This all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ had a great selection of delicious meats (I especially loved the marinated meats!), and the service was fast. It's a great restaurant! Following my friend's recommendation, the $38.99 option is already quite good. If you don't mind spending a bit more, the $58.99 option offers a wider variety of premium meats. They offer peeled marinated shrimp, pork cheek marinated in a garlic and chili sauce, well-marbled cuts of beef, delicious steamed egg custard, soybean paste soup, and much more. I love that rich, fatty, melt-in-your-mouth medium-rare marinated beef. My favorite side dish: Macaroni & Cheese, which is 10 times better than Chick-fil-A's!

yummy yummy! We got the $20 lunch special since we weren't really hungry but craving kbbq still! got spicy + regular beef brisket, beef bulgogi, and spicy pork belly! the presentation of meats was so cute !! fam and I really enjoyed the spicy beef brisket (and we're normally a pork belly family). decor inside was nice + very clean! button at our table was broken but workers were attentive

Decided to revisit this place today with the family cause it's been a while, we still had a very negative experience, there was literally one worker doing like 7 tables, i felt so bad for him, service was really slow because of lack of employees on the floor. Shame on the owners and managers of this place, I really hope our server can find a better place that treats him better, he looked very young too. It's a manager's responsibility to have enough employees on the schedule so that customers can have proper service in a timely manner. I will not be coming back here anytime soon.

Enjoyed various panchan Cucumber kimchi Cabbage Kimchi Beef Macaroni salad Bean sprout Jap chae Salad Rice Rice paper squares Triple tray of sesame oil salt pepper, chili sauce, brisket sauce We ordered from the $24.99 menu and stuck to Bulgogi and chicken. Service was efficient. Food was enjoyable. He was happy to come here again.

Me and my partner live close by so we decided to stop by on a Wednesday night. It was pretty empty, only 2-3 other groups. The restaurant felt a lot more homey compared to other KBBQ. It felt like a lowkey spot where close friends can get together and reminisce on fond memories together. We liked it a lot. We really enjoyed the side dishes - especially the salad and the cooked meat. We ordered the AYCE Set A. Price was very reasonable. Definitely not the best we've had but still good. I love steamed egg so I had to order and had no regrets. Service was good too. I will mention the smoke is a bit more on the heavy side which we didn't love as it starts to smell burnt.

Yerim KBBQ is hands down my favorite Korean BBQ spot. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the quality of the meat is top-notch. I've been coming here regularly, and I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this place.

As of june 10 2021 I was told they have outdoor dining. How many tables do they have?

Does this place have spicy mayo and/or rice paper?

I don't know. We didn't see anything like that on the menu. It might be available if you ask for it.

Do they cook the food for you or do you cook it yourself?

You cook the food yourself they serve you the meat

When dining here, Does my group have to have a person who is 18 years old?

You need to go with a person that is 18 or older!! They didn't specify this!! I was very disappointed.

How much is it after 5pm?

    16.99

Is the $11.99 lunch available on Sunday? Or is it only a weekday thing?

    It's only on the weekdays 11am - 5pm.

Does the kitchen closed about 30 minutes prior closing time?

    Yes

What seemed like a deceptively simple bowl was one of the most delicious and flavorful meals I've had - I'll be thinking about my bowl for a long time. I got the plain kalgaksu, mainly because it included pork potstickers. The anchovy broth isn't fishy (which I was concerned about), it's deep and full in a way that's hard to describe. It penetrates the noodles and potatoes well. The broth is similar if not the same between most bowl types. The cold noodles were also delicious, which a couple of my friends ordered. Quite large portions, as just about everyone had to take some home. They also have bibimbap if you're craving a rice based meal instead. I can't wait to come back - maybe not on a Saturday night next time so I don't have to look so long for parking!

I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. The bowls were large and came out piping hot. It was a satisfying meal and not too heavy. The price point was on the pricey side. Our waiter told us business has not been the same post covid. Some dishes are between $40-$60. I asked for a soup and they were able to make it less spicy. My friend got a soup with dumplings in it. He put a good amount of soy sauce to give the broth some life. Also, the banchan is on point. We asked for a refill and devoured the second portions. If you wanna impress friends with Korean food, bring them here! Its a casual place.

Restaurant was half empty and no Ike which surprised us on a Saturday night. Ordered some bossam and chungukjang and it didn't taste the same as it used to couple years ago. Not sure what the issue was but it lacked flavor. Also they were cleaning the kitchen while serving food which was kinda not sanitary with all the water splashing on the floor of the kitchen while they were making food. Overall it's not what it used to be and cleaning the kitchen while making and serving food is not a good combo.

Comes with a soy bean paste that you use to further season. Just mix everything in a larger bowl and serve. OMG. Absolutely incredible!!!!!!!!!! Before this main course, you do get three small bites (pumpkin porridge, scorched rice/tea, and tempura). Additionally three different sides are also served (acorn jelly salad, Korean escargot/snail dish, steamed cabbage), along with perilla chicken soup, and soy bean soup, the latter which is the most traditional Korean dish. Last for dessert you get red bean porridge, dried persimmon rolls, and plum tea. Nothing like this in all of SoCal. A must come and try for all.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
