Matcha with pistachio and rose syrup
    Michelle N.

I got a pistachio and rose oat matcha latte which was pretty good! The only downside was how expensive it was, I understand charges for syrup and alternative milk but it came out to over $8. They also charge more for unsweetened matcha just an FYI. They have their own parking lot which is nice, especially since it's downtown!

The coffee tastes great , amazing staff and fantastic vibe and music. This is a real gem and you have to try it.

I'm pretty sure I heard about Millcreek Coffee Roasters on the City Cast Salt Lake podcast-and I take their recommendations seriously. So when a friend wanted to meet up for coffee, I suggested this place. It's downtown, just a whisper's distance from the Trax station, which makes it even more attractive. Next time, I'll ride the train since I was a doofus and parked in the lot to the south instead of the lot to the north like everyone else. When I left, I gasped as I noticed that I had to navigate around several barriers to get into that parking lot. What was I thinking? I'm just glad I wasn't towed. Anyway, no fault of the coffee shop, just a patron not paying attention. Once inside, I was drawn in by the aroma of freshly roasted beans...and I was able to watch the giant roasters from our table, such a neat thing to see! I enjoyed a simple black coffee-nothing fancy, but it was delightful. The menu has lots of offerings ranging from breakfast sammies to unique drinks. I look forward to returning and exploring some of them.

The place has a nice vibe to it and the staff is very friendly. There are a good number of seating options for you to dine inside or even outdoors. Even though it was breakfast time, I ordered a lunch sandwich (ham and Swiss) and lemonade because I was hungry. The sandwich did not disappoint! In fact it had a lot more flavor than I anticipated. I would definitely order it again. I wanted to order a pastry but those sweets were large and I knew I would not be able to eat it all with my meal but I hope to come again soon and try them.

This cool coffee shop next to the Trax station is one of the best in this area. I tried the food, and it was good, as their coffee has a great roasting flavor.great customer service.

Friendly cafe and good quality drinks here in SLC. I stopped by as it's conveniently located across the street from the mechanic. It was busy at 8:30am on a Saturday! Plenty of seating and probably a good place to study or do work if you're into that. Cold brew, latte and bagel were all tasty. I had the kickin' bagel (but changed it to provolone cheese) and it was tasty.

Stopped in for a latte and quick bite before we got back on the road to CA. I usually get a doppio at every coffee shop I go to to try their coffee and a latte. Firstly I ordered a 12 oz extra hot latte for here, it came in a coffee MUG(more than 12oz like 16oz, and all it was was a coffee drowning in milk, yuck! Latte short cups were available, but not used. My friend ordered the same and asked for it to be for here in a ceramic cup(the only way I'll drink my coffee) and they brought it out in a paper cup and then apologised and instead of remaking it, just poured it into a ceramic mug. We ordered a sandwich and I got the magaritsld flat bread. The doppio was terrible(coffee didn't taste good),I the margaritas flat bread was doable for a coffee shop. I had higher experience from this place because they call themselves Coffee Roasters which they actual roast their coffee at the back. The latte & doppio was terrible and not served right. If you in the business of selling coffee and such, learn how to serve it and learn the terms associated with each. I basically through half of my Latte away because all I tasted was milk. I won't be returning.

This place is close by and conveniently right by the 600 S trax stop. It's easy to grab a coffee and commute. I got an iced latte and a pastry. Both were really good and a decent price point. I liked how they could make any drink on the menu iced. Seating inside was ample and they had some tables outside in the grass under some shaded trees. Overall, this is a pretty good place and extremely convenient for commuters.

    Avocado Toast on Sourdough

Quiet environment, kind staff, incredible coffee and food. The avocado toast on sourdough was fantastic.

Impressive customer service, well rounded menu with great gluten free options. The vibe is immaculate! I really am impressed by how welcoming the whole place was! They also had a gorgeous collection of house plants and they have a fabulous rewards program for free drinks (comparable to Starbucks) I got a lavender oatmilk latte HOT. It was delish and I got cute latte art in it!

Milkcreek is a great little coffee shop in the heart of Salt Lake City. They make a great lox bagel with goat cheese, order extra capers and they won't disappoint! Several other menu items available and all the regular coffee drinks. A great place to start your day!

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! Lots of choices.

Thankfully, no reservation was needed but it was still really busy. We were able to get seating next to the window; however I do wish the spacing between tables were a little bit bigger, as it feels like everyone's in each other's conversations and forces you to be friends with your neighbors. Not ideal when you're on a date night or trying to be intimate with someone. For drinks, we were interested in trying something before ordering a bottle or a glass. I didn't realize that for a wine sampling like that, it was $3 bucks... We got just a glass, and I went for a custom cocktail. ON the bill, they call it a "bar roulette," and that ran me $20 bucks... yesh, but ok!!! Dinner choices for us were the Clam Chowder & Wagyu Steak. The claim chowder presentation was definitely unexpected as it didn't resemble a Soup as expected. The changing of menus so I was good and I was good to see a couple things still there, but also familiar with some of the new stuff that I saw being delivered did leave me scratching my head.

Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and exactly the right amount of present (if you know what I mean). I enjoyed the maitake on rice with cashew cream and it was delicious. The salty mushrooms were mellowed by the chewy rice. The cashew cream gave a nice variation in texture. I didn't leave a morsel behind. The harissa carrots were nice as well. They are cooked soft and have a moderate spice level that is again contrasted by the mild labneh and tahini base. I had to save the rolls with herb better for last. Oh. My. God. These were divine. I'm a sucker for bread of any kind but these are what the Hawaiian dinner rolls wish they could be. They are perfectly pillowy and the herb butter just elevates them. Do not miss these for more "sophisticated" fare. If I lived here, I would definitely come back. Everything was considered and well-executed. Bravo

Like many people, we were excited to dine at a restaurant led by a chef who has beaten Bobby Flay. We arrived for our 8:15 p.m. reservation and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, from that point on, the service became increasingly confusing. Our server seemed flustered from the beginning and even commented that she wanted to make sure everything was right for our experience. When ordering drinks, I asked for a root beer and was told they had one. A few minutes later I was informed they actually didn't and was given a Dr Pepper instead. No big deal--I didn't want to make an issue of it. The bigger problems started with the food service. There were three of us. Two ordered the filet, and one ordered the chicken. The first entrées brought to our table weren't ours at all and had to be taken away. When our actual meals arrived, they were still mixed up. I was served the chicken despite ordering the filet. The same thing happened with dessert. We ordered two Baked Alaskas and one Lemon Cake. Again, the desserts were delivered to the wrong people. These weren't major issues individually, but when they happen repeatedly throughout one meal, it takes away from what should have been an outstanding dining experience. Now for the positive... The kitchen absolutely delivered. The filet was cooked perfectly. The chicken was outstanding. Presentation was beautiful. The Baked Alaska was one of the best I've had. The food easily earns five stars. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience did not. To make matters worse, after I finished the Dr Pepper that I hadn't originally ordered, my glass sat empty for roughly 45 minutes. No refill was offered, and I eventually had to ask for another beverage while dessert was being served. One final observation... The receipt included an optional surcharge for the back-of-house staff. I understand it could be removed upon request, but I don't believe guests should be placed in the position of deciding how restaurant employees are compensated. Pay your team well, price the menu accordingly, and let guests simply enjoy their meal. Urban Hill has one of the most talented kitchens I've experienced in quite some time. If the service can reach the same level as the food, this restaurant would easily deserve five stars.

Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy.
