Very disappointed! Had oil change yesterday and now engine light is on! Car is smoking and leaking oil! All after they poured windshield washer fluid on the engine to rid the spilled oil!!! Used to have a professional crew!!! This crew is completely inappropriate! I had to ask the man not to spray the man working on my car with windshield washer fluid! After a day of misfiring and a check engine light on, I decided to just have a look around under the hood. I found an oil cap that was barely hand tightened and not sealed. My dipstick was also not seated properly in position and was flopping around. My car then started right up and then misfiring went away. Eventually the check engine light went off. The following morning around 8 a.m. the misfiring came back and the check engine light came back on so I drove straight over to Oil Changers. There were three people working all of them just joking around and talking very unprofessional. The employee that helped me read the check engine code was Noah. He was not wearing a mask near me, and he's the same one that wasn't wearing a mask and was cussing and dragging battery cables over a customer car on my first visit. He tried talking over me telling me that the oil wouldn't do what was happening before the code was even read. It then showed that all cylinders were misfiring. And as he tried to tell me once again that it was unrelated, I interrupted him and let him know that the oil cap and dipstick we're not tight. And a possible vacuum leak could have caused the problems. He then said well I don't know about that. So I smiled and said thanks for your help and left...because I do know about that. I will be taking my car into a mechanic as soon as I can. A real mechanic. I will have him evaluate what happened. The air in the oil cause of vacuum leak? Is it possible that a sensor got fouled while they were working? I will then reach out to corporate for reimbursement. I also advised any Vallejo residents to get your oil changed at Precision Automotive. Is an actual mechanic that does oil changes for maybe $5 more than Oil Changers. At this rate I would have paid $100 more to not deal with these people or these problems. I do appreciate management reaching out, but it starts at your stores. And this one is garbage. read more

Note to the staff here, making fun of your customers behind me in line is not only unprofessional it makes you look bad as well. That kind of behavior is not acceptable anywhere. I have lived in Vallejo for a long time and I have never brought any of my cars to this place because it was never open when I had the time to go by! Well I found out that actually they are open till 7PM on the weekdays and they are actually open kind of early on saturdays and I think even open on Sundays! Go figure that I actually knew one person that worked there, that was the number one reason that I decided to go there, but I found out that I knew another person that worked there! I love the fact that you pull right up and you get to sit in the car the entire time that you are having your car serviced! These guys know what they are doing too, because my car really needed some help! I think it had been a few years since I had my oil changed, let alone the coolent replaced and the air filter replaced........I know I know, bad me! Well all in all I paid a little over $100 for all three things to be serviced as well as all my liquids were topped off, my tires were filled with air and they cleaned my windows so that I wiouldn't run anybody over, lol, those were Daymon's exact words, lol! I work till 6pm so it is hard finding a shop open after 6 so I found this place on Yelp. I called to verify till what time they are open, and what type of oil they use. The guy said it was the companies franchise oil which is generic. I asked if they had Castrol oil or Mobil 1. The guy said Castrol oil is reused oil lmfao I wonder if that's just his sales pitch?? but BMW vehicles manufacturer specifications is Castrol oil. I'm sure BMW wouldn't put some re used oil in there vehicles engine 0__0 as well as the Mercedes with Mobil 1 oil. Those are TOP of the line engine oils. Seems like this guy don't know wth he is saying and is just pushing to make a sale. Wouldn't trust this place to do my oil change. Btw, I was quoted $62 dollars for an oil change for a 99 honda civic. If you haven't price checked around town or is very naive and don't know how much an oil change really cost then you will get ripped off in the automotive industry. Price was ridiculously expensive for some very basic job and a generic brand oil. I'd say if you are really that desperate to get an oil change done then i guess this place would be a best place since they are open till late. read more

