The dish was presented well and looked appealing, but the taste didn't fully live up to expectations. The rice was overly salty, which distracted from the overall experience. The chicken skewers, however, had a bold Indian-inspired spice blend that was fragrant and flavorful something spice lovers might appreciate, though it may not appeal to everyone. I also tried a side of French fries and falafel. Unfortunately, the fries were excessively salty and difficult to eat. In contrast, the falafel was outstanding crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. It was easily the best item on the table. The café itself had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to sit and unwind. While the ambiance and falafel were definite highlights, the heavy-handed seasoning in the rice and fries took away from the experience. With better control over salt levels, Mr. Cone Shawarma has the potential to be a much more satisfying dining spot.

Nicely filled with paneer and salad and I even got to choose if I want a white wrap or a whole wheat one my husband had the Mr Fluffer with shawarma chicken....he loved it. Nice size and just as yummy. Also, we appreciate the fries being super crispy (I hadn't had crispy fries from other fast food places in forever, but here we got them!!) Long story short: super delicious, very friendly staff, clean and welcoming atmosphere and makes you want to come back again - we definitely will !!!!

The food was very good, the fried green tomatoes were on the heavier side (& what you would expect of a fried item). Biscuits were delicious & affordable! Service was fine. Food didn't take long to come out of the kitchen and server was attentive. Will be back!

The biscuits were very dense and almost hard to swallow. The chicken breast was dry and hard to cut through. The sauce that it came with was just OK, but nothing special. The fries seemed like they just came from the frozen aisle of a grocery store. The salads were very simple and used store-bought salad dressing, which was disappointing, especially for the ranch. I always love, salmon, but I couldn't finish this salmon because the taste was not good and it was much too fishy. I liked the crust on the outside. I also really love mac & cheese, but I also couldn't finish it because it was not good and had an off flavor. The Mississippi mud pie was the best part of the meal besides the brussels sprouts. The ambience inside feels like a hotel restaurant and the service was OK.

I've been to a many of Jamaican restaurants and had the Jerk Chicken out of the drum in Jamaica and in Brooklyn. This a Jerk Drum fashioned after an oil barrel traditionally. I can also cook Jerk Chicken myself. I'm also very familiar with how other Jamaican food dishes should taste and be cooked. Moving on, I found this place a few months a go, but I had a craving for Jerk Chicken and didn't want to go to my go to spot Roland's Jamaican Chicken in Irving. I'm inferring that Jamaican Me Hungry cooks out of their home and offer delivery or pick up. There's no storefront pics. There's a phone number to call to place your orders. I called and I was able to place an order a day in advance. When the day came and it was lunchtime, I didn't get a set time if when my food would be delivered. There's definitely some suspense to planning lunch when you don't exactly when it'll arrive. My food was finally delivered. The lady did call me about 15 minutes before delivery. I ordered the oxtails entre and the Jerk Chicken entre. The oxtails came with steamed cabbage, fried plantains and rice and red beans mixed together. The oxtails were good, it had a good flavor to the. And they were huge. I would get them again. However the rice in both entrees was dry like in a stale way. The jerk chicken entree, I received only had cabbage but no fried plantains which it was supposed to come with. I was disappointed. However this is delivered food in can't take it back. For the price I was bothered that I didn't get this side. The jerk chicken was good, not spicy, but the jerk flavor was good. I would give them another try and hope my rice isn't dry and that I DO get my fried plantains this time. I would say hi e then a try, because the convenience is pretty nice with a nominal delivery fee.
