Once we got there, it was crowded which was reassuring because it shows that it's a good spot. I was a bit thrown off with the pricing because it's not cheap for breakfast foods. I was attending a meeting in Sarasota and was on the hunt for coffee. After a 2.5 hour drive to go 45 miles I needed coffee. I found a nice vanilla latte that made me happy and I couldn't resist looking in the bakery case. I asked and they do make their goodies on site, so I took a lobster claw, blueberry muffin and a carrot cake slice home. And yes I did splurge and take a bite of each one. The blueberry muffin is perfect, a little crunch on top, super moist muffin and flavorful blueberries. I had never tried a lobster claw, and I am glad I did. The pastry is flakey and not to sweet, which compliments the cream and ricotta filling. The carrot cake was moist and the flavor good. I would have liked a bit more icing to cake ratio. Overall I am super happy and when I attend the next meeting on Main St in Sarasota this will be my first stop. Clean, cute little place with indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Service is terrible. Like really really bad. I'm sure they are getting their roots in since they just opened but stick to this location for sure. I've been to Of Kors twice so far and both times I've gone I've been sooooo tempted by all of the gorgeous sweets on display, but I just can't get myself to order them. It's because right now I'm only allowing myself to get one treat and although I try very hard, I cannot resist their Crepe Classico. First off, it's huge, it's hard to finish in one sitting. And that's just fine because it means I get seconds! But if you're one who's willing to share such a delectable delight, it will feed two. The crepe itself is fresh and fluffy with the perfect chew and houses within are a ton of strawberries and bananas that commingle with Nutella and some sort of magical cream that I have had dreams about. One of these days I'll venture to some of Of Kors other items, whether it be sweet or savory, and they offer a ton, including a number of vegan choices, which I have found to be fairly hard to come by in Sarasota. I'll leave you with the fact that the atmosphere in Of Kors is so very welcoming and the interior quaint and comfortable. I can't wait for my next visit! read more

Excellent breakfast I stopped by this morning for some breakfast, a Ham, Cheese, & Lettuce Croissant and for dessert, an Apple Strudel. It was an excellent breakfast. The croissant was warm, savory, and delicious. The croissant wasn't too tough to use as a sandwich, so it was an easy eat. The strudel was also very good, lots of apple filling in this cylinder-shaped pastry. OfKors has a display case of other good looking pastry offerings. Our experience exceeded the expectations and we loved everything about the place, their service, the people, the food options and above all, the food. They have a few vegan options ranging from sandwiches to desserts. My family loved their coffee, breakfast croissants and the famous honey cake. They have a cute indoor sitting area where we can sit and have a nice breakfast/snack. Most people there seem to be regular local patrons. Highly recommend this bakery to anyone staying in Sarasota. We ordered the leek parmesan croissant, the pistachio muffin and a bagel stuffed with egg, salmon, and a spinach artichoke spread. Every item was made to perfection. We only wish we could've taken more to go, but it would have gone bad while we were out on the beach. We happened to be there on Mother's Day. There was a line but it moved quickly with plenty of seating for everyone (indoor and outdoor). The business was clean, well decorated, and played Christian music which you don't always find a lot of inside businesses anymore. We live downtown & frequent this bakery a few times a week. Our favorite pastry is their double chocolate muffin. It is fresh, dark chocolate & not sweet. The pastry 2 weeks they stopped making it. Why? It was often sold out so obviously people like it. Also, they kept the sign "double chocolate" but put in a yellow cake with chocolate chips. I didn't care for it at all, too sweet. I spoke to them about this but nobody is responding. We won't be going back. It's great having a bakery downtown, but I can't imagine why they stop serving a winner?! read more

We love this organic bakery! Everything we have had has been delicious and well executed. We mostly get carry out but once we had sit down service and enjoyed some really yummy vegetable quiche and some caffeinated drinks. Of Kors is not a typical bakery you would find in Florida or even the US as it has a different feel and is a cafe with about 30 person seating area and a mix of tables and couches with some greenery. It is local family owned and operated; the owners are from Ukraine and the quality and effort they put into their creations is easily observed. The bakery specializes in European baked goods and does not offer traditional American styled birthday cakes as you would find in typical bakeries. You can always call to request whatever cakes they make. There are pastries, macarons, cakes, cheesecakes, breads, donuts, etc. sold on any given day. We are a fan of their mousse cakes and coming from someone who does not typically like "mousse" they are excellent. The lemoncello cake is also a favorite. We adore the panetone that they make especially at easter time and the challah bread is very good. The cafe has been around nearly three years downtown. Parking on the street is available. If you have not experienced this place you should give it a try. I cannot imagine you would be disappointed you did. One thing to note is they donate their baked goods to local hospitals and frontline workers during these pandemic times which I greatly appreciate.
