We drive 45 minutes to eat here and it was definitely worth it. We was greeted by a very nice and knowledgeable host. We had Bul Jok (Fried Spicy Pork), Tang Su Yook ( Deep fried pork) and sticky rice. The Tang Su Yook came with a very delicious sauce that was sweet and sour with thinly slice vegetable. The Bul Jok was delicious and spicy for people who like some heat served on a hot sizzling skillet plate. I ask for soy sauce which was house made and by far the best soy sauce I have ever had. Everything was delicious and freshly made. Needless to say we will be driving back down again.

I was shopping in Aventura mall and craved Korean food so I googled and found this hidden gem! The location is hidden and had to get some help from the staff to find it. My advice is it's in the shopping center where you will see a Wawa's on the corner. The small restaurant is located near the thrift store. It's small when you walk in, you're greeted by the sweetest guy! I believe it's his mother's place. They brought out the banchan my favorite side dishes! Omg the kimchi was so delicious. When I asked about it, it is homemade by the mom! Of course you can taste the love she puts into it. I loved it so much I took some to go. Also, you are given bean sprouts and fish cake as side dishes. I ordered bulgogi. It was cooked to perfection on the hot skillet accompanied with onion and green onion sizzling on the grill. Very tasty! Then I had the japchae. A staple noodle dish. And the kimchi soup. The broth was tasty! Overall it was a great hidden gem that I found. If you are craving Korean in Hollywood area this is worth a try.

Hole in the wall type of vibe, super small and cute. Service was a little slow, but the food was fresh. The food was amazing, simple as that! Will be coming back for sure! Side note, please try the drink combo that I posted, insane!

Amazing!!! Most authentic Korean food I've ever had. The soft tofu stew was amazing. The perfect amount of spice. Great sides. Highly recommend.

I heard about this restaurant from my friend and he spoke very highly of spicy seafood noodle soup. My wife and I came here on Saturday after 3:00 pm, but surprisingly only one of six or seven was not taken. The restaurant was cozy and small and was run by couple. We ordered spicy seafood noodle soup and deep fried pork with sweet & sour sauce. Noodle soup smelled really good and tasted like authentic one I had in Korea and Los Angeles. It was totally unexpected. I mean the food was legit. The pork tasted good too. The outside was crunchy and meat was very tender. The only downside was wait time was too long, but worth waiting. It is a hidden gem.

    Jjampong. Really top notch

We were on vacation and I was craving Korean food just like my family makes and we found it. Everything had really great flavor and authentic taste. The son took care of us and was really nice. So glad we tried this place out. Any dish you get will be legit and on point.

Best and most authentic Korean restaurant I have found in South Florida. The homemade Kimchi is fantastic. I ordered the Kimchi Joun, Dukbokki, Jjam Ppong, Beef Bulgogi, and Ja Jang Myun. Every dish was packed with flavor. I will definitely be back.

We were craving Korean food so we found this place on google and decided to give it a try.. The restaurant was completely empty when we got there for lunch. I ordered Bul Jok which was surprisingly good! It was spicy and sweet at the same time. Just what I was craving ! Definitely recommend. The beef bulgogi was tasty too but the side dishes were disappointing. The server actually had forgotten to give it to us until we asked for it. It came in tiny plate with piece of kimchi, luncheon meat(spam). As for last dish, disappointed again because it was 90% batter with teeny meat inside. But sauce was good

Went here with my friend that was in town from Naples. Her area has little to no Korean food, how very sad for them! She is part Korean and was looking for some authentic food, so we decided to give this place a whirl, since I was looking for a new Korean place to try. The place is in an unassuming plaza, on the very end of one of the strips. You may pass by it if you are not looking. We waited until they opened and walked in one minute after they unlocked the door. Very tiny space, maybe 6 tables at most? They got 2 more customers while we were there- one took food to go and one ate there, so I am not sure what their busy hours are. The server was likely the owner. He was not the most pleasant person, very short and curt with his answers, but this may be a cultural thing. We ordered some Soju, mandu, japchae, and budae jigae. The cook everything to order it seems. The banchan was kimchi, sesame Chinese broccoli perhaps (?), seaweed, and fish cakes. It is a very small amount. I liked the kimchi and sesame greens, but the other 2 are things I do not like in general so I didn't eat them. My friend did and she enjoyed them. The mandu was very good, simple easy potstickers. Nice and hot. The japchae came out next. You could tell it was wok-cooked right there as it had that smoky taste to it. It was AMAZING! All the flavors were on point. My friend even commented on how much of it I ate, since I usually eat exponentially less than her. The budae jigae came out maybe 10 min after we finished off the japchae. This thing was HUGE!!!! It came bubbling hot, and was placed on the little double burner that the server/owner sat on the table in the beginning. It was legit stuff! Bakes beans, Vienna sausages, Spam, kimchi, fish cakes, Ramen, smoky/sweet/heat flavors, ham, gochuchang. The server bobbled some of it as he sat it down because it was so big, causing it to spill some, but the massive amount we got was fine minus the few sloshes. As the budae jigase sat as we ate, it got thicker and thicker, by the end it was almost like a spaghetti with sauce. I took the leftovers home and enjoyed the next day. It was a tad pricey for Korean food, but I guess it is a trade off to have the authenticity. I think it was about $90 total for everything. I would totally go back again when the urge for Korean food hits.

