I'm not normally someone who leaves reviews but after such a positive experience with Kekoa and Ohana HVAC, I felt like I definitely needed to leave one. We received a response to our initial inquiry quickly and Kekoa was luckily able to come out to take a look at our system that had dumped a bunch of condensation from the upflow AC/furnace onto the garage floor. He was able to quickly diagnose the main issues and pointed out a few other potential things we could get done at some point all without being pushy or feeling like we're being taken advantage of. Everything he mentioned were things that were reasonable (i.e., on my radar/list of things to do) and not simply suggested to rack up the bill. Repairs were done quickly, work was done cleanly, and communication was superb as he was able to explain the 'why' behind the 'what'. Also a huge plus - shoe covers! First company bought new parts and still didn't get it to work and tried to get me to buy a new system. Second company just tried to push me to buy a new unit and couldn't diagnose the issue. After experiencing a house with no AC for a few days, I was beyond relieved when Ohana HVAC came out. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive, worked with my schedule, and even arrived earlier than expected. I had a great experience with Ohana HVAC when I needed a repair on my HVAC system. From start to finish, the process was professional, honest, and stress-free. A special shout-out to Kekoa, who came out and handled the repair. He was an absolute pleasure to work with--friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from the moment he arrived. The drain line from my unit had become clogged, causing water to back up into the emergency pan and eventually overflow into my attic. The water had started leaking onto the attic decking and making its way down the wall into one of the bedrooms, so it was definitely a stressful situation. Kekoa was able to quickly assess the issue, clearly explain what was happening, and walk me through the solution. He used nitrogen to clear the blockage in the drain line, which resolved the issue and stopped the overflow. He made quick work of the repair and had everything taken care of in about 30 minutes. My AC went out and had another HVAC company come out and diagnose what was wrong with it they identified that I needed to replace the entire furnace portion of my AC/HVAC, which would cost around six grand to do. I called in Kekoa and his team to do a second opinion, and he was very detailed and thorough and found out that i did not need to replace the entire unit and that the issue was with another part and that part was only 800 bucks or so. His team was quick and efficient and saved me easily five grand. They fixed it the next day.
