    Mixto Seafood Ceviche
    Najeya K.

The Mixed Ceviche includes fish, squid, octopus, & shrimp. Damn it all tasted so fresh. They squeezed tons of citrusy lemons & lime on this ceviche, making it absolutely delectable. It came with a side of corn, potato, corn nuts, sweet potato, & plantain chips. I'd come back for this tbh. My friends ordered the lomo salado which is basically a carne dish with fries, onions, & tomatoes that is served over rice. It was so delicious as well. If you decide to come here, bring your appetite, as the portions are massive. Expect to pay 25 dollars per plate

Back again and they did not disappoint. We ate inside this time, instead of take out and it made a huge difference. The smell of chicharron was already filling the space up and that's what made us hungrier. Ordered the fried fish of the day saltado and the house special saltado (seafood/beef/chix) along with the ribs (costillas). Those ribs were to die for and the sauce it comes with is amazing. If you're coming for a nice restaurant, don't come here. It's a small hole in the wall, but the ladies are very nice and the food is totally worth it..!! Thanks ladies for letting me sample the huaicaina sauce also!

Fries as side in family meal

Got the whole rotisserie chicken family meal over the phone. They told me it'll be ready in 20 minutes. You get to choose 2 sides and I chose beans and french fries. They use white beans and the flavoring is unique and lovely from the field of pollo alla brassa. $35. The green sauce here is milder than most which i appreciate. Everyone in the family a fan.

A friend of mine recommended this place. The tallarines were sour and the lomo was insipid.Never coming back to this place and do not recommend you coming here because you'll waste your money.

Great customer service, very small lowkey location but the food is definitely tasty and the portion size is fantastic

Inside, very casual with just a handful of tables

Generous portions. Really good flavors on the food. Good service. And the price is very reasonable for what you get. If you don't know what to order or never had Peruvian food, get the Lomo Saltado (beef, preferably). The parking situation can be tricky.

Rikas never disappoints!!! I have been coming here for years. It's a small place with friendly service. Has a small parking space in the front but will get full fast.

Went for my first time. Its a busy area so do not rely on parking there. Its a very kitschy place. I ordered a Lomo Saltado to go and it was okay. It lacked a good sauce with the meat. It wasn't horrible but didn't stand out to me which hurts because this is the most popular peruvian dish. Service was okay. I ordered to go so didn't get much time. Overall didn't impress me. Perhaps I need to order a ceviche or something else! I would give it another shot however at this moment it lacks something that really shined.

I was upset that my typical chicken place happened to be closed on the day that I ordered from here, so I decided to check this place out. I was initially very excited to check them out because they have pretty good Yelp reviews. I ordered a whole chicken with some sides. Although the chicken wasn't bad, the sides and salsas were completely inedible. The salsa and salad dressing were salty beyond belief. The salad dressing tasted like full on curry/cumin with tons of salt. I do not understand the hype behind this place. Prices aren't even that reasonable either. I just expected a lot more, and was truly let down. Based on my experience, I just cannot recommend this place.

    Lomo Saltado (lacks flavor)
    Melinda B.

I had been here once before to have the lomo saltado. I thought it was under seasoned and was missing some sort of sazon. Perhaps it was missing soy sauce, perhaps it was missing ginger, or some key ingredient to really send the dish over with flavor. Although I thought the meal was under seasoned, I appreciated that the carne was tender. I did love the soft bread and I loved that it was very inexpensive. This time, my coworker was craving Peruvian. She saw this place and asked to order here, for our lunch. I told I thought the lomo saltado was so-so (since she was craving lomo saltado). But then I said, sure, maybe I was a being picky and decided to give another chance. This time we ordered the ribs, the chicken chicharrones, and two lomo saltados. The chicken chicharrones were more like chicken bites. I was expecting literal deep fried chicken SKINS, but these had meat on them. The flavor was good but not what I expected and I was a little bummed out. The ribs had amazing, sticky, sweet flavor! They could have been a little more tender but i am not sure what the peruvian rib style is like. Nonetheless, the ribs were great and my coworker's favorite item. The lomo saltado again was missing some "love." My coworker even said that is wasa just ok and is missing flavor. Not only that, but the meat was tough this time. I appreciate that this small business is doing its thing! There were customers in the dining area that seemed happy and I am very glad they have such amazing reviews. For me, for it being the second time I'm disappointed by a signature peruvian dish, like lomo saltado, at a peruvian restaurant, I have to leave 3 stars.

I had been craving their chicken for a while, so I finally came back today. As always, there was a long line. At first, the line wasn't moving at all, which was a little frustrating, but fortunately, it started moving much faster soon after. I hadn't been here in years, so it was nice to come back after such a long time. The chicken is definitely tasty, but unfortunately, they grilled it a little too much this time and some of it was quite burnt. I guess that's partly because they grill the chicken directly on the grill. And, too spicy for me : both chicken and fries. Parking here is always a complete challenge because the parking lot is small and there are usually so many people. But my parking luck is always amazing -- cars somehow always seem to pull out right in front of me! And once again, today, a car pulled out right in front of me, so I was able to get a parking spot easily. It felt like another parking miracle! I asked for a cup of water, and he kindly gave me ice water. I also asked if I could have one extra plastic bag, and he gave me another one without any problem. The staff were very friendly, which was good. However, there's one thing to keep in mind when getting takeout here: the chicken is so oily that the grease can actually soak through and leak all over the plastic bag. You basically have to throw the first plastic bag away afterward. That's why I'm really glad I asked for an extra bag and brought one home with me. It definitely came in handy!

I ordered the quarter chicken with rice and salad, and I was really impressed with the portion sizes. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and gave me the kind of authentic Latin food vibes that I love. The sauce was definitely the highlight for me--it was so good that I found myself adding it to every bite. The prices are also fantastic. For the quality and quantity of food you get, this place is truly a gem. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The restaurant itself is very small, with limited seating available. The customer service also wasn't the best during my visit. Since the dining area was completely full when we arrived, we decided to place our order to go. While we were waiting for our food, a table opened up, so we asked if we could sit down and eat there instead. We were told that because we had ordered our food to go, we were not allowed to sit in the restaurant. I found that a bit disappointing, especially since we had already paid for the same food as everyone else dining in. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely the reason I would come back. If I'm in the area and craving their chicken, I'd absolutely return--just with different expectations regarding the seating situation and service.

Adding insult to injury, when our food finally arrived, the server said, "Thank you so much for being patient!" That made me wonder if this kind of wait is normal. Instead of acknowledging that something had gone wrong, it felt like the long wait was simply being brushed off. The frustrating part is that the sandwich and fries were excellent.
