Very solid spot for a date night, couple's brunch, or a family meal! This place is a great option whether you're looking for a romantic date night, a relaxed brunch as a couple, or even bringing the whole immediate family. It's definitely family-friendly, though I wouldn't recommend it for a very large group since seating seems a bit limited. For a standard family of 3-5, though, it should work just fine. The food was genuinely excellent. They make their corn tortillas in-house, which really elevates the dishes. The salsas are fresh and flavorful -- just a heads-up: the habanero salsa is seriously spicy! If you're not used to really hot food, I'd steer clear of that one. My wife ordered the chilaquiles and she's pretty picky when it comes to authenticity and traditional flavors. She really enjoyed it overall and said the flavors were spot-on. Her only small note was that it was a bit overly sauced. That said, they were very generous with the meat, which made it satisfying and delicious. I went with the surf and turf tacos (shrimp and steak). They were really tasty -- the combination worked well, and the homemade tortillas helped tie everything together. My only minor critique is that they could have used just a touch more seasoning. I ended up adding a little salt to bring out the flavors. The one area where they could improve is the customer service. When we arrived, we were seated right away, but then we sat for about 15 minutes without anyone coming over to take our order. We actually had to get their attention, and at one point we even moved to a different table before a server finally noticed us. Once the food came out, no one really checked back on us during the meal either. The staff wasn't rude at all -- just a bit inattentive and slow on service. I really enjoyed brunch here. I had the green pozole which was very good. The ceviche tropical which I honestly cannot wait to go back for. It was so flavorful and different than what I have had at other restaurants - the tuna marinated in lime and soy sauce. We also had filet al pastore taco that we thought were good. I also had a mimosa with coconut juice. I will likely skip this next time I go as it was a little too sweet and had coconut flakes that I just felt took away from the drink. Service - despite negative notes on service, my experience was fine. Our waitress came by to check on us timely. We did have an issue with ordering wine. We specifically asked for a sparkling wine and were told that the bottle we were purchasing was sparkling but there seemed to be a misunderstanding and the bottle that was brought and opened was not sparkling (even when I questioned that it wasn't). It was not just shrimp, different but still tasty. I ordered the anjillo shrimp for my main course and it wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped. 3/5. It was super fresh, refreshing, and a great portion size -- both of us ate from it and still had some left. For our meal, we ordered the Mar y Tierra tacos (ribeye and shrimp). You get three small-to-medium tacos on corn tortillas. They were really good -- honestly, just a tiny pinch of salt would have made them perfect, but I would absolutely order them again. The server told us they're one of the most popular items on the menu, and I can see why. Before we left, we ordered a shot of their house reposado, chilled, with an orange slice. When I say smooth, I mean super smooth. And that's coming from someone who usually drinks Clase Azul Reposado. I didn't even catch the name of the tequila, but it was excellent and I'd definitely order it again. The service was impeccable. I came for Saturday brunch, elated to finally try this place with family, but I wasn't impressed. First of all, our food was served cold after waiting nearly half an hour for the food to come out. We weren't the only ones waiting either, so it let me know they were probably understaffed or had staff that wasn't trained well enough. We started off with the queso flameado, while all our food came out cold, this menu item was served warm. My favorite part was the homemade tortillas, the kitchen was nice enough to bring our party of six extra tortillas. Queso Flameado: 5/5, it had nice flavor. Tasted like what I would have made at home and it paired so nicely with the homemade corn tortillas. Pozole Verde: 2.5/5, it was overpowered with the taste of cumin. You can tell the cooks are not Mexican at this restaurant which is sad all things considered that this is a Mexican restaurant. Aside from that, all the 3 pozoles we ordered were served cold. The nice touch was that all pozoles were served with a side of corn tortilla chips. Chilaquiles: 2/5, it was just like chips with cold salsa. This menu item was also served cold. Not anything special. Ribeye Tacos: 3.5/5, the meat was tender served in homemade corn tortillas. This menu item was served at room temperature, but it was not appeasing enough to finish the whole meal. Tulum Mimosa: 5/5, we ordered 2 of these and they were perfectly portioned and strong enough to enjoy. Cafe Americano: 3/5, while they didn't offer cafe de olla, because the waiter said it was outdated, we ordered 3 of the regular American coffee. It was your average coffee, not strong enough or special flavors peeking through. They serve it with slim milk so it makes it difficult