I stopped by here on a whim while in the area for a quick lunch and was not disappointed! Usually a crab boil is kind of pricey and comes as a large portion, so I was very excited to take advantage of their lunch special seafood boil. I got crab and crawfish with the garlic noodles and was very impressed with the flavors. I must say the presentation was a bit lacking as they just brought a plastic bag with food in it to the table, but that did nothing to take away from the taste. I think they're known for their all you can eat specials, which seems to be a awfully good deal! Dining area has floor to ceiling windows facing the street to let in plenty of light. A good lunch was had here and I would not hesitate to return when next in the area.

My wife and I have been crazy about anything Cajun. This place is at the heart of Korea town. Honestly, with the all you can eat option, and based on what things are inside, this is a deal. We went wayyy too crazy on this. But my wife and I keep coming back. The spices, the food, the gloves, it's all an experience. You've got to try it.

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied overall. We visited with my little one and the restaurant was clean and family-friendly. They also had non-spicy menu options that were great for kids, which we really appreciated.

THIS PLACE IS SO UNDERRATED. I went yesterday with my boyfriend for my birthday after a long day at Universal and we were supposed to go someplace else but somehow ended up here. We saw the reviews about a rude server and were hesitant at first BUT we gave it a try and IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER! We got refills of the shrimp and crawfish and corn and went to town with it! We enjoyed the food so much we forgot to take a picture. The service was amazing! The server was very attentive and constantly asked us for anything we needed plus gave us new gloves and water refills before we asked for it! The ambiance is nice and most importantly the seafood is SO FRESH AND DELICIOUS IVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IT ALL DAY TODAY AT WORK! Highly recommend!!

If you're looking for an affordable AYCE seafood boil in Central LA, this is your best bet! For $38.99 per person, you can have unlimited shrimp, mussel, crawfish, and clams with your choice of Louisiana or lemon pepper seasoning (and you can change the spice too). On a Tuesday at 6:30pm, it wasn't too busy but seemed to get busier during our meal. Staff is attentive and come by often to refill your waters, ask if you want another round, or if you need new gloves. There is a parking structure too! When I came in July 2025, the only 1 lane access in AND out was along 6th Avenue. The exit on Virgil was closed, for some reason, which meant sometimes you had to allow the cars to get out before you can get in.

Their all you can eat is spectacular and the service is great! Also the location is very central The beer is also decently priced! Definitely need to come back

I wasn't sure what to expect at first, especially since they don't have a liquor license. I'll be honest--I had a moment of "I don't know about this." But the second the food hit the table, all of that went out the window. The seafood was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, but the real surprise was the garlic noodles. As soon as those came out, I was hooked. Rich, garlicky, and absolutely addictive. One of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. Service was friendly, the vibe was casual, and the food more than made up for not being able to grab a drink. If you're on the fence, go for the food alone--it's worth it. I'll 100% be back.

Price increased within the last month from $34.99 to $38.99 for their all-you-can-eat combo. The AYCE (All You Can Eat) option includes unlimited servings of shrimp, clams, mussels, crawfish, corn, and potatoes. It also comes with a plate of garlic noodles and a "daily basket"--which, during my last two visits, consisted of fried chicken tenders served over a bed of French fries. When you order AYCE, you're also eligible for 50% off their crabs. You can choose your preferred spice level, but keep in mind that everyone in your party shares the seafood tray--so only one spice level is allowed per group. You also have the option to select the sauce from Louisiana, lemon pepper, or a mix of both flavors for an extra $1 per person. Honestly, I highly recommend going with the mixed--it's worth it. This has become my go-to spot whenever I'm craving a seafood boil. It's a solid deal for the price, though the seafood isn't the freshest--you can definitely tell when peeling the shrimp, but not horrible. They start you off with a tray containing a bit of everything, and you can request less of any item if you'd like. As you order more, they'll bring out a pot of freshly cooked seafood and pour it directly into your tray to keep all that sauce flavor intact. On my last visit, they added extra garlic and lemon pepper--it was absolutely AMAZING. The staff is attentive too, always checking in to offer fresh gloves or a new bin for shells, and they consistently come by when the seafood starts running low in our tray to see if we want to order more. Will be back for more!

