Publik kitchen is a cute little dine in restaurant on 9th&9th. The coffee is amazing not too acidic and the people are very kind. Their food is really good too! Not the place to study, though they do have coffee shops located elsewhere. Parking is a little tough since it is street parking, but there are neighborhoods that you can walk from.

Publik has a cool modern feel and classic menu. The homemade sausage is a must-order--perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I also had the granola, which was crunchy and lightly sweet, and the hash, which was hearty and satisfying. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. Great food, cool atmosphere. Staff were very kind and service was fast!

Drink special: honey blueberry matcha iced 16oz very matcha flavored good not to sweet which I don't mind !

This place is always an amazing place they always have a good energy and vibe going there and the workers are always friendly. The food is always really good and enjoyable as well as the drink bar area they have for the teas and coffees that they make ! Always a recommended spot for a cute little brunch date or even just a spot to catch up with someone.

I came to get breakfast in here. I know their coffee is really good, so I also wanted to give their food a try. Their brunch is good. I tried their toast and gravy, which was ok, and the burger was good. I also got the French toast, which was ok. I'm just going to stick to their coffee.

Delicious food and coffee beverages in a wonderfully airy establishment. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can go alone or with a group. So many yummy and unique choices to get your day started great!

BLT with side of salad. Added a cup of tomato basil soup and two sunny side up eggs. Perfect match for a perfect brunch.

Ordered the BLT with the salad, an extra side of a cup of soup (tomato basil bisque) and two sunny side up eggs. Perfect. The BLT had crispy and generous amounts of bacon, the toast was crunchy from embedded grains, and their Amour tomato jam tied everything together with sweet and umami notes. Dip it with a side of tomato basil bisque or a runny yolk from a side of sunny-side up eggs. Coffee was also great, I ordered a cappuccino to start off while waiting for the food. Great service, waiters don't bug you too much during the meal; coming back for sure.

A great spot for breakfast in the 9th and 9th area! Publik Kitchen is a cute, chic place where the coffee selection is huge and the food is as aesthetic as it is delicious. Our server, Britt, was happy to recommend their most popular breakfast dishes and I decided on the Publik Breakfast with bacon and Strawberry Rhubarb jam with my toast. I'm obsessed with the bread they source from a local Park City bakery called Red Bicycle Breadworks. Their bread makes the best toast. I loved that as a Publik Coffee shop fan, I could order my favorite, the Browned Butter Caramel Latte, all while enjoying the Publik Kitchen breakfast. Highly recommend this place!

I got the veggie sandwich and a mimosa, both were really delicious and worth the price. The service was courteous and relaxed and quick. The bathrooms are also so clean and well stocked. Their powdered soap is a nice plus, my hands felt so clean

First, a note to the owner - please pick different music. No one wants to listen to Toxic, Soulja Boy, Forever by Chris Brown, and EDM remixes for Sunday brunch. Don't get me wrong, good music, wrong time and place. Arrived at 10:20 am and ended up waiting almost 45 minutes. But if you arrive before 9am and after 11am you can usually be seated faster. Don't skip on the coffee, Publik roasts their own coffee, and the baristas are always on point! We ordered the breakfast sandwich w/ bacon, breakfast burrito w/ bacon, and French toast. The Breakfast Sandwich was sorely disappointing, reminiscent of a fast food chain, lacking in both flavor, originality, and substance... and house potatoes were under cooked. The Breakfast Burrito was actually quite spicy! But pretty packed full and had good flavor and texture, however the side salad it came with is only mixed greens with some dressing (so get the potatoes). The French Toast was by far the highlight of the meal, thick pieces with a delicious cinnamon butter on the side. Overall, pretty over hyped. But the service was great.

When you're looking for a cute place to have delicious coffee at Publik Kitchen will not disappoint! Went on a Saturday afternoon. They were not too busy, but did let us know they were behind and it would be a bit to get our drinks and food, which it did. The brown butter latte was amazing!!!! My favorite now. I ordered the special bread pudding, I was disappointed, wasn't the bread pudding I was expecting that you would get at most places, that is warm and gooey. This to me seemed more like a scone. Cold. I had a side of breakfast potatoes, that was pretty decent and a good portion. My friend ordered a decaf latte and that looked good. She got the veggie burrito, that was mainly just tortilla, a disappointment as well. She got a side of buttered toast she liked and a side of potatoes. Overall, entree itself wasn't that great, but coffee and side potatoes were good!

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! Lots of choices.

Wow! What a fantastic dining experience. My mom and I were…read morein town for a few days and a local bartender recommended Urban Hill. The interior has a classy but not overdone ambiance. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and exactly the right amount of present (if you know what I mean). I enjoyed the maitake on rice with cashew cream and it was delicious. The salty mushrooms were mellowed by the chewy rice. The cashew cream gave a nice variation in texture. I didn't leave a morsel behind. The harissa carrots were nice as well. They are cooked soft and have a moderate spice level that is again contrasted by the mild labneh and tahini base. I had to save the rolls with herb better for last. Oh. My. God. These were divine. I'm a sucker for bread of any kind but these are what the Hawaiian dinner rolls wish they could be. They are perfectly pillowy and the herb butter just elevates them. Do not miss these for more "sophisticated" fare. If I lived here, I would definitely come back. Everything was considered and well-executed. Bravo

We were visiting Salt Lake City from out of town and decided to have dinner at Urban Hill after…read morereading the outstanding reviews. Like many people, we were excited to dine at a restaurant led by a chef who has beaten Bobby Flay. We arrived for our 8:15 p.m. reservation and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, from that point on, the service became increasingly confusing. Our server seemed flustered from the beginning and even commented that she wanted to make sure everything was right for our experience. When ordering drinks, I asked for a root beer and was told they had one. A few minutes later I was informed they actually didn't and was given a Dr Pepper instead. No big deal--I didn't want to make an issue of it. The bigger problems started with the food service. There were three of us. Two ordered the filet, and one ordered the chicken. The first entrées brought to our table weren't ours at all and had to be taken away. When our actual meals arrived, they were still mixed up. I was served the chicken despite ordering the filet. The same thing happened with dessert. We ordered two Baked Alaskas and one Lemon Cake. Again, the desserts were delivered to the wrong people. These weren't major issues individually, but when they happen repeatedly throughout one meal, it takes away from what should have been an outstanding dining experience. Now for the positive... The kitchen absolutely delivered. The filet was cooked perfectly. The chicken was outstanding. Presentation was beautiful. The Baked Alaska was one of the best I've had. The food easily earns five stars. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience did not. To make matters worse, after I finished the Dr Pepper that I hadn't originally ordered, my glass sat empty for roughly 45 minutes. No refill was offered, and I eventually had to ask for another beverage while dessert was being served. One final observation... The receipt included an optional surcharge for the back-of-house staff. I understand it could be removed upon request, but I don't believe guests should be placed in the position of deciding how restaurant employees are compensated. Pay your team well, price the menu accordingly, and let guests simply enjoy their meal. Urban Hill has one of the most talented kitchens I've experienced in quite some time. If the service can reach the same level as the food, this restaurant would easily deserve five stars.

Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. I remark every single time about how quick they are to serve us our food. They have remembered my family and bring us our drinks without even needing to ask. Their food is delicious, and we appreciate the authenticity. If you haven't been, and aren't near by to partake in their amazing food regularly, you HAVE to try the Philly asada omelet. You won't regret it!! I saw a comment about the restaurant being dark, but the lighting seems great. Anything much brighter would probably upset my eyes, especially early in the morning (as that's when we typically go). Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family.
