This is such a cute winery! My girls and I loved coming here so much that I had to leave a review! The After Choc was my favorite to try. It was very rich but the chocolate flavor didn't take over the fact that its wine! The best dessert in a glass. The service was good very knowledgeable of the wines and they answered most of our questions if they didn't know they'd find out. They get busy on weekends so call in advance or just try your luck to get a seat! They also have a speakeasy room for pics and board games and merchandise for the guests! Its a great place for a date, girls night, solo time. Check out their social media for events! #Old502 #502Wine

Nice little winery. The staff was fun and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time while we were there.

We were staying in Louisville for the day. We stopped here to try this winery out. At first I thought the tasting was free but they were not. Maybe $6 for 6 tastings. All of the wine that we tried was good. You sat down where you wanted, provided a list of wines and chose what you wanted to sample. The young man was so nice, validated what you had and poured the wine. He would tell you about the wine, where it originated from etc; We shared a glass of wine each. We purchased several bottles to go. Loved the winery. Prices were reasonable. He said they been in existence for 10 years and only been at this location since April. It's tucked away on a one way street and easy to miss it.

I came here for an event on 12/18 to celebrate a new journey with a company called MIG - Mighty in good. An all organic, chemical-free skincare line. The founder Jamie came in town from Colorado and we had a large group of people come out for this event. The venue was absolutely beautiful, decorated so nicely. There were a couple bartenders that did a great job serving everyone their cocktails. Such a beautiful establishment and would be perfect for such events. I enjoyed my time here, as it was my first time. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a nice modern location for their corporate or personal get-togethers.

    Private wine tasting for bachelorette

Cannot say enough good things! Shop opened early to provide our bachelorette party with a private tasting with one of the managers. Could not have been more fun and hospitable. Wines for purchase ~15/ bottle and worth that price. BE CAREFUL when typing 502 winery into the Uber app. Uber accidentally went to old location instead of the new warehouse at 915 Liberty.

The winery needs to pull down the prices for their bottles of wine on their web site because I bought a bottle that advertised for $10.99 and when the bill arrive later it was $25.00 a bottle. I was told that fall city and parlour bought the place and those were old prices. that to me was very deceiving and that need to update their website and the prices. The wine was good but believe me it's not a $25 bottle of wine.

    Not wine... glass half empty.

No longer a cute winery, go to their website... no slushies,no tastings and this is super sad. Another Covid cluster, be glad when the world rights itself. Is now just an afterthought inside Falls City Brewery. Only save here was they have sours at the brewery. They did have two bottles for sale...... so much for this excitement. THEY TOLD ME, you should read their website.

If you're in Louisville, please check out this spot!! The service was great and I learned a lot about the wine!! It's such a cute spot!!

View from the tasting counter. I couldn't find anything posted about the requirement for an ID.

This was the last winery of my birthday tour, and while we enjoyed the wine, the stop was the least enjoyable. One sister did not have an ID with her and the establishment refused to let her taste even though she was obviously over 21. I understand places have rules, but nothing I saw on their website or elsewhere indicated an ID was a requirement so it was a rude surprise. The next disappointment came when another employee started work in the middle of the tasting and wanted us to pay before we were finished. After having so much fun with the employees at the earlier tastings, the employees here were quite rude. Upon reading other reviews after posting this, it appears several people have experienced rude employees here. Wish I had read these reviews before going! Because I like the wines, I won't quit buying them, but I will not return to this tasting room unless I hear they hire employees who are more friendly and hospitable!

I was anxious to try this urban wine-tasting venue I found only one of the wines to my liking, the Bourbon Barrel Red. Despite this, I highly recommend everyone try the wines for themselves, as palates vary! The space is unique with a heavy urban ambiance. There is plenty of seating and the staff provided very attentive service. The wine is priced very reasonably and we took a couple of bottles of the Bourbon Barrel Red home. There are some wine-themed t-shirts and other items for purchase too. I can see this being a fun place to hang with some wine-loving friends.

Old 502 Winery is such a cool experience. For people coming to visit or for people who live here, I urge you to visit! Not only do they have wine tastings (obviously), they also offer beer flights! The wine tasting includes 6 choices for $8! WHAT A GOOD DEAL. The pours are not your average tiny pours, so it is worth it if you've never tried 502 wines! Now that it has become just a tasting room, they no longer have a full menu. They do however offer a meat and cheese tray as well as popcorn. Not the best choices, but it's something! The space is large and open so it's nice for groups and a fun day out! That being said, they definitely need to have more workers staffed. It took a while to get through the tasting because they only had one woman working the entire floor. She was AMAZING, but it would have been more beneficial for everyone if they would have had more staff available.

What a wild disappointment. I do believe we came on and an off day, based on reviews and…read morerecommendations from friends, but our experience was so wildly unacceptable that I'm not sure it matters if we were an outlier. Our experience started at parking, there were multiple tour busses idling in the lot, and cars were parked rather haphazardly. We were directed to park on the side of the road with such a steep drop off, at one point our Yukon had two wheels off the ground. When checking in to the the $35/person tour (which we booked two weeks ago) I mentioned the parking situation and was told "yeah it's really bad, but we're working on it." I don't own a distillery, but seems an obvious solve is asking the tour buses to park up the road by the gift shop vs taking up space in the lot. We were eager to join our tour and forget about the stressful lot but alas, our tour was an absolute shit show. I stopped counting when I hit to 50 people, our tour guide had a loud speaker, most people in the tour were drunk and talking over him, and for the first time in many many tours, we walked off before we ever got a chance to try anything. There is no reason but greed to not cap a tour, they were making close to 2 grand off a miserable experience for their guests. Again, I do think it was likely an outlier but we will never be back, and I will ensure no one I know ever goes either.

They have a small tasting room, and if you're a sweet wine lover--this is definitely your place. My favorite is the Bella Rose... so good! They do have some dry options, but their sweet and more "exotic" wines really stand out. The wine tasting is such a great deal--only $10 for 6 options, and they even give you a little cup of Goldfish to snack on between tastings (which is actually perfect). They also have a larger space for events, and my friends and I did their spring mat decorating event--it was SO fun and such a cute experience. The only downside was seating for the event--we didn't realize there was a specific process for reserving spots together, so we almost didn't get to sit as a group. Luckily it worked out when someone nearby didn't show up. Overall, such a fun, relaxed spot with great vibes. I'll definitely be back!