I dunno what happened next. I paid 60 bucks and have no idea why. But he convinced me that it's worth it cause I can come in anytime I want and he would top me off for free...just ask for him. SCORE! You guys wouldn't change my oil because it was an old car!!! Okay, listen, yeah my car has numerous leaks....I've been driving it around since 1987, I'm the original owner, and I have 615,000 miles on it. yes you read that right 615,000 miles or 25X around the world if I were to drive a straight line along the equator. I dunno why you guys are scared of liability. Maybe it's past customers who don't know crap about cars that regularly pay your prices because they're too lazy to go to an auto parts store and buy the $7 worth of oil and change it themselves, then want to blame stuff on you guys if their cars run 'crappy'. If that's the case, then I understand. That ain't my fault, and it ain't yours, but I'm the one who has to suffer for it. I know changing my own oil, would actually save me about 80% from your prices, but this time out, I came in strictly because you were on the way to my camping ground, and I ran out of time before taking off...that's why I was willing to pay that day... **If you are desperate, can't change your own oil, or do not care about your car, use this place** At first I thought, this is convenient, fast, a bit over priced but I want to spend good money to keep my car in good shape. I knew before going in the business is going to try and sell as much as the could. I used this place for all of my oil changes and have never had a problem until I changed my oil myself to save money. Also the one time I asked if they had window wiper fluid the guy lied and said my can was leaking the fluid he put in after I handed him $80+ for a premium oil change including the filter which is mandatory. I filled the window washer fluid the next day without leakage!!! 1. I have had three to four changes since I have had my car all but two have been through these guys. 2. I'm ok with cars, I can name parts and figure out what goes where. I just do not have the time or tools to wrench for myself. 3. Since I have had my car I remember all the original parts and I save the old ones I have taken off. One particular item was a white filter/can. I assumed it could not have been an oil filter after all this time and having changed oil few times by the same people. I check under the hood probably twice a month and I have noticed it time and time 2+ years. Finally out of desperation and to save money I changed my own oil at a friends house with space and tools to work with. I purchased FOUR Mobile Synthetic Oil bottles at about $40 and ONE Fram Oil filter about $15. I took maybe 30min of work and 10min of waiting saved $40+ 4. I finally I realized the white filter/can I mentioned earlier, it was the original oil filter that I bought the car with. I have had this car since 2008. I will never return to Vallejo, Oil Changers!!!! read more

Great service, and communication with the guys that change your oil here. I gave it 4 stars for the following reasons; there's no discount for using your own oil, you still pay full price. oil is changed based on who arrives first, meaning they will have you back up, and rearrange everyone based on who showed up first, it can be annoying having to back up so someone can go ahead of you. When they changed my oil filter oil got on the frame on my car, causing it to drip onto the floor in my garage. When I got home I was worried my car was leaking oil, when I know it doesn't leak oil because I keep my car very well maintained. I jacked it up and looked underneath and seen the oil, I wiped it down myself. These issues aside, the guys working here are very friendly, really informative about the fluids in your car, and when it's a good time to change them. read more

After they serviced my car for change oil, then when I got back on the road I heard something flapping under my car, when I stopped and peeps on it, I saw my drain cover under wasn't put back in right place, only 2 screws holds the cover and the other 2 screws was already missing, I drove slow until I reached my house and I tried to removed the cover myself at night with just flashlight and right tools because I can't go to work with that cover hanging under and keeps on flapping noise, the following day before I go to work I make sure to go back where I got change oil at Oil Changers then let them know what they did and then they put it back after let them know what happened, I really wasn't satisfied with their kind of service, because of what they did, I'm just lucky enough I heard the noise, Imagine I'm on the freeway having that kind of weird noise. read more

I was a few thousand miles overdue for an oil change and thought this would be a quick solution that didn't involve me buying a new car. Unfortunately, even though there wasn't a line, I had to wait and they tried to upsell me on the type of oil, air filters, windshield wipers, cleaning solution etc. I don't know how many times I can say "I just want a standard oil change, nothing more" in a single visit (It turns out the answer to that question is 6). I know it's not their fault, it's policy but it isn't a place i'd go back to. Fairly expensive, slower than it looks like it would be and a hassle. read more
