Gomtang and Cabonara Ramen. kimchi
Michelle D.

Service was very tentative and friendly as we entered the restaurant. Our water cups were always refilled. Love that! Happy Hour is coming in Dec from 11am to 7pm with BOGO beers. I ordered the gomtang. Very beef heavy, you know the chef spent a long time cooking that broth. It was very rich, flavourful and helped my sinuses. Delicious. Rice was soft and fresh. My husband ordered the carbonara Ramen. It had grated cheese to get that extra kick. The kimchi was my favorite part. The kimchi here is fermented for 6months!! It was very authentic. That was the first thing I said to my husband when he asked how it was. The flavor brought me back to Korea! Coming soon there will be a spice challenge!!! The tteokbokki will come in different level of spiciness, ranging to mild to extreme. The chef was very excited to add this to their menu. We can't wait to try it. Next visit, I want to try the chicken wings. It smelled sooo good from the other tables.

This is the former Bites Asian Restaurant. Our server Hunmo was very attentive and took his time to explain the menu. Great service. We ordered beef bulgogi over rice and soy garlic fried chicken wings. Everything was good. The wings they cook them to order so there was a small wait, but they came out fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean and quiet. I would recommend!

Pork and shrimp over vermecilli noodles. Incredible flavor!!

Food was perfect and authentic! Incredible made and done quickly. Each bite was savory. The pho broth given to us was also savory and lovely. Ambiance was nice and great for family.

While searching what to have on our weekly Friday dinner date we stumbled upon Oh Korean Bistro on yelp and I couldn't be more glad. The restaurant just opened recently, but the small space filled up while we were there! The place is quiet and inviting. Each booth feels intimate and private. We were quickly greeted upon entering by Hunmo Shin who showed us to our table and offered us ice water to start. Hunmo was very knowledgeable and helped us figure out what we wanted to try. We started with an order of beef Dumplings and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy and super flavorful. We ended up getting the dolson bibimbap and the japchae for our entrees. They were both so good. The bibimbap was super flavorful and had a little kick! Definitely authentic. The Japchae was also fantastic. A little milder in flavor compared to the bibimbap, but also very good. The noodles were perfectly cooked and delicious. But what really makes this place stand out is the service. Hunmo was waiting on all the tables by himself and yet he made sure to attend, check up on, and refill every patron that was at the restaurant. You could tell he really cared about our experience and wanted us to enjoy. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's definitely a must try in the area. Very authentic and homey.

This place is amazing, do yourself the favor and come here! The service was great throughout, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the food! Everything came out in a timely manner and cooked to PERFECTION

Ughhh the food was so good!!. The portions were generous, and our server was so kind and helpful with menu recommendations. Even though the restaurant is still undergoing renovations, it already looks great and has a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely coming back ^-^

I had a great experience here! Came in for lunch and the service was great. My food was delicious and came with a side of kimchi. Will definitely be coming again!

Bibimbab and Galbi ribs

WE'RE COMING BACK and bringing friends, this place was delicious and very welcoming :) Growing up in the northern VA near Annandale, I've been searching for good Korean food in SoFlo and this place takes the cake. We ordered the Galbi ribs (insane flavor) the Korean soy garlic fried chicken (so juicy and perfect crisp), the Beef bibimbab, and the passion fruit Sorbet (gorgeous presentation). Everything was done so well. The chef came over and welcomed us as they just recently opened. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating!! We can't wait to be back!!!! *wanted to share my review for the yelpers and Google reviews because this place deserves it!

Beef shin scallion soup came with rice. It is so tasty.

We try this new restaurant today for lunch. Food is original and tasty. Service is good and nice ambiance and clean. We will go back. Menu is big enough for our choices. We ordered fried chicken wings, beef shin soup and beef tofu soup that is spicy and tasty. It came with rice too. It is Asian soul food!

The restaurant offers à la cart menu as well as kbbq where you get to grill your own meat. We have been there several times because it is so close by where we live. The hospitality is nice and the servers are always so friendly and welcoming. But for our experiences, the food quality, consistency, and the flavor was just not there. The Prime K BBQ family seems like truly genuine people. You should check it out to support their business! As far as the taste goes, it was not to our expectation. A lot of room for growth and maybe if they can push out consistency in taste, they have potential in the future! This restaurant is located in a plaza that offers plenty of parking spaces.

