This is NOT the repair shop for you if you want: - Your car…read morefixed without them causing additional damage - Your repair to be fully completed in less than 8 months - Your phone calls to be answered or your voicemails returned The shop left my lights on for 4+ days after completing my repair which killed my car's battery. They took zero accountability for their mistake and I ended up footing the $200+ bill for a new battery. At first, they tried to have my insurance pay for it (original damage had nothing to do with the battery), then said it must have just been an old battery. They completely ignored the fact that their own employee left the lights on causing it to die in the first place. I was reluctant to write this because I was optimistic that they would take responsibility for their mistake and make it right. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Take your business elsewhere.

They repaired or replaced my passenger fender, front bumper, headlight, and mirror, as well as repainted everything seamlessly. Communication was excellent, with updates every couple of days to keep me informed--a level of service I truly appreciated as someone who is Type A and values organization and transparency. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. 10/10!

About a year later, a small rust spot appeared in the fender tire well. Even though I was working in Houston, TX at the time, Barney's went above and beyond to help me get the issue resolved at a local body shop near me. The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding -- they kept me informed every step of the way and made a potentially stressful situation completely hassle-free. I highly recommend Barney's Body Shop to anyone in need of quality auto body work backed by a team that truly stands behind their repairs. I will definitely be a returning customer

Jim and his team did some great…read morework for us a few years ago when we had a small bump with another car and didn't want to bother with insurance--he gave me some options and explained the differences and was super quick. That repair held up great. More recently, another fender bender and I was going through insurance and they recommended a different shop, but I didn't really agree or understand the other shop's guy, and I took it to Jim for a second opinion. Jim's estimate came in slightly lower but more importantly I felt like he was able to explain to me the different options clearly about either quitting the claim so it didn't get totaled or doing the salvage title or just getting the money and giving up the car. The car ended up getting totaled by insurance and we had Jim fix it to do a salvage retitle. Should have gone to Jim in the first place!

They have a super cute lobby at their Plain City location and they always have chilled drinks, coffee, and fresh baked goods. They offer loaner cars for certain services and I've never used that amenity personally, but the loaner vehicles in their lot look very nice and clean every time I see them! Even though I've moved throughout the years I still come back to ER because they're not judgy of my old decaying SUV, and they do their best to help. I can't speak to their pricing just because I honestly haven't had my car worked on anywhere else for big things. But they have coupons and I've always been able to afford their work!

Extremely disappointing experience. The biggest issue is that this shop charged me about $100 MORE…read morethan Tesla for the exact same replacement tire, including installation. An independent shop charging more than the Tesla dealership is absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse, the tire they installed started leaking air shortly after the installation. I brought it back, and they eventually found the leak at the bead. Instead of taking responsibility for a problem with the installation, they claimed my rim was cracked and tried to sell me a new rim, pointing to existing curb rash as the cause. I took it to Costco for a second opinion. They cleaned and resealed the bead, checked for leaks, and fixed the problem. No new rim was needed. On top of that, communication and turnaround time were extremely poor throughout the entire process. Paid more than Tesla, had a leak after their installation, and was then told I needed an expensive new rim when a simple bead reseal fixed the problem.
