I originally had a buy-3-get-1-free service card from San Diego. Little did I know I would move to LA before I got a chance to use them all. I called to confirm that they accept my card since I was unsure if it was the same company. The sign says "Oil Changers (spOILed)". They confirmed it was the same company, so accepting my card was a go. I realize as I am writing this review right now that they bought out this location among others from previous owners. With that out of the way, I drove on over here when the time came for me to get it done for my car, and I definitely wasn't about to drive all the way back down to San Diego for it. I got the synthetic oil, had my fluids topped off, windshield wiped clean, tires checked, wipers replaced, and air filter checked. I gladly paid the difference with the service I received. I was in and out within less than 10 minutes, although it all depends on the interaction with the customer as well as the services performed. As with my other previous experiences back in San Diego, I did not even need to step out of my vehicle. The staff was efficient, thorough, and very nice. The only name I was able to find out was Deven, who was great. The others were awesome as well, but I didn't get their names. Overall, it was a great team effort. Apparently, I was one of the lucky ones having my situation, not having been here prior to becoming 'Oil Changers', as others who have come to this location under a previous owner had records wiped clean so that there didn't seem to be any reference to past visits. That and the prices went u from what they previously paid. At least two of the setbacks from new ownership. Even though there should be continuity, they happened to not retain that information through the transition, which is a shame because it doesn't seem to be much trouble to include. But I have no idea how that would work on the business end of things. As for the 1-star reviews I have seen so far, these are the reasons. When I'm in the area again, I know this place will do great for my vehicle. read more

It was my very first time at oil changers. They were super fast very friendly, and were informing me about every single thing that they were doing and checking in my car. I had the pleasure of having Christian Brian although Brian's shirts at Brandon I don't know what that's about but I don't want to not give credit to whoever actually did the work had a great attitude. Fast and affordable. My husband visited for an oil change after work. After picking up my girl from UCR, he drove to them. Their driving through system is amazing!!! No need to waste your time. He spent 15 min. for in n out. Around $ 60 without coupon. He actually got their $20 off coupon via email. So the total was $40 for a Honda CRV. They also cleaned the body and front glass, too. I usually go to the one in Alessandro, but since I moved this is the closest location. I have never had an issue before at the other location or long waiting time. First time at this location they said it would be 30 min wait. I was the 4th car. After 25 minutes they said it would be an additional 20 minutes still 4th car. I would rather drive extra to the other location for faster service. read more

After being my to go to oil change spot for probably 5 years or more, going to probably browse and find somewhere else. I was a Spoiled customer for years and I guess I got spoiled. Here's what I don't like like about OilChangers: 1. Since the sale of Spoiled to OilChangers the price has gone up 116%. In the last 5 months alone, it has increased by 15% WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. $54 versus $25. 2. Spoiled had 8 - 10 technicians on the shop floor. OilChangers today had 3. The oil change took more than twice as long. What I liked: 1. The technicians seemed to have a good "no problem" attitude and seemed to perform their jobs well. 2. I guess it's nicer to be able to stay in the car rather than having to go to the waiting room but I need the exercise. I'll be looking around for other companies with similar offerings. My main thing (understanding the current inflation factors) is the elevated price. If they can get away with 116% increase in just 12 months, who's to say they can't up it to 150%? If they're price is in the ball park I must stay. If not, I might go. read more

I have gone to this place twice. The first time it was good absolutely no complaints. However, I was told by one of them to come back in 4k miles. Today was coincidentally 4k miles. I'm going on a road trip and I wanted to make sure I got in. There was a gentlemen there. So very nice. He told me that no one should have told me that and I still have about 3k to go, but.. since I'm here and going on a trip that they will look at my fluids and fill them up. Everyone there was so very nice. Everyone. One person washed my windows and a young lady filled up my fluids. I'm not going to name the other place I used, but I used them for years and was never 100% happy with their service. They wouldn't put air in my tires and sometimes all the fluids weren't filled.
