Local spot that is cozy, warm, and always a good meal. I came here with my book club and they were gracious enough to give us individual checks, which I know is such a pain for places to do, and it was much appreciated. I had a clam and chorizo appetizer which was very tasty, then the fish and chips for my entree. I've had the fish and chips here before, but this time was a miss. The breading was still wet and not fried through, so that was disappointing, but everyone else enjoyed their meals. For dessert I had a brownie sundae which was super delicious. Definitely will be back soon!

Perfect stop for a cozy winter dinner. We sat in the bar area. Nice fireplace, friendly service, great food, great music. Can't go wrong. Caesar salad is a must.

Good old neighborhood meeting place with fine dining to cozy comfort food by the fire. Great place into spend with our family and friends on a cold rainy night. Cocktails and dinner were awesome, as always over the years!

Stopped in here one day. Loved the ambiance, the friendly wait staff. My waitress was extremely knowledgeable and knew all the specials and details of the specials off the top of her head. Good was great. I would definitely recommend the Bulgogi Popcorn Chicken. It had nice kick to it and was extra crispy. It is an appetizer but the portion size is for a full meal. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely revisit.

We got a booth table and just soaked inthe vintage decor, think 1959. We loved it and we felt right at home. Our server was attentive and we had the special that night which were really good. Plated beauty and tasted delicious. They let us take our time it's a busy place. We will be back soon .

Been here many times for both lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. Portions are large and well cooked, service is attentive, atmosphere is cozy and the restaurant is very well kept and clean. My only negative comment is that it is a bit pricey for what it is but if you do not mind shelling out $22.95 for a burger at lunchtime you'll love it here

Old Fields is as classic and comfortable as a warm sweater, and the food is impeccable. I love the old-school tavern vibe, and the steaks are out of this world. When I first went this year with my wife and friends, I had the Flatiron steak with original 1956 marinade. I enjoyed a solo dinner recently by the fireplace, and wanted to try one of the other steaks, and the knowledgeable waiter recommended the marinated skirt steak, which was so good I finished every last bite. The fried pickles, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach are amazing too. Cocktails are terrific, I've had a strong and gorgeous Manhattan, and an exemplary bourbon and prosecco cocktail whose name escapes me. Anyway, Old Fields is wonderful.

So for years I've driven past Old Fields and never stopped in and that was a mistake!! What a great meal we had to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. From the second we walked in I LOVED the ambiance, the old tavern feel and the cocktails were delicious. Staff was outstanding as was the starter...we entree was delicious and the portions were more then enough on everything. We've been missing out and now we know....

The hostess asked if we were celebrating anything, and when we told her it was our anniversary, she surprised us with a handwritten card waiting at our table that read, "Happy Anniversary! Thank you for celebrating your milestone with us." It was such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel genuinely welcomed. The waterfront setting is absolutely stunning. We timed our reservation perfectly for sunset, and between the sailboats, glowing sky, and beautifully lit trees, it felt like something out of a movie. The outdoor patio is one of the most beautiful dining settings I've experienced on Long Island. We started with the crab cake, which was packed with fresh lump crab and lightly seasoned so the quality of the seafood really shined. The crispy exterior paired perfectly with the creamy remoulade. Every bite was delicious. The service was attentive, friendly, and never rushed. Our server made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening, and every staff member we encountered helped make our celebration feel special. It's rare to find a restaurant that combines exceptional food, incredible views, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality so effortlessly. Prime Steakhouse delivered on all of it. We'll absolutely be back, and I can't recommend it enough for a date night, anniversary, or any special occasion. Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary so memorable. It's the little touches--like that handwritten card--that turn a great meal into an unforgettable experience.

It was incredibly chewy, with no intramuscular fat, a light sear, and absolutely zero of the beefy intensity you'd expect from dry-aged steak. I cooked better shit as a 24-year-old bachelor buying $4 steaks from King Kullen. With almost no effort and $20, I would have destroyed this. Do better, especially if you're going to charge what you do. See the attached photo. It looks like tuna, but that's the steak. Also yea I ate it all bc I'm fat and it cost 80 bucks, not because it was good.

As a true connoisseur, you know that the distance traveled is often a small price to pay for culinary perfection. Making the trek from Brooklyn was a pilgrimage that paid off in every bite. Dining at this establishment is less of a meal and more of a choreographed performance where every ingredient plays its part to perfection. Several dishes merit special mention. The evening began with a Watermelon Salad that redefined refreshment. Each vibrant cube of melon arrived with a crisp, crystalline texture, cleverly balanced by salty flourishes and herbal notes that felt like a cool breeze on a humid evening. It was followed by the Sweet Chilli Shrimp, a dish that struck a delicate chord between fire and honey. The shrimp were plump and oceanic, draped in a glaze that hummed with a sophisticated, creeping heat. Then came the crescendo: the steaks. The Wagyu was an absolute masterclass in decadence, possessing a buttery marble that seemed to dissolve upon contact, leaving behind a rich, lingering umami. In contrast, the Ribeye offered a more rugged, soul-satisfying experience--perfectly charred, deeply flavorful, and dripping with an earthy intensity that only the finest cuts can achieve. To close, the Floating Island and Tiramisu were a dream rendered in sugar and air. Beyond the words, just weightless finale to an otherwise powerful gastronomic journey. With a party of four, the portions were quite generous. We even had leftovers to take home and revisit the exceptional flavors the next day." Whether you are coming from around the corner or making the drive from Brooklyn, IMC delivers a level of hospitality and flavor that makes every mile worth it. Try it - you won't regret the trip. I. I reserved ahead of time for my husbands birthday just for the two of us and let them know that and asked for an intimate/quiet table. They took that to heart. We got a great table in the back corner where we could both sit next to each other on the booth seat. They also put a candle in the tiramisu we ordered. He had chicken parm, it was a big portion. He said it was good but he would probably get steak next time as we saw it at the table next to us and it looked amazing. I got the cacio e pepe. So delicious. We shared the French fries, house bread and fingerling potatoes. So so delicious. The aioli with the fries was flavorful, the butter with the house bread was delicious. Our drinks were strong and wonderful. I got the Ms Loren for the cucumber and he got the honey bourbon which is not normally my type but it was so smooth. The tiramisu was delicious. We would definitely go again. There's a lot of indoor seating and very cute outdoor seating. There's valet parking but we ended up parking on the street a block up. I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon
