Even the olives were amazing. The marinades on the meat were so good and you can tell the veggies are super fresh. They were also really sweet to the kids and gave them a little treat before we left, which meant a lot. Great food, great people, and you can feel the family atmosphere the second you walk in. Definitely a local gem.

We ordered hummus and dolmades with lemon sauce to start. They offer a cup of soup with entrees. I got the avgolemono and my husband got the lentil. My husband ordered salmon and I ordered the Kokinisto Kotopoulo( chicken stew) Overall, the food was OK, but not outstanding. My husband complained that his salmon was way overcooked, the hummus was pretty bland. The soups were ok. My husband said his lentil soup tasted like lemons as well. He also said that the dolmades tasted like they came out of a can. My chicken stew the chicken was not tender and falling apart. It was kind of tough and chewy. The spices and flavoring were nice though. I almost feel like not posting this review because I don't like to drag on local places. But for the price and the ambience, not sure that this is worth my money in the future.

I just had the most amazing beef steak! The perfectly seared crust and tender inside made for an unforgettable culinary experience.

I was seated facing a wall so I didn't get a good long look at my surroundings but between what I did see and looking at photos posted on Yelp the theme seems to be chickens. Our server was friendly and available to answer any questions as we spent time looking over the menu. I settled on The Hitman, a double patty smashed burger with American cheese, hen sauce, fried mozzarella, Nueske's bacon, with a side of garlic parm fries. It isn't listed on the online menu but there is a note the menu changes frequently so it may not match the day's offering. Let me start by saying that two of the people at my table got salads and were disappointed that there was too much lettuce and too little other stuff. With that out of the way, let me talk about The Hitman, which I loved. What is Nueske bacon? This is a special smoked flavorful bacon made by the Nueske family. Fork & Hen uses thick cut, and there were two slices on my burger. My burger towered so high there was no hope of picking it up, so I attacked it with knife and fork. Being made with Focaccia bread certainly added to the height, but so did a thick block of mozzzrella cheese. The cheese, melted on the inside and crispy on the outside, was substantial. I would be careful biting into a hot block of melted cheese, think pizza mouth. In my photo I broke into one corner to show that is cheese, so much cheese. The burger patty part topped with American cheese was by itself great, like you might find at a home cookout or Smashburgers. Other toppings were there but for me this was meat and a lot of cheese. And as much bread as you want. I loved my surprising good cheeseburger.

Our table ordered a couple of dishes: chicken and waffles, southern fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the hitman. The water tasted like it came straight from the water fountain outside the restaurant. Chicken was overly breaded and salty, and the corn cake was sour. I also don't know how they managed to dry out dark meat. The waffle was semi burnt. The shrimp "fried rice" was soggy, vinegary, almost sushi rice like texture, and shrimp was heavily salted. The hitman smashed burger... the hitman probably killed people with the insane amount of salt on the plate. See the theme? Lighten up on the salt unless you're trying to give your customers clogged arteries. Extremely disappointing considering all the great reviews we saw before going.

The interior was in the same motif, an old school Italian restaurant that's been around for awhile. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Our server came over to our table almost immediately. He was friendly, professional and friendly and explained the menu and his recommendations. Even though the appetizers looked amazing, we opted to just order entrees as they came with a salad and pasta. We ordered 2 Chicken Parm's with a Caeser salad side and their homemade Tagliatelle pasta, Bronzino special and a Pasta (homemade linguine). I was one of the Chicken Parm's. DAMN, it was excellent! Very large portions of chicken and pasta with a tomato sauce that was absolutely one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant! It was thick, tasty and clung to the pasta and Parm. I HATE ordering pasta in a restaurant that isn't drained properly and the plate is a puddle with food sitting in it-and this WAS NOT the case! It was a big ass tasty platter of delicious food. The other plates were as large and delicious! For dessert, I had the Espresso Affogato, again DELICIOUS!!! I WILL be back to try some of the other dishes as, for me, unless they do a really good chicken parm, I won't go on!! Great job by the staff! Our table was constantly bussed, waters refilled and making sure we were satisfied.

We were seated right away, and our server was attentive, almost a little too attentive at times that we felt rushed. The atmosphere was nice, but the restaurant is small, difficult to move around, and the lighting was darker than I prefer. We started with the fried calamari and meatballs. The calamari was good, but the meatballs were disappointing. They were about the size of golf balls which is ok but lacked flavor. For our entrees, we ordered the penne alla vodka, chicken parmesan, gnocchi, and I had the spaghetti special that was finished in a cheese wheel tableside. The presentation was fun, but the food itself just didn't live up to it. The marinara sauce across the dishes was bland, the gnocchi was forgettable, and my spaghetti portion was surprisingly small, more like an appetizer than an entrée. I almost always take leftovers home from Italian restaurants because the portions are generous and the food is rich. This time, there was nothing left because there wasn't much there to begin with. The biggest disappointment was the bread. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I expect warm, crusty Italian bread. Instead, it tasted like ordinary sliced sandwich bread. I actually like Publix bread, but that's not what I'm looking for with an Italian meal. Overall, nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. For the prices, I expected much more flavor, better portions, and a more authentic Italian experience.

Cod and shrimp was filling and so much food. Cod was lightly battered- two nice pieces of fish. Black bean appetizer was also delish- really enjoyed it all. Medium size venue with an open kitchen and a decent amount of seating. Parking was not an issue, plenty of spaces in the plaza. The place was fairly empty, I think missed the lunch rush. I was seated right away asked for glass of Ice cold water. Those FL summers are brutal. The Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. No issues with the service and my food came out in a timely manner. #KaceysSeafood: STARTERS: ~ Chilled Ahi Tuna - 4.5/5 This would be at home at any Asian restaurant. Tuna was really tasty, Asian inspired style; sesame crusted, seared rare, served with Asian sauce over seaweed rice salad. I used to eat appetizers like this back in HI. KACEY'S CLASSIC ENTREES: ~ Shrimp & Grits - 4.5/5 Big portions! This was hearty, I was struggling to finish it towards the end. Very tasty, I felt like I was back in NOLA. Large portion of shrimp, savory cajun sauce, creamy grits, corn & bacon relish. Delish! Can't wait to try other items on the menu...