to truly enjoy. Kids Meal, Grilled Ham & Cheese: 5/5, this was the only menu item served hot. It was served with a side of plaintain chips and has a portion large enough for an older child. The downside was my salad and entree were delivered at the same time. So my shrimp were starting to cool down as I ate my salad. The positives are the portion sizes are very good! Ojo de Agua is a beautiful space--open, airy, and filled with natural light and greenery, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Abraham T ,gave us the worst service ever. He was rude from the start, even making a face when I said I only drink water. It was 8:30 pm on a Friday night, and I'm not sure if he just wanted to leave, but when we asked for dessert, he said they had none. We were disappointed and even joked with the busboy about it. He said he was going to ask the manager about it ...Moments later, Abraham came back saying it was his mistake and they did have desserts. Still, we felt rushed, like it was inconvenient for him to serve us, so we told him never mind--we'd go elsewhere for dessert. When it came time to pay, he didn't want us to see the bill and only handed us the card machine. I asked for the ticket and saw he had added gratuity. When questioned, he claimed he was "confused" and thought we were six people instead of five. On top of that, when we asked for separate checks, he rolled his eyes and sighed like it was a huge bother. As we left, there was a manager by the door ,we told her what happened. She said it was his last week there and offered us free food or discounts for next time. Honestly, I don't care about free food--I care about having a good dining experience. I reminded her we had called to reserve a table to avoid this kind of situation, and that I saw several unoccupied tables that I doubt were all "reserved" at the same time. When she realized she was being unreasonable, she finally asked if there was a table I wanted and I said yes. So we were finally seated at a better table. My friend arrived, we ordered our food, the server came around with a tray of bread presenting it to us to choose one, as if it were complimentary. So we chose a few to eat. Later they came by with more, and we selected a few more only to find out at checkout that we were being charged for every piece. It felt deceptive. We were not told in any way that we would be charged for them. We returned the few pieces of bread (about $7 for each piece) we had selected near the end of our meal. The food was pretty good (not the best) but good enough to where there were no complaints. I probably will not go back. Mole is such a special part of Mexican cuisine, and with so many types available, I expected more. On today's visit, I ordered pozole but was served what looked like chicken soup. When I mentioned it to my server, he quickly tried to fix it, which I appreciated, but what I got back was just broth with a few garnishes and barely any pozole. At that point, I decided to pay and leave. One of my fav spots in the city. Absolutely love the ambiance and energy of this restaurant. They recently updated the menu so they have some new stuff to try and recently got their liquor license so the cocktails are truly cocktails now. They have a variety of pastries from a local bakery as well. Tons of fresh juice options including cyo. You order upfront so be swift and grab a table when you walk in as they go fast on weekends. Parking can be along the side street if you're lucky. I had high hopes for Ooo De Agua after seeing it on IG, but the experience fell short. The space is beautiful, but service was disappointing from the start -- I wasn't greeted upon entry, waited nearly 10 minutes before even seeing a waiter, and overall felt like the staff was uninterested in providing attentive service. Food was just okay. My Pecan & Grape Salad with Salmon (sub sweet potato) came in a generous portion, but the salmon was overly salty. My friend's Ribeye Tacos looked great on the wood presentation, but the cut of meat wasn't enjoyable. Beautiful atmosphere, but lackluster service and underwhelming flavors mean I can officially cross this spot off my list. read more

Highly recommend the coconut banana smoothie it was so good and hydrating. They have organic food and vegan options. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Our server Frey I believe that was his name was personable and hilarious really gave us a boost after a long night out. He joked around with the table, bussed as he came by, and frequently brought items that elevated our meal. The 4 different salsas were exactly what we needed and there was a different spice level for everyone's need. They do have small tables which was our only complaint but other than that their aesthetic was earthy and unique. read more

As much as this place was so cute and fancy the food was not it, before we began to eat my friend found a hair in her chilaquiles, my breakfast sandwich was not good the croissant was so hard it it felt old. For the French toast it was okay but not the best because it was also a croissant and even with all the juice it was pretty hard to cut into. I really expected really good food because of the area it's in but it did not hit the spot, sorry but this is a no for me. Also there's nothing Mexican about this place. read more
