We had a great experience at Buenos Dias! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were huge--you definitely get your money's worth. The wait can be a little long, but it's completely worth it. My recommendation is to get your name on the waitlist and relax in your car until your table is ready, which made the wait much more convenient. We did have one small issue when I was served a dirty water cup, but our waiter handled it immediately and replaced it without any hesitation. Great customer service goes a long way, and we appreciated how quickly they made it right. Overall, the food, portions, and service made for a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

I am a little late on this Buenos Días Houston - Opening Week Visit. My granddaughter wanted to try Buenos Días Houston during opening week, so we braved the crowds. The estimated wait was an hour and a half, but we were seated in about 45 minutes. Parking is tight, but they offer valet once your table is ready, which helps. The menu is packed with fun and interesting options. Between the three of us, we sampled quite a bit -- the soft‑serve mimosa and the Cold Brew Cielo were awesome, and the food really shined. We ordered the chilaquiles with chicken and potatoes, the baked pancake with a side of chicken chorizo, and the breakfast eggrolls. I tasted everything, and it was all very tasty. Service was a little slow on a few items, but the place was extremely busy, and the staff stayed friendly and attentive. And one more thing, the decor is festive, interesting and also "nice clean bathrooms". Overall, I recommend this spot -- especially if you enjoy creative brunch dishes and don't mind a lively crowd.

I heard about their new restaurant on social media. Therefore, I was excited to try their food. This is my first time dining in at any of Dona Letis restaurants. I have ordered my food to go at their neighboring restaurant in the parking lot, but never ate inside due to the long wait. Walking in the customer service was great. Everyone from the hostess, waitresses, table bussers, valet, and HPD were very helpful and kind. The restaurant was clean and lively. My friends and I arrived at 10:20am and were told it would be an hour to an hour and half wait upon putting our name on the list. We contemplated leaving and going elsewhere for the longest before staying. While waiting what I didn't like was one person from a previous party that had dined in stayed and their remaining guest left. The remaining patron was joined by three new people that she knew. The waiter didn't say anything about them purposely skipping everyone that was waiting. He immediately served the new guest at the table where the first patron remained. They didn't have to wait like the rest of us so that was irritating and unfair of the patrons not being considerate of others. I know we are all excited to try the food and drinks. After, an hour wait in their small seating area near the bathrooms we were seated. Our waiter Britney came over immediately with water which I appreciated. She was friendly, happy, and informative. We ordered as soon as we sat down and the food came out within 10 minutes of us ordering. I appreciated the quick service. Britney even let us sample some of their frozen cocktails. I loved the frozen sangria and the orange juice soft serve mimosa. The OJ soft serve mimosa tasted like a spiked dreamsicle popsicle. It was so good. You could definitely taste the liquor in their drinks. You could feel it after a few minutes too. I ordered the stuffed chilaquiles w/carne asada and a regular coffee. My friends ordered the breakfast burrito, loaded plantains, the Abuelita's breakfast, and they each had a mimosa. The portion sizes of the food were large. The food came out hot and fresh. We each enjoyed our food. I really enjoyed the carne asada as it was seasoned very well. I just wish it was bigger. It was my first time having any type of chilaquiles and I was satisfied. I couldn't even finish my dish. I'd definitely try another dish if decide to return. For my food plus tip I paid $37.19. Cons is the parking is horrible, because they share the same parking lot as their sister restaurant Dona Letis. Valet is free, but tips welcome. Not a large waiting area and was told to wait in our cars due to too many people being in the restaurant. Very long wait times, no online reservation list, no phone number to contact in advance for putting name on reservation list, and small restaurant. Improvements: QR code paying sticker at each table or the paying monitors at tables like Chili's. (It took a minute for the waiter to come around for us to pay. Adding this feature would help customers leave quicker.) Dining time limits of 2hrs max and someone walking by telling tables of their time remaining like Grace's when they're busy. This would hopefully cut down on long wait times. I would love to dine in at their sister restaurant if they regulated patrons dining time. A bigger parking lot would really help, but other businesses surrounds the restaurant. Overall, we had a decent experience. I don't know if I'd be back anytime soon to wait so long to eat and deal with the parking at either restaurant. I'm glad I can say I tried it.

After a long night of work, me and my friend she wanted to come to buenos dias for breakfast so I told her sure I've been longing to try this place and thank God I did the food. The vibes was absolutely amazing. I started off with a soft serve mimosa, and when I say that thing was so good, I couldn't even eat it all because it was so delicious. And I had to save some for my daughter to try. Anyways, I will see the mighty quickly because I said at the bar, but when it comes to the bartender, I got my soft serve mimosa very quickly and I understand it's a very busy place, but it did take him a while so that I can order my food, but that's OK. I enjoyed it every little bit of it and I will be going back for more.

The hype is real folks. We took the drive from league city and it was worth it. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes but guarantee to be worth the wait. Also the portions are tx sz! It wasn't too loud so definitely a family friendly environment. I forgot the waiters name but he was top notch. Staff was friendly and they all seemed happy to be at work on a Friday morning. We'll definitely be back again.

