I just recently heard about this place so was happy when we were in Olcott this past weekend & had the opportunity to go there. We arrived around 5:00 on Sunday. There was a long line waiting to get inside. Luckily it was a beautiful day & the crowd around us with friendly. Once inside our order was taken & we went out to the patio to wait for our food to be delivered. Again a bit of a wait. On to the food. Their speciality is lobster rolls. We ordered the lobster roll flight. It included the traditional New England roll, a hot Connecticut roll, and the Olcott Fire roll. This way we were able to try them all. They were loaded with huge chunks of tasty lobster. No skimping here. All worth the long wait!. My advise, try to avoid the busy main meal times. Or just sit back & enjoy your time near the lake while waiting. 2025-63

Cute place tucked in among other small business right at the head of entrance to Olcott. You can park along the main street, a small lot in front, the row of parking on Lockport St or park in the village and walk over. I arrived right around noon, the line was out the door and the patio full already...the doors had just opened! My goal for this mission was the lobster BLT I saw on their menu posted on Instagram. So far there doesnt appear to be a website, so following their social media is the way to go. Right now the process is fairly simple, the main entrance is the door between the other shops. Upon entry you'll walk up to the open kitchen and ordering counter. After placing your order your name will be taken and the food will be brought out to you. Currently there is only patio seating, most likely due to the seasonal nature of the area. After what seemed like a short wait, my food was nearly brought out to me. Although I would devour so many things, being a lobster lover I ordered only the lobster BLT. The lobster BLT is magic. Iceberg lettuce, tomato, bacon (perfect balance of crisp and fatty) between two well toasted slices of bread. This sandwich is magical. (The only thing to make it more magical would be a spread of Miracle Whip. I know! Im a salad dressing gurlie). But really, this sandwich needs nothing but a hungry person to consume it.

Absolutely delicious! Enjoyed everything we had (lobster roll flight, lobster bisque, and fried shrimp with handmade chips). Plenty of seating and relatively quick considering that it was busy. Well organized. Plenty of beverage options.

Connecticut Roll, lobster flight, homemade chips and Hawaiian slaw

This 5 star rating is on the food only.... IT WAS THE BEST LOBSTER IN NYS !!! The lobster was absolutely fantastic... I had the lobster flight ... Which includes: 3oz Maine lobster roll ( cold lobster ( like with mayo ) 3oz Connecticut lobster roll ( warm lobster roll with butter ) 3oz of lobster roll with Calabrian chilies- The homemade chips were good The Hawaiian slaw was good... If you want anything better, you'd have to go to the state of Maine... and you'd get the same thing...annnnd have to travel hundreds of miles to get it... Now let's talk about the restaurant.... 1st off, I'm not sure if this is actually a new place as I would have thought it's ... just an unknown place. There is no indoor seating... all outdoor... Which would have been nice but the Canadian wildfire smoke up north in olcott was a tad heavy, so it woulda been nice to eat inside... but there is no inside 2nd'ly .. the wait line was long, no shade... stood in line for 45 minutes just to get in the door, then you look at the menu on the wall and immediately order and pay right then and there at the register and walk outside to about a dozen mismatched outdoor tables, some with shade umbrellas , some not. Then you wait for the woman bringing food to you for another 20 minutes ( not too bad ) but she gave me anxiety watching her run around like a chicken with her head cut off.. I unfortunately had gone during peak lunch hours... ( when we left the establishment, I looked back ((3:30pm)) and there was no line ) But it was delicious... I gotta admit...lol . It was worth the wait in flavor alone... There was a two person band playing and that was great - it wasn't too loud... just enough to enjoy my meal... The price I paid for these lobster meals was appropriate for what we got - definitely in line with the standard cost of lobster. I was a little puzzled as where the restaurant was because I could not find a sign, so look for the small ferris wheel on the left side of main st and it's right there. I did get a punch card, three punches down, nine to go and I get a free meal!!!!