A small family restaurant that churns out authentic Korean food. I have never heard about this place until tonight. This place is a gem of a restaurant located in a strip mall that is really nondescript and it seems like they are hiding. It's not a fancy place at all. This place has about 10 tables that fit two people at a time if you come with a larger group then they just move tables around to fit your group. The place was packed and I heard that sometimes they run out of food because they are so busy. We started with Gun Man Doo (fried vegetable dumplings). The skins were so thin. Then we ordered their Kimchi Pan Cake with Green Onions, grilled beef short ribs, homemade noodles with thick black soybean sauce, plus a deep fried chicken special in a sweet and tangy sauce. There were so many dishes that I wanted to order. Everything was so fresh and you might have to wait a little depending on what you order but it is so worth it.

I had never heard of this place, but she let us know it was her favorite spot to enjoy this kind of food. They do not take reservations, and we were a group of 6 on a Friday night. You should prepare to wait, but the great news is that their other restaurant / bar next door will serve you drinks while you wait. We didn't wait long, had one beer nextdoor before being called back. Wow just wow when it came to the feast that we had. To be honest I have no idea what we ordered as I was a major passenger princess on this meal and let my friend order her favor things for us. My fave was the short rib but all was excellent. I can see why this is a favorite in the area for this kind of cuisine. Would definitely go back!

Everyone enjoyed the seafood pancakes, Hemul Panjun. The black bean noodles, Jajanmyun, got mixed reviews from our party of six. Personally, I liked them but didn't love them. It was my first time trying this dish. The noodles themselves I enjoyed a lot -- kinda slippery, nice chew. The black bean sauce was very umami and I could easily see this being a comfort food to some. The stars here were really the grilled meats, and this place is unique in that they have charcoal grills. We ordered two of the marinated Kalbi, short ribs, because everyone loved it so much. The marinated chicken was good but would probably skip it next time for more Kalbi. The bulgogi was delicious and would definitely get that again. All of the bonchon, little side dishes, were great too! As far as the vibe, I'd say it's pretty casual and family-friendly. The only thing I find a little scary is when they bring out the hot charcoals to the table. That thing is hot and heavy and has to be brought to the table with extreme care. Sorry no pics! Was carried away eating!

Because it was my birthday, we opted for the premium menu. Honestly, we tried a variety of meats and although they were all good, when we go back, I'd probably just order the galbi. We did come back months later and this time, for my husband's birthday lunch after we played golf. His brother and dad were also with us and we tried their AYCE Korean fried chicken. AYCE for $15.99, but the catch is you have to order a drink. So, basically, more like $20. Chicken was good and we tried different flavors: soy garlic, spicy, cheese, honey (powder), and plain. The honey was my favorite, but to each their own! We tried to eat as much as we could to get our money's worth, but in the end--in my opinion--it's worth just getting it as an order, which is practically the same price and no requirement to order a drink. Overall, I would go back for kbbq... we have a good amount of kbbq spots in the county and of all the ones we've gone to, Hallyu is part of my top 3. Best tip we can give you: order the honey fries!

Firstly, this is a joint restaurant with Pho Tien. They offer both Korean and Vietnamese cuisines. As of September of 2025, the whole plaza is under construction but the business is open! It looks a little odd but just trust the process. As I mentioned they offer two cuisines so the variety of food options is great! Whats even better is the taste. I tried a simplistic dish, the jajangmyeon ramen and added the cheese and egg, and it hit. Everything you hope for in a comfort dish (and for a price that almost feels like a steal). I also got to try some of their Korean beef and it has that flavor that just makes you want more and more. I'll be back to try that dish in its entirety. Now about the service.. it was good but there were some tiny flaws. They seem family owned so expect a couple language barriers but that's never an issue in my opinion. There just wasn't anyone that came to refill our waters and we waited a little bit for someone to swing by so we could get our check. Korean Bistro, I'll be back and I hope to be able to give this place the 5 star rating it can easily earn.
