Great local sushi spot! We've been here so many times and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful and we always seem to be seated promptly. It is a little dark inside, but in a relaxing way. The wait staff is always helpful and patient when we're deciding on what to order and come back to check on us. They are a little more expensive compared to some other places near by, but the rolls are decently big and the fish is always fresh. *Also, yes the did add gratuity to the bill, but in my personal opinion it wasn't enough, so I added more to it. read more

This place was clean and nice decor. The service was a little slow because there was only one person waiting on tables when I arrived and it took a while to be seated. I ordered a 5 piece salmon Sashimi which was served cold and fresh! So delicious! I also ordered the edamame which was served in a large bowl hot and sprinkled with sea salt.. yum! I also had the salmon skin hand roll which I loved because the skin was crispy not rubbery. All in all it was a great experience and I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Our new go- to sushi restaurant. Staff are courteous with fast response to requests. Ambience is perfect- calming atmosphere and beautiful decor on walls. Seating is comfortable- Now for the food. new things we try are always tasty but my go to order is California Roll and order of mixed tempura. Both of these are the absolute BEST I've ever had!!! Very large portions and the freshest taste. Tempura is light, crispy and fresh. California Roll is large with fresh ingredients. 3 bites per piece for me. They refused to seat me because the entire staff does not know federal laws regarding service animals. I repeatedly asked them to simply look it up (it takes just a minute to google it) and they refused. Finally one staff member did it and apologized- after an hour of me protesting- but it was a terrible experience and I hope that another disabled person is never treated like that again, which is why I refused to leave until someone looked it up. This is happening so frequently in restaurants, people stubbornly refusing to admit they might not know something. And for what? My next step will be reporting them to the ADA for potential investigation. For the record- it's a $10,000 fine to not allow someone with a service dog into an establishment. read more

Just took a state contractors license and passed the trade portion and had time before taking the law portion and needed lunch. Saw Ohana as I drove through the parking lot and decided this would be a good treat. Rolls all looked excellent in pictures and the two tables I passed looked average to good for a reasonably priced sushi place. The interior was nicer than expected and smelled great, with nothing overpowering to try to hide something else. Service was great and they waitress provide the exact right amount of attention and when I asked if she would choose two rolls for me she didn't hesitate and just asked if 1. If I was ok with spicy and 2 there was anything I didn't want. She returned quickly with an Autumn Roll and another roll. Wish I could remember the name. They were GREAT! Yeah there were little things like the rice was a little to soft, but it wasn't mushy. The spicy tuna lost a little of the tuna flavor because of the spices, but they were great for $15 each. I probably would have been happy spending $20 or more they were that good and filling because of the fish and not the rice. The best part? - not once did I even thick about using wasabi and or soy sauce. I would recommend Ohana and will likely bring my family back when we are in Riverside. read more

I had a rather good experience here. The service was okay. They weren't super quick and didn't check on us for refills on drinks. They brought out our food fairly quickly after ordering. They did take their sweet time taking our order. Our meal was delicious. The rolls are very big. Even my big mouth boyfriend struggled getting the roll dipped in soy sauce and into his mouth in one piece. The portions are large and it's not just rice fill. You get large pieces of fish too. Definitely a place I'd go back to! A friend of ours recommended the place for bluefin tuna and they did not disappoint! FOOD: We didn't order nigiri because we were craving for more heavy rolls. We ordered the Sapporo roll and Fantasy roll which both has salmon on top. The salmon was fresh and the portions were huge! We also got the bluefin tuna roll which was seared and had an amazing sauce over it. Our monster roll had a great amount of crawfish on it. Overall, we felt it was worth the money with the big portions they give. Although, the pieces are limited they are pretty big pieces. ENVIRONMENT: Located in a plaza so parking was easy and free. Next to a cookie place as well. The service was excellent. They were all soo nice and sweet. The owners of the restaurant personally make sure that everything is going smoothly. We always had a our waters full and everything we needed. We learned that they are new owners of the sushi place so it's under new management as of last 2021 summer! I loved the Omg roll that was 14.95 great yummy fish. The Jen Jen is made with thick salmon very filling. The sombrero is in a tempura type of tostada. There are only so many different combinations you can create when it comes to sushi, so sometimes they all end up tasting the same. However, ima huge fan of the sushi rolls with mango and another sushi roll with cilantro. Those toe rolls stood out to me most bc the ingredients weren't like the usual rolls. Notes: getting nervous bc I'm reading others' review about this place and how they automatically put a tip causing you to easily double tip if you're not careful. I've been a customer here for about three years now. Usually I order online (I even tip them well when I do) and then go in and pick it up, I will never do so again. I just went to pick up my order, when we walked in they didn't even speak to us but made SURE to say something to the 5 other patrons that entered. Asked if they wanted a seat or if they were picking up and for their names and all. Which is extremely unusual here, usually they're kind and timely with service. However the people working there today are not the faces I am used to. Being a person of color; situations like this, as annoying as they are, do not surprise me. This place is very good most of the time. I did place a take out order for a lettuce wrap, which is my favorite thing to order from them. Unfortunately, the ahi tuna that I paid a couple of dollars more for didn't make it into my wrap and I was very disappointed. I called to the restaurant and they apologized and told me that they made a note for me to be credited for my next order with them. I haven't yet returned to get a new order but I'm definitely going to ask for the credit due to me. Usually, I don't have a problem. I believe that they may have just forgotten about adding the tuna to my lettuce wrap because they got busy. The yellowtail is consistently fresh and very good. We enjoy the Jen Jen no rice roll too. The rolls are large, sometimes bite size rolls are better like traditional tekka maki. Honestly this is the best sushi near me (Moreno Valley) the fish is SO fresh and the rolls are good. Rolls are a definitely a decent size. Everything is just so fresh and tasty I can't express it enough. Lots of good sushi combinations. I usually order sushi from here Togo so I can't comment on their customer service but I feel like the food just speaks for its self. The one time I dined in staff was polite and it was a enjoyable experience. They've always gotten my order correct and package everything so neatly and well.
