As an authorized Lenovo service provider, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer support and IT solutions. Whether you need upgrades, repairs, or comprehensive IT services, we ensure a seamless and efficient experience to keep your technology running at its best. Background On Visit: Had a broken lcd screen on one of our lenovo laptops that needed to be fixed. Did a yelp search and this place came up. Did more digging about this shop and sure enough it was a authorized Lenovo service provider. LCD Screen Repair Price: $139.00 (OEM laptop screen) + $100.00 (labor) + tax on screen. If you want a third party screen, it would cost $69.00 +$100 (labor) + tax on laptop screen. Payment Method: They accept credit cards or cash. They don't accept payment over the phone. You'll have to come in to the shop to pay. Location/Parking: Located in a plaza on the NE corner of Artesia and Carmenita Rd.. Ambiance/Decor: Shop is relatively clean and bare bones. They probably do their work in the back of the shop somewhere. Service: Service was great. Steve was friendly, attentive, and thorough in explaining what needed to be done. Experience: Overall, I had a great experience. Steve gave me updates on my laptop through the process. There was one hiccup though. The screen replacement that they ordered was damaged during shipping. He was able to order another screen quickly. It took about 10 days for them to fix the laptop.

I was actually in the store during the interaction described in this review because I was waiting to pick up my repaired computer from Jason. What caught my attention is that I happened to overhear most of the conversation. The discussion was not simply about "AI tools and data security" as described here. The customer was asking questions about bypassing restrictions on a company-managed computer and accessing or transferring files that were being monitored by his employer. Jason clearly stated that Alice Computerworks does not provide services that help customers bypass company security policies. The customer then asked about purchasing a laptop matching his company's model, and Jason spent time looking up specifications and pricing for him. I was waiting for my own computer and observed the interaction for roughly 10-15 minutes. At no point did Jason appear rude, impatient, or dismissive. Ironically, I was at the store because Alice Computerworks had just repaired my computer. The service was fast, professional, and the issue was completely resolved. In my experience, Jason has always been knowledgeable, honest, and willing to help. What I witnessed that day was not a business refusing to help a customer. It was a business choosing not to assist with requests that could conflict with a company's security policies. I respect that decision. Professional service, strong ethics, and not willing to do something questionable just to make a sale. That's exactly the kind of computer shop I want to support. 5 stars for Jason and 5 stars for Alice Computerworks.

Within two minutes, the employee (I believe his name was Josh) redirected me to the owner. The owner wasn't there. No offer to schedule anything, no follow-up, nothing. I asked about laptop pricing and whether they could compete with Amazon. He said yes, they can match prices. Fine. But the entire interaction felt rushed, like he had somewhere better to be. No effort to actually help me understand anything or earn the business. That's the thing. I was ready to spend money. On a consultation, on a laptop, potentially both. But when an employee doesn't own the outcome, it shows. The owner should know that customers willing to pay are walking out the door because the person on the floor doesn't seem to care either way. Left with nothing. Spent nothing. Completely avoidable.

Holy cow, this one tears it!…read more I called to find out about an in-warranty repair for a Thinkpad laptop. The guy I spoke to said that it was company policy to charge an additional $100 to the customer for "diagnostics" despite it being under warranty. He said the warranty was for parts only. At first, I attempted to calmly explain that it was in warranty and it covered parts & labor-- they were more than welcome to charge this fee to Lenovo. He said that it was company policy, and that if I didn't like I could look for another provider on Lenovo's website. I told him I would not only gladly do that, but I'd also go out of my way to make Lenovo aware of this "company policy" in hopes they are no longer an authorized reseller, thus sparing this company from trying to rip off unwitting customers who don't know any better. Warranty service doesn't cost the customer; never has, never should. Stay far away from this company; given their policy and how it was positioned, I wouldn't trust their integrity or honesty in the least. (For the record, the gentleman I spoke to was at least very nice and indicated that while he didn't personally agree with the policy, it was still the company's policy)

Everytime I call, the "department" that handles warranty repairs is unreachable. I called today around 8:30 to see if I could catch the service department before things got busy, but again, couldn't reach them. I spoke to a call center guy at the company and after saying that I needed warranty service, he mentioned that the warranty department charges for services. I was confused since my Lenovo warranty was supposed to cover any service. I wasn't told a price, since I couldn't reach anybody, but if it's $100 as Jon T mentioned, this is unacceptable. I'll be opening up my laptop on my own because if warranty service is like this, it's like not having anything anyway.

Have you ever walked in some place and been asked "Can I help you...?" in a way it was clear the guy meant "Wt-...? Are you lost?" So yeah that's how it starts, I tell the guy I'm just taking a look around, he never leaves the doorway of the backroom to approach, he was strangely AVOIDING providing straight answers to basic questions like "How much would a 5090 build start at?". I love to talk about this stuff I couldn't have been more pleasant and friendly at first, but every response he was like COUNTERING me TRYING to make me go "oh forget it " and walk out or something. For example, I noticed the radiator didn't fill the top section of a completed build in the showroom, and simply asked "Is this AIO 240mm or 280mm?" He said he wasn't sure, I literally said nothing but I did have a surprised look on my face and I kid you not the guy goes "That one's already sold so there's no point in me discussing details about it." I think I ended up asking him straight up if he could even hear what I just asked. (Did I mention he had two wired airpods in the entire time?) Seriously though, this is a developing story because I wasn't there by accident. There was a different store with the exact same name in Anaheim that I made a purchase from a while back. That one wasn't a bad experience actually, so I figured I'd stop by their new location now and have a look. My receipt lists the exact same phone number as listed on their website, and this listing. I'm positive these are the same guys who have just changed their location. TLDR; I shopped with these guys once at their previous location, and I either got insanely lucky that first time, or they got WAY worse. Avoid this one ppl. Scam likely.

For awhile (months) my PC has been losing video while playing games or video chatting. I swapped out parts in and out and same issue was happening. We talked about the issue I was having and provided the servicing cost which I feel was fair (~$100). Gave me a 2-day estimate for servicing. After 2 days the technician gave me a call that my PC is ready to be picked up. At the store he gone over the issue (which is an incorrectly plugged in power supply wire which I completely overlooked). PC is running very smooth. No issue ever since taking my PC in.
