Since I stay here yearly for our work Christmas Party, I have become fond of this hotel for several reasons. I don't like that the lounge is closed on weekends, but I do like that status members (platinum and above) get a voucher for a free breakfast. That makes this a great deal for me. At around 30-35 per person, otherwise, it may not be a great deal for you (Louie's isn't that far away). Breakfast here is either buffet style or order off of the menu. The buffet has many different options, including the standards. The eggs are good, the potatoes are very good, and the meats are also very good. There is hot sauce available, and service is always friendly and prompt. Best news? The voucher covers gratuity as well! Note: The bar is also great. There is a solid selection of beer and bourbon. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the veggies had a slight crunch and not overcooked and the fingerling potatoes were the perfect add to that dish. But the showstopper was the Fish Chalmette with speckled trout. Phenomenal dish. Perfectly prepared fish with an incredible crawfish cream sauce that made every bite better than the last.