Calamari with cajun fries

Service was great and attentive, they gave us new gloves when we reordered more food and even switched out my friend's water that got sauce dripping into it. Food was also great it was really fast and yummy sauce (we got the spiciest) but would say clams did not feel worth it

Went for AYCE and it was awesomeeeee, but please be mindful it is quite oily, which is the nature of the buttery sauce. Three people went and ate a mix of the shrimp, clams, mussels, and crawfish. Usually I don't want to pay for anything except shrimp to be full when it's per pound, but since it's AYCE I got to eat as much mussel and crawfish! It was amazing! Staff are sooooo nice and they're very attentive to your needs. They come by with gloves, napkins, water refills, take orders all before you even ask. There's a parking lot next door so no need to worry. Had a little wait during the weekdays, but a good number of people inside.

If you're craving seafood boil in Koreatown, Oh My Crab is the spot, and bonus points because it's the only all-you-can-eat seafood boil restaurant in Koreatown. The seafood was plentiful and fresh, but what really tied everything together was the sauce. So flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced. Don't sleep on the garlic noodles either... they're an absolute must-order. We also tried oysters on the half shell, and they were surprisingly fresh and clean-tasting. You can tell quality matters here, which isn't always easy to find with AYCE spots. They have plenty of seats and free parking which is a huge plus in Ktown. If you want to go all out and leave full and happy, this is the place. Come hungry and wear something comfy

This place is sooo good! I came here due to briefly being on a special diet and not being able to eat many places. I tried the shrimp lunch, medium Cajun and lemon pepper sauce with garlic noodles. Those garlic noodles were fire, and all the flavors went well together! The service was good and the inside of the restaurant was spacious and clean. I even had an ice cream macron for dessert! I can't wait to go back so I can get some more of those garlic noods!!

Irene W.

First off, I love that there is convenient free parking here. My husband loves seafood boils and we stumbled upon this restaurant in KTown of AYCE for $38.99! They give so much selection too: crawfish, shrimp, clam, and mussels. I only recently started liking clams and mussels, but the clams were probably my favorite they were so flavorful and bountiful. They give you gloves, napkins, a bin to put your shells, and it even comes with garlic noodles and their "daily basket" which was crispy fries and calamari. I devoured the entire boil. Honestly my husband and I were able to just finish one together. There's tons of protein. I asked for more corn because it was so delicious with the sauce. And they made some fresh ones for us and put it into our boil. They also have martinellis apple cider! One of my favorites! I enjoyed the food here and loved the variety they offer. I would def bring more people cause it would be a party. The staff is also super friendly here.

When you walk in you wait in line and if you're ordering fish, you can pick out which one you want. After they write up your order, you pay and then they will call your number when it's ready! We normally order the tilapia fish, Camarones enchipotlados, the shrimp tempura plate, garlic bread and steamed rice. There hasn't been one time where I left hungry! They give you good portions and everything is so tasty. The fish is cooked to perfection, the shrimp and the chipotle sauce is to die for and the tempura shrimp are so yummy! Overall, this is a place where you could come over and over again and never get tired of it! Went around 5pm and saw we were the first ones seated while a handful of people came and gone for to go orders. I immediately ordered the soy marinated crab and live uni. There is a combo order of both, but it includes the American marinated crab and an extra small live uni. With their recommendation, we opted for the Korean marinated crab and small uni to share with 2 adults and one kid. When the food came out, they gave us another live uni on the house and I was so happy because I didn't want to share mine! The food was so homey and delicious. The seafood pajeon was so loaded with all the seafood bits and the soy bean soup was the perfect palette cleanser. Service was great and they were so helpful to answer any questions we had. They gave us extra water for our little one and refilled our tea when it was a fourth full. They were so tentative and asked how we liked the food. We loved it. We also enjoyed the banchan!

The marinated crab was very delicious, and spicy crab was even better, but the marinated crab is definitely higher quality, so if you want to get the best of both worlds order both or get the combo. When we finished ordering, appetizers came immediately and basically covered the whole table, and as a Korean restaurant with such warm hospitality I assume you can get more side dishes if you want, but we didn't want to waste any food. All dishes tasted great. The uni wasn't very surprising but it's still good, so if you are doing à la carte you can skip it. All in all a 5+ for the restaurant, also the restroom seems pretty clean so it's another plus for this smallish restaurant.

