Loved this place. I keep going back. I've tried the head on fried catfish, fried shrimp, green beans, potato salad and fried wings. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The staff is super nice and professional. My order never takes too long no matter how crowded they are and it's always accurate. I've never even had to ask for sauce. They provide everything you'd need to enjoy your meal from tartar sauce to cocktail sauce. Bathroom is always clean too. I've only ever dined in but I'm definitely a fan.

I visited on a Friday around lunch. The spot was busy and had customers in and out. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of tables to dine in. My food was cooked to order and took about 15 minutes. I went with the 2 whole catfish with fries and red beans on one and fries and pot salad on the other plate. The fries were plentiful. The other sides were in small containers. There was also some type of bread with it. The fish was fried and seasoned to perfection. I would definitely recommend this spot to family and friends.

Food was Fresh and Hot. Service was Great . They bring your Food out to the table where you are. The Ambiance is Casual and Peaceful. We enjoyed it and we will be back .

    Flavorless frozen burger patty

Flavorless frozen burger patty that I had to pull around and wait for. I had high hopes after reading reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. Maybe they do their fried seafood better but this burger is horrible. Do not order the burger!

Foreign tasting fish. That's not catfish being fried in à LA restaurant. To improve, use local fish.

I had no idea. Corks was owned by the same people. One of my friends who works at Coy-Yon's in West Baton Rouge told me that I could still get that potato pretty easily on Government Street. I guess this is basically the same thing as our restaurant in Port Alan instead of barbecue, they specialize in fish and shrimp. I did get shrimp as my protein for the potato and it was delicious Definitely go, give it a shot. The server was very nice and friendly. Parking very simple. Interiors mostly white. They've got some art on the wall, looks like it's done locally. Most mostly of their other restaurant. If I had to complain and be picky, I would say take that Christmas tree down. I always find the tacky when restaurants or businesses leave their Christmas tree up all year. It's never the flex they think it is. But who cares. The food is good.

The atmosphere is small, cozy, and inviting, making it just as good for a casual dinner as it is for a special night out. Our server, Addison, was outstanding--easily one of the best servers I've had in Baton Rouge. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience even better. If you get the chance, don't miss their Restaurant Week menu. They always go above and beyond, and this year was no exception. The quail, stuffed with boudin and served over red beans, was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor. It was one of the standout dishes I've had in quite a while. If you're in Baton Rouge and can't decide where to eat, City Pork on Jefferson is a place you can count on. Great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere keep me coming back.

The food was great (literally everything we ordered), drinks were great, and service was AMAZING. Our waitress was Chelsea. She was so sweet and she served us with such grace and patience. Kudos to whoever is the manager. You can clearly tell there has been a change in management, for the better.

The chicken was cooked perfectly. I hope they keep this on the menu or at least something similar. We went with my friend and her daughter she tried the bourbon street penne which I believe she enjoyed and it was a nice portion! The kids chicken Alfredo was surprisingly good and very well seasoned. The portion was great too my son was full. I also like that they give you the option of getting yogurt and fruit for a side. The service wasn't the best our server was all over the place. Our drinks sat at the bar for a while so I don't know if they ended up being watered down but I didn't really taste any liquor. I will still be back hopefully to try the same things on the menu.

Upon walking into the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by the friendly hostess and seated shortly after. The restaurant was very clean but it's aging with some of the booth seating ripped and torn. The server Mechelle approached the table within 5 - 7 minutes of being seated, introduced herself, and took my drink order which came out quickly. She also brought out a basket of cheddar bay biscuits that were served warm, soft, buttery, and had great cheddar flavor. The biscuits were very good. I could return just for the biscuits. I ordered the Lobster Lover's Duo with two lobster tails, a Maine tail and a Rock tail, both roasted to perfection served with melted butter for dipping, and I choose loaded mashed potatoes and bacon mac and cheese for my two sides. The portion sizes were appropriate and filling. The meal was surprisingly very good and exceeded expectations. The lobster tails were average in size, looked amazing and were perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes had plenty of bacon, green onions, bacon, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. The mac and cheese were not dry but could have used a little more of the cream cheese sauce. Overall, it was a good dining experience. My only complaint would be the server could have been a little more attentive and smiled a little more.