This restaurant popped up on my FB feed, had to come check it out. Very cute little place with outdoor seatings only. You order at the counter, they bring the food out. Menu is almost all lobster related, some shrimp. Sides with tater tots, chips and slaw. I got the lobster rolls flight to try all three types of lobster rolls, Maine, Connecticut and Olcott (spicy). I also got the Hawaiian slaw, coleslaw with pineapple chucks. Each lobster rolls in the flight has 3 oz meat, if order just one roll, it has 5 oz meat. They didn't skimp on the meat at all. All freshly made after you order. All tasted delicious. Service is friendly and quick. They open at noon, I got there at 11:38, and I was the 5th, at 11:50, there were more than 30 in line. It's not a place you linger, so it moved pretty fast. Parking can be in the lot by the restaurant or in town. They charge an extra fee for using a credit card to pay. Menu prices are for paying with cash.

Super cute place with excellent lobster rolls. Lines are usually long but they move fast. Prices are very good. Highly recommend the lobster roll flight.

My wife, daughter, and I drove up to Olcott Lobster Company for the first time yesterday. It was a nice 40 minute ride up there on a beautiful late summer day! We found parking and joined the very active line which moved along steadily. A pleasant young staff member brought out copies of the menu for us to look over prior to ordering. We waited in line for 30-35 minutes before placing our order. We were given "beeper" device and found a table on the back patio area. The 15-20 minutes for our order to come out passed quickly as we chatted and listened to a really nice pane that was playing on the corner, so visitors on both patios could hear. Our food was delivered to our table by a friendly young lady who was eager for us to try it. My wife and daughter enjoyed their Connecticut Rolls as much as I loved my Lobster Roll Flight (New England Style (cold with mayo), Connecticut Roll (warm and buttery), and Olcott Fire Roll (warm and buttery with Calabrian peppers)). We also enjoyed their Connecticut Rolls sides that we tried which included the House Made Chips with Old Bay Dusting, the Hawaiian Slaw (SO GOOD!), and the Tator Tots (deep fried with a nice crunch and tender potato center). Thank you, Olcott Lobster Co., for bringing a little bit of New England to this beautiful area. You have done an incredible job in your debut year for absolutely nailing the feel and flavor that I would expect to find in a coastal New England hot spot. We will be back before you close for the season!

Service was outstanding. Little ambiance. Food not so great, left much to be desired, not worth the high prices.

My son devoured the entirety of his fish and chips, and it was a huge fillet. I had golden beer battered shrimp. The shrimp was plump and perfectly cooked. The batter is light and tasty. No honey mustard if that's what you like for your salad (fries for me). My son and husband really liked the Carolina gold sauce the kitchen recommended as an alternative. It's good and has a similar tang, just not for me. The ranch was solid. They have a limited beer and wine selection. We didn't notice they had a bar for mixed drinks until after the fact. The menu says they will offer local wines soon, which I like to see (and prefer to order) at local establishments. Service was excellent. The restaurant is bright and open with a subtle blue nautical theme. Comfortable booths. We'll be back.

They recently changed their menu and now offer one of my favorites: Chicken Cordon bleu. Loved it the first time I ordered it and so far, haven't disappointed. Their clam chowder is delicious and you know it is clams...you can find them in their cup...not like some other places I go where you aren't sure it really is clam chowder. Service is friendly and if you go there enough, the servers know what you like to drink and are ready for you when you get in. Loved their bourbon bacon burger too. It is a casual place and children are welcomed and it is handicapped accessible. Lovely little entry way, too.

Stormin' Crab offers their blue crabs one of two ways: Either added as a side to any boil (topped with your favorite seasonings), or served as a fried crab basket. The oyster appetizer (sold as six or twelve) can be raw or grilled. I adore them raw, and these are Bluepoints! They were plump, glistening, and had a great sweet and briney flavor. My husband's gumbo was thick with rice and andouille sausage, with baby shrimp. It also had a powerful black pepper kick. Very tasty! The boil arrived on a stainless steel platter in a large plastic bag, ballooned out with steam. We had chosen the butter, medium spicy. We ordered the cajun mix for crawfish and snow crab and garlic butter snow crab. All the boils are doused full of butter flavored oil (not real butter) which didn't allow for any flavor to reach your tongue or the meat. I may be spoiled with real Louisiana and Texas crawfish and seafood boils but the oil was so unpleasant. The crawfish was oily, flavorless, and tasted dirty. The crab was probably presalted and just reheated in the boil. I asked for some cajun seasoning and salt to sprinkle on top but there was just too much oil. I am disappointed with this type of boil and hope I can find a more traditional type with no oil somewhere in Buffalo.