I told my wife--I'd seen it in a Facebook reel--"Let's go there." I didn't even really look into it; I just thought, "She's going to love it." And sure enough... She said, "You don't usually like Salvadoran food, but this feels just like being at home." I said, "What are you talking about? This is Mexican food with a Salvadoran twist." We asked the staff if it was Salvadoran, Mexican, or Tex-Mex. Even without a reservation, we got in quickly--it had only been open for three days. lively atmosphere. Mmm, delicious!

I love Dona Leti's so I knew I would love Buenos Dias! We got there at opening. I do recommend if you can get up and early & go so, you can experience it. We tried the Breakfast Egg rolls! Bomb! I had the Tres Leches pancakes and the Cafe de Olla! Soooooo good! They give you a lot of food no matter what you get so be prepared to eat or take leftovers . Will be back to try something else! Oh and server was so sweet and very helpful showing us pictures of the meals.

Well we knew better than to go on the weekend, so we got up early Friday morning and headed over to avoid lines. I swear the parking lot looked bigger when it was Lubys but when all the spots filled..I guess it can always stand to be bigger! We walked in and were greeted by everybody! THEY WILL NOT SIT YOU WITHOUT FULL PARTY. There are no partial sittings.. so tell your folks no cp time. Bryan was our waiter. He was amazing. We sampled the soft serve and sangria... hey it real liquor in there! Lol! We ordered the eggrolls, croissants, burrito, Texas sandwich, deep skillet pancake, cinnamon coffee or something like that. Everything was great!!!! It came out smoking! That honey butter syrup... yasss!!! Pricing was pretty fair..although the croissants are over priced..may just stick with hebs for 98 cent. But other than that...no complaints. Wear stretchy pants! We will be back!

The breakfast was good, a little pricey. The parking lot is very small so parking may be a hassle but overall good food, great atmosphere, restrooms were clean and service was good as well for how busy it was.

Bueno Dias is nice. Some kinks ned to be worked out; however, the owner/manager was very accommodating. The temp. inside was too warm for me, but I would return.

    GANSITO Pancakes

The food was TREMENDOUS both me and my wife got the Chilaquiles with half red half green sauce, spice level for the sauces green 4/10 red 3/10 so if you don't like spicy food they're great for you!! The beef was so tender. The CAFE DE HOYA was so good my wife said it tasted like her grandmas CAFE DE HOYA!!! We also got the gansito pancakes and my GOD they were DELICIOUS. Food came out real fast and the server was real nice. The place has very clean restrooms and great Mexican style decorations around!! GREAT TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!

Parking is horrible what a waste driving this far to not find parking. Will try again in a few months when hype dies down.

Our server was super attentive and he made sure that everyone's food and drinks came out at the same time even if someone came in later. I had the nachos with beef fajita and chicken, and I thought it was pretty good, it has the same set up as nachos from Pappasito's and my only complaint was that I asked for a side of sour cream to go and was charged a dollar for it. So if anything keep in mind that if you request an extra or even a condiment on the side, you might get charged a small fee.

The food was under average. 2 of us had the Tilipia dish and the flavor was good but it was super salty. If the chef cut down on the salt it would be excellent. The vegetables on the dish were nice. We couldn't eat the fish even though we asked for extra lime so we can squeeze on it. The shrimps dish was over cooked so the shrimps were too dry. The steaks were barely OK But the appertizers were good. We had pupusas and the plaintain Service was nice but we had to flag down the manager since our server was no where to be seen.

I went there due to seeing their instagram story about a $10 meal deal (2 pupusas, a pastelito, and a soda) but they had run out of pastelitos so I had to quickly choose something so I'm thankful that they were happy to help answer any questions. It's a small food truck located in the same parking lot with Fiesta off Paton and Cavalcade so there's no seating or real space to eat (unless you eat in your car). They're also honest about the wait time. They said it would take 15-20 minutes and they didn't go over their time estimate. I have only had pupusas a handful of times (I'm from a small town in WA state that only had Mexican restaurants since only Mexicans lived there, so don't judge ) and can say these were the best I've had thus far. They were freshly made and piping hot when I got them (I had to put the bag down from my lap because it was too hot) and remained so throughout eating them. The cheese was gooey and stringy and their salsa has a nice little kick to it. It wasn't greasy or too salty which is always a plus. I ordered the revueltas (pork & cheese) and added beans to them. They are HUGE so be mindful when ordering them (they also taste better the next day if you have any leftover). These were definitely worth the price. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks if I know where they sell good pupusas. Let's just say I'll be going in again (they're so close to me). I hope y'all enjoy.

New favorite coffee/study spot in Houston! This place is (I…read morethink?) in Montrose area, and a gem with parking both in front (with spaces) and street parking available. The baristas/servers are so friendly, and the shop truly feels homey. Perfection for studying, with inside ample tables/chairs with nearby outlets as well as some comfy chairs and a couch. There's also a cute covered outside area which I'm sure I'll experience post summer time. They have a few yummy looking food options at a great price point - including tamales and baked pastries. I picked the chicken tamale as a light lunch - I got the most delicious chicken tamale I've had thus far, served with kettle crinkle chips and a tamale sauce to dip. There are many coffee/non coffee options. I opted for the iced horchata latte - agree with prior reviewers that this is delish. It is not too sweet and a great blend of vanilla and cinnamon that masks the espresso. The atmosphere here is cozy but focused, with a mixture of people working/studying and hanging out. 10/10 will be back.