My husband has a very sensitive stomach, so he's usually the reason I can't go out for KBBQ as often as I'd like -- but surprisingly his stomach did really well here! So now I'm thinking this might become a more regular spot for us lol. I also love that it's not overly busy and the staff will actually cook the food for you if you want. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to do the grilling myself or leave smelling like BBQ, so that's a huge plus. Also -- not on the menu but if you can get the egg custard, DO IT. One of my favorite things there! Definitely recommend if you're looking for solid KBBQ without the chaos.

I don't live super close (Pembroke Pines) but I love the food and boba so much that I'll make the trip. Their samgak gimbap is my favorite; it's fresh, tasty and filling. I've had the spicy beef, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, regular tuna, spicy crab, and spam. You can order in person or at the kiosk and customize each gimbap with sauces, cheese, kimchi, etc. My husband likes their bulgogi rice bowl, it's a big portion and you can also get a sauce with it. As for their milk tea, I've had the taro and honeydew (my go-to flavors) with regular tapioca pearls and it's perfectly sweet, cold and delicious. Their dalgona latte has good coffee and honeycomb flavor. The couple that manages K-Town are so pleasant and polite. They are very patient and explain what you can get with each item. The wait time is about 10 minutes depending on how much you order (it's stated on the menu) because everything is made fresh. It's located in a mall food court so there are a lot of places to sit. I'm definitely going back and I may try their ramen or tteokbokki (and definitely at least two gimbap). I'm so happy there is a local Korean street food spot at Broward Mall. The…read moregreat part is that they have a fan that will suck all the smoke underneath, so you barely smell like bbq after. Of course, the true spotlight is on the food. Because it was my birthday, we opted for the premium menu. Honestly, we tried a variety of meats and although they were all good, when we go back, I'd probably just order the galbi. We did come back months later and this time, for my husband's birthday lunch after we played golf. His brother and dad were also with us and we tried their AYCE Korean fried chicken. AYCE for $15.99, but the catch is you have to order a drink. So, basically, more like $20. Chicken was good and we tried different flavors: soy garlic, spicy, cheese, honey (powder), and plain. The honey was my favorite, but to each their own! We tried to eat as much as we could to get our money's worth, but in the end--in my opinion--it's worth just getting it as an order, which is practically the same price and no requirement to order a drink. Overall, I would go back for kbbq... we have a good amount of kbbq spots in the county and of all the ones we've gone to, Hallyu is part of my top 3. Best tip we can give you: order the honey fries!

I had never heard of this place, but she let us know it was her favorite spot to enjoy this kind of food. They do not take reservations, and we were a group of 6 on a Friday night. You should prepare to wait, but the great news is that their other restaurant / bar next door will serve you drinks while you wait. We didn't wait long, had one beer nextdoor before being called back. Wow just wow when it came to the feast that we had. To be honest I have no idea what we ordered as I was a major passenger princess on this meal and let my friend order her favor things for us. My fave was the short rib but all was excellent. I can see why this is a favorite in the area for this kind of cuisine. Would definitely go back!

Everyone enjoyed the seafood pancakes, Hemul Panjun. The black bean noodles, Jajanmyun, got mixed reviews from our party of six. Personally, I liked them but didn't love them. It was my first time trying this dish. The noodles themselves I enjoyed a lot -- kinda slippery, nice chew. The black bean sauce was very umami and I could easily see this being a comfort food to some. The stars here were really the grilled meats, and this place is unique in that they have charcoal grills. We ordered two of the marinated Kalbi, short ribs, because everyone loved it so much. The marinated chicken was good but would probably skip it next time for more Kalbi. The bulgogi was delicious and would definitely get that again. All of the bonchon, little side dishes, were great too! As far as the vibe, I'd say it's pretty casual and family-friendly. The only thing I find a little scary is when they bring out the hot charcoals to the table. That thing is hot and heavy and has to be brought to the table with extreme care. Sorry no pics! Was carried away eating!
