This means they provide high end design work but also the due diligence with professional structural engineers. Arranging good tradesman for smaller jobs is tough--call around and try it yourself and you'll find substandard, unprofessional options. The best tradesmen do massive new construction or can afford to avoid frustrating homeowner interactions. Meaning, you'll need someone in the business they already have relationship with. WISA's team was wonderful. Everyone did an expert job -- from digging the foundation (lots and lots of dirt needed to be removed!) to extraordinary architectural planning of the project to painstaking attention to every small detail that accentuated the beauty of this space. We especially like that we saw the same team members on a consistent basis (no outsourcing of labor). Everyone arrived on time for the workday and put in their full effort all day long, six days a week -- the excavators, foundation builders, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofing and siding specialists, and, indeed, the entire highly skilled workforce. They found solutions to any and every issue that sometimes cropped up, as to be expected in a large, involved project of this magnitude. The design and project planning team, along with the architect and company heads, were so very helpful in bringing our vision to life. We even went ahead and had old popcorn ceiling removed from our existing living room, dining room, and kitchen and had all those walls and ceilings painted to match our new room addition and had recessed lighting installed in those areas, too (our older home did not have any existing ceiling lighting in our living room) -- so a lot of expert wiring was required to accomplish all this. Additionally, we had WISA install electrical power and lighting to our shed while they were working on all of the other wiring installation work. Our new extension with plenty of large windows to enjoy our treed back yard just adds so much more to the enjoyment of this beautiful extra space. Our back yard was so sloped previously that we couldn't fully use a lot of this additional area effectively before. The new flooring was hand-picked and hand-stained to very closely match our existing floor that this tied into. We now have extra room for family and guests to stay. Not only did the room design and the new large side deck exceed our expectations, instead of renovating an older bathroom as we had planned to do, we decided to go ahead with having a lovely retaining wall and matching pavers installed to fully enhance our new space. This is the first time we've ever had a level pathway across our backyard. It makes everything so much easier! This also corrected previous poor drainage problems affecting our yard, so that was an unexpected added bonus. Our addition turned out better than we could ever have imagined and at a far better price than several quotes we received from other companies. Our initial quote from WISA was easily only half the cost of the quotes from other home improvement companies we contacted. Also, the WISA showroom has just as much selection of products as other companies do; and they will go above and beyond to help you find just the right flooring, tiling, bathroom fixtures, and other options even beyond what they carry in their large onsite showroom. From initial design, to pulling permits, to their advanced experience in coordinating and carrying out plans in compliance with homeowner association (HOA) approval, to final completion of a beautifully constructed new room, deck, and backyard retention wall and paver layout, they are truly top-notch! Working with Johan, the designer, was wonderful. He listened to our goals, made great recommendations and never tried to upsell. Omer, the project manager, was terrific and dropped by regularly to ensure everything was running smoothly, and answer any questions we had. Pedro, Bernardo and their team were great. They always arrived on time (at 7:30 one morning when the cabinets were scheduled to arrive), meticulously cleaned up everyday and executed the project with skilled perfection. And, thank you to the gentleman who hauled away the trash and debris everyday so that it wouldn't remain in our driveway. I highly recommend Dulles Kitchen & Bath!! Excellent kitchen and master bathroom remodeling done by KBR Fairfax…read more My 2 projects started end of June and completed mid August. I waited to post this review after fully using the kitchen and bathroom for 2 months, and everything has held up great (no issues). Pricing: KBR gave us the best pricing for the quality of work done. We got estimates from Beautiful Home Services and Dream Design Construction, both of which priced similar remodels thousands of $$ higher. Our kitchen and master bathroom remodel total was around $53K for our single family home. Design: Our Designer Burak, Project Manager Hussein, and Assist PM Omar were very nice and professional. Throughout the whole project, we enjoyed working with them, and they were flexible in accommodating our requests. The KBR Manager was clear about the additional cost over runs. Quality: Our estimated project completion was 4 weeks but as with any renovation, we ran into electrical and plumbing issues (from original house) that needed to be corrected. Our actual completion time was 7.5 weeks, but KBR's team of technicians did a VERY thorough job installing new dedicated electrical lines and plumbing. You'd rather have everything done right (licensed and permits) rather than fast. Fairfax County inspectors approved all the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. Details: Every day the technicians would prep the work areas to protect the surrounding rooms and cleanup equipment to help keep my children and family safe. The workers arrive early and leave on time daily, and some Saturday's they asked to work to help keep on schedule. KBR sends a truck to pickup the trash and debris every week from our driveway which avoided any issues with our HOA. Tips: if you can, you should dedicate 1 indoor garage space for their team to store equipment and materials. This speeds up daily setup and clean up. Order kitchen appliances from Costco (2 year manuf. warranty + buy Square Trade Extended warranty for 3 years $99-$120). Summary: The results speak for themselves, and my wife and I are very happy with our new Kitchen and Master Bath. Thank you KBR!

It took over "two years" and the County of Fairfax had to get involved for them to take care of us. They did sloppy and unsafe work. This was confirmed by independent inspectors that we hired and the County of Fairfax Permit Department. Below are some highlights. -Multiple Code Violations for electrical, plumbing and structural issues. -Multiple leaks with ceiling damage. -Our master bath had to be demolished 3 times for them to resolve issues that they generated. -Over 100 issues between the 3 bathrooms. Some were cosmetic others were very major and required demolition. KBR is inept, unprofessional and performed outright illegal/unsafe work. I can provide full documentation and photos to confirm this review is honest and accurate.
