I asked for another little bowl of rice but it felt like I was pulling teeth but they finally brought it. My daughter had ramen noodles and they were good as well. The place was empty when we went but it looked clean and peaceful. Customer service always matters to me because even if the food was ok. I feel like the treatment will always cause me to go back and give it another chance other than the rice, everything else went well

I got medium spice pad Thai. Something I think is hard to mess up because it's very basic. I almost didn't order because just last year it was $16.99, now it was $22.99. Same method of ordering and did it for pickup. So many noodles were completely unflavored I started picking them out and throwing them away. I got a photo with one that I missed. To add to this, the medium spice was almost undetectable. I've ordered here many times before and never had it taste so bland. For almost $30 after tip (on a pickup order) this was so disappointing.

My bartender recognized me quickly, and welcomed me. After telling him about my injury, I decided to enjoy the smoked old fashioned. It was the perfect drink for me as it gave the right amount of buzz while having the smokey flavor. Plus, my bartender was so nice to give me an extra shot of what looked like to be burboun. It was so strong that I went to happyland afterwards. For my entree, I decided to try something new and went with the lobster roll. I was so happy that I did. Even though it was a small roll, it had ample amount of sweet and succulent lobster in a warm buttery bun. I savored every bite as it was as good as a high quality seafood restaurant. I was very surprised and impressed. For dessert, they had my favorite flavor of ice cream (ube), so I couldn't skip it. It had the right flavor and just perfect sweetness for me. It was the best meal at a restaurant that I had for a while. The service was amazing and the vibe was perfect. I sat at the bar with other great people. I am so sorry that I forgot my bartender's name, but he is so awesome. It's the gentleman with the earrings. Really, all of the bartenders are great, but he is always the one who makes my day very special! When it was time to pay, I was stunned that I was only charged for the lobster roll, and everything else was comped for me. Let's just say I gave a bit more extra for tip. I love Domu so much, and now I have another great entree to love. I wish they participated in magical dining, but still the prices are great for the quality you get. I plan on keeping on eating here when I need some great Japanese comfort food in the Dr Phillips area. Overall: A+

Went to Domu for lunch over the weekend, and it was SO good!…read more We had the wings, which are always delicious, and I had the Tonkotsu Ramen with black garlic. The garlic flavor was just perfect--not too strong at all. And the temperature of the soup was absolutely stunning! Not so hot that you feel like you're going to burn your tongue, but definitely not too cool either. Just perfect! I enjoyed every single noodle and every bite of the pork chashu. And yes... I finished the entire bowl, including the soup! Of course the waitress was super cool and friend which is plus! When I finished, I honestly felt like I had just come home. So satisfying and comforting! Yummy!

I have been wanting to stop by DOMU for a while now and I am so happy that I finally made it…read more Everyone raves about it so much and I just knew that it was going to live up to the hype and after going it definitely did. The service was top-notch. The restaurant itself is super cute and had a very warm ambiance (also pretty casual which was nice!). And the food... y'all I can see why everyone hypes this place up because it really is PHENOMENAL. The Richie Rich ramen is the best Ramen I have ever had. The broth was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and I was so happy to have leftovers for the next day. The wings were the best wings I've had in a very long time or probably even ever lol (no exaggeration because if you try them, you'll totally understand and agree with me). I truly can't wait to go back and try more things from the menu!

Wow wow wow this was everything I expected and more!…read more Domu has been on my list for a while and I don't know why it took me so long to finally get here. My friends and I dined in on Saturday night and showed up at 7PM to a two hour wait. Unfortunate, but so worth it. We headed upstairs to the neighborhood bar and got an appetizer and a drink while we waited. We only ended up having to wait maybe an hour and a half for our table at Domu. The service was insanely quick and immediately after ordering our first appetizer came within five minutes. They really know what they're doing here. Whoever was on the aux this evening, 10 out of 10. The music was amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were immaculate. We ordered the cheezus, their signature wings, and the patatas bravas. I understand why they are the best way in Orlando! They were crispy and sweet and flavorful. The potatoes were delicious and the sauce that came with it paired perfectly. I believe it was topped with a crispy quinoa, which was a really nice touch. I can't really do cheese so I didn't try the cheezus, but my friends loved it and said it was delicious. Our server gave me a rundown of his favorite chicken ramens and I ended up choosing the yuzu shoyu ramen. It was nice and full of citrus. I love the eggs that come with the ramen, and he very kindly brought out another egg for me as well as a brûlée egg. I've never tried a Brulé egg in my life and it was so interesting and delicious! Basically a crème brûlée egg!! 10s across the board. I can't wait to come back for more.

We were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and almost immediately after we were seated, we were greeted by her taking our beverage orders. I opted for the lobster grilled cheese with the kettle chips. The sandwiches were really big, but it was very delicious. The lobster is slightly chilled and they add Swiss and cheddar cheese to it. It was very tasty. The chips were good. I definitely could've done with less chips as it felt like they were overtaking the plate. My husband got the Texas wings. Which had the Texas dry rub with a honey glaze over them. Kind of gave you a spicy and sweet take. He said they were very tasty. Well seasoned and well cooked. He also got fries as his side and there is a dollar up charge for regular fries.

My friend specifically wanted a Brie Mac and cheese appetizer she had before. After ordering, they told us they were all out. They bought out chips with weird cheese sauce instead. I got the seasonal Cuban sandwich, my friends got the grilled chicken sandwich. My sandwich had guava and goat cheese and was honestly pretty good. The flavors really complimented each other. My friend's sandwich was inedible. The grilled chicken looked fine but tasted charred. It had such a burnt, smoky taste we couldn't stand it. The service here was good, but the food was pretty disappointing for the most part.
