar sauce. We'll be back and looking forward to trying more of the menu and enjoying a movie in this unique gem of venue. read more

Hubby and I had been looking forward to attending this theater and saw that a movie we were interested in was playing. After reading some of the reviews here, I was a little concerned, but we had a great time. I suspect some sort of past history between the owner and another reviewer may have influenced their review. The place was clean, the people were friendly and efficient, the food was good and the prices were reasonable. We went in the afternoon with another couple. Ordered some snacks and adult refreshments in the diner-like lobby. The onion rings and fried mushrooms were really good...and plentiful. Just one order would have been enough for both of us. Our friends ordered a pizza which was delivered to them in the theater (I was full, so I didn't try it, but it looked good). The seats were comfortable, there was plenty of room and they provide trays for your food and drinks that hook to a rack in front of your seat. It is a small theater, so I advise ordering tix online and requesting seats at least 3 rows back. When you order your tickets you select your seats. Such a nice afternoon that the 4 of us are doing it again this week! read more
