That moment you drive away going, "They ARE worth 5 stars!" I was curious as to how a business could have nearly 400 5-star reviews, but here we are. The guys that worked on my Scion this morning were so nice and I was in and out in 15 minutes. The last time I went to a drive-thru oil change place - NOT Oil Changers - it was an obnoxious price and every 5 minutes the guys came back to my window to upsell me something else. I finally told them to take their dirty rags off my car and close the hood - I'm out. The guys at Oil Changers were genuinely nice and checked everything - fluids, tires, blinkers, etc. A quick once-over, but still appreciated! I don't always know if my blinkers and brake lights are out, so it's nice to have another set of eyes. They also offer free fluid and air top-offs for the next 4000 miles, just show them the sticker. Yes, more expensively than your after oil change, but definitely worth it for the genuine care and quick service! I didn't get their names, but they are working today (2/13/19)! Pulled up at 3:45 on a Saturday and they were quick to greet me. He told me the prices and the wait since they had 4 cars ahead of me and offered me cold water. He also apologized for not having a waiting room, this is the type of hospitality and honesty you want from an auto shop. Decided to go with a synthetic oil change and manual transmission fluid change. He told me off the top of his head exactly what i needed and the prices. Prices were higher than i was used to, but very reasonable. Especially if you want great service with no slimy sales tactics (looking at you jiffy lube). They got my car in at 3:55 even though there were four cars ahead of me. Took my information quickly and then got to work. They finished everything by about 4:30. (Remember, their typical oil changes are about fifteen minutes, this is also for a transmission fluid service and i had four cars ahead of me) Not only did they complete the services quickly but they also cleaned the windshield, checked all the lights, and the tire pressure. Stephen also assured me saying they have a free top off policy for their fluids and to stop by anytime they're open. Very nice employees and very professional and swift service. Seeing the manager/owner interact with his employees also makes me very confident in this business. He treated them with respect and they seemed like a cohesive team. Great leadership is what breeds excellent customer service and this team had it all. Makes sense that they are a five star business on yelp. Definitely will come back. read more

My husband and I used to love this place but since his latest experience there, I'm sure we won't be coming back. Since we have an older car, the "Low Oil" light would come on every so often. A few times we've brought it in, to get topped off like we were told we can and also encouraged to, and no big deal. This time though, the first guy tells him that he needs to get an oil change since it's been 5,000 miles since we last had it done or else we'd have to pay to get it topped off. Ok, so my husband agrees. Then he happened to look at the sticker they had given us the last oil change and asked the guy if it was the same mileage he had on his computer and sure enough it was, BUT it had only been 2,000 or so miles. We had just got an oil change A MONTH AGO. When my husband tried to tell someone else that they made a mistake, they brushed it off since they were basically done with the oil change, cut him off and basically told him he could leave now. Made him feel like he was in the wrong for correcting them. So we basically spent $50 on an oil change we did not need. read more

Oil Changers Poway has been the place I have taken all my cars for oil changing service for a few years now. I came in based on yelp reviews and am glad I did.They will ask you about additional services but aren't too pushy. I get it, it's their job to ask, it's you job to say "no" if you don't want them. They are always friendly. You roll in and just sit in your car while they perform the oil change and you can hear them yell out their calls. It's pretty amazing how efficient they are. Usually there are only 2 workers working the two bays and together they get oil changes done in 15 to 20 minutes. It's definitely a well oiled machine. Pun intended! read more

This is one of the best and courteous places you can go to get your car serviced. Quick, friendly, and VERY meticulous! One trip here for an "oil change" and they'll check all your fluids/tires/lights, wash your windows, and keep you updated with what maintenance services are upcoming or due. They NEVER try to pressure you to sell, and even if you say "no", it's like okay. No questions asked. My dad has been taking my car here since I was in high school, and I continue to take my car here now almost 15 years later! In the past I have had some horrible experiences with other places, either it be price gouging or horrible customer service, but since I have been coming here I refuse to go anywhere else and have recommended this place to my family. The service is fast, efficient, everything is checked and called out and double checked and the beset part, don't even have to leave my car. Most my encounters have taken no more than 15 minutes. Karl and Johnny have been the two that have mainly worked on my vehicle and their attitudes, professionalism and overall customer care is part of the reason I keep coming back. I honestly would have given this place a 4 star rating just because I wish some of the vehicle services were a little cheaper, but that pretty much goes for everywhere and anything ha. I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon. The service was quick and easy. My only purpose there was to get the oil change done, and didn't really care so much about other "courtesy inspections and service recommendations". As it turned out, they performed the oil change and checked/adjusted tire pressures, and nothing more. I was pleased with how quickly it was done, with no sales pitch offered to me.