The restaurant is small, would recommend getting a reservation. The inside is basically one long bar with a few 2 seats tables along the long hallway/bar. They had a couple tables outside that could sit 4 people. We didn't have a reservation but got there about 20 minutes before opening on a Sunday on lunch. They ended up having probably 20 ish people in line by the time they opened. They had Cape Cod and Maine oysters the day we went. People indoors seemed to be receiving their food just fine, but the larger tables outside suffered. For hours. We got pretty much zero communication on what was happening; it took almost 2+ hours to receive any cooked food whatsoever. The raw items came out 15-20 minutes into the meal, which meant that we sat for the majority of the time with no entrees and no updates. Keep in mind that one of the hot items we ordered was the clams and mussels - a steamed dish that was literally dumped into a bowl with a pile of raw garlic and fries on top. The broth had a strong alcohol taste that did not cook off. Super underwhelming and disappointing after the 2 hour wait. Moreover, dishes came out seemingly at random, so our table of 4 people ate at different times, with no coordination (I realize some items are family style here, but sandwiches are clearly not). It's not fun/convivial for everyone when some have already completed their meal, and others have not even taken a first bite of their entrees. Ultimately they did offer to take the bread and one tostada off or our bill. A concession, but by no means an acknowledgment of the unpleasant overall experience. I think we're going to give this place a long break. And maybe only come back on a weekday when they're hopefully less busy.

Cousins Francisco Aguilar and Alexis Chacon relocated from Oaxaca to open this mobile mariscos operation. But Simon's seafood-forward menu is innovative and sophisticated, seemingly more at home in a sit-downery than a mobile food cart. Unsurprisingly, Simon has been lauded by news outlets and food critics abound. I've been dying to try Simon, but the limited and often unpredictable hours have kept me from it for months. My partner and I visited for a late weekend lunch and ordered immediately. We opted for 2 tacos (the Soft Shelled Crab and the Baja-style Fish) and a Large Aguachile Negro, and our made-to-order meal was prepared within a few minutes. Between the tacos, the crab was a clear winner. The crispy, whole crab was well-complemented by the fresh pineapple salsa and the rich chipotle crema. In stark contrast, the Baja-style fried fish was one-dimensional in flavor and ran on the soggy side, owing to the watery pickled cabbage slaw. But not even the crab taco could compete with the stellar aguachile. We couldn't get enough of the marinade's rich blend of acidity and smokiness, which overshadowed even the generous helping of fresh shrimp. Simon's complimentary salsa lineup also exceeded expectations. We most enjoyed the earthy salsa macha and the smooth, creamy salsa verde, but the tangy salsa Simon -- the truck's take on taco sauce -- was no slouch, either. Our bill totaled just over $30, and the meal felt reasonably priced and appropriately filling. We started with the oyster sampler featuring selections from Hollywood, MD; Pope's Bay, VA; Buzzards Bay, MA; Chesapeake Bay, VA; and Wellfleet, MA. The oysters were exceptionally fresh and served with great accompaniments. We always order oysters when visiting seafood restaurants because freshness is so important to us, and Water Grill absolutely delivered. A must-order. The grilled Spanish octopus, served with fingerling potatoes, Niçoise olives, roasted tomato, pine nuts, and olive oil, was very good (3.5/5). We're fairly picky when it comes to octopus, and while we would have liked a bit more char, it was still among the better versions we've had. The New Zealand king salmon sushi with avocado, hazelnuts, papaya, and white soy-lime vinaigrette was fresh, clean, and delicious (5/5). While not particularly unique, it was executed perfectly. The crispy calamari with harissa aioli and cilantro-mint sweet chili sauce was also well done (4/5)--crispy, not oily, and very enjoyable. Calamari is another dish we frequently order, and this version met our standards, even if it wasn't especially memorable. The standout among the appetizers was the New Zealand pink bream ceviche with cilantro, red peppers, onions, lemon juice, and olive oil. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were incredibly fresh (5/5). We only added a touch of salt. This is another must-order dish. The Peruvian bay scallops with pistachio citrus pesto were somewhat underwhelming (3/5), and the Brussels sprouts with bacon and chestnuts (3/5) didn't leave much of an impression either. The lobster itself was excellent (5/5)--sweet, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The accompanying coleslaw wasn't our favorite, but we'd happily order the lobster again and probably go for a larger portion next time. The absolute star of the evening was the Massachusetts black sea bass. It was easily one of the best dishes of the night and possibly one of the best fish dishes we've ever had at a restaurant (5/5). Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To top it all off, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert featuring chocolate cake, vanilla cake, oatmeal cake, and ice cream. It was thoughtful, delicious, and a wonderful ending to the meal (5/5). Overall, Water Grill earns a well-deserved 5/5. The quality and freshness of the seafood were outstanding, the beachfront ambiance was beautiful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening.
