They took forever to come back to us and when they did return, they only gave us one shoe. When I asked if my son could please try on the other shoe, they told me no. They said they had to grab the box and that he could try only 1 on at a time. When I asked how they expected us to know if the shoes fit appropriately with one shoe, they didn't really have an answer. Again, we asked if he could please try on both the shoes so he could walk around and make sure they were a good fit. They refused, saying it was a store policy because someone stole shoes they were trying on once. I had $300 worth of merchandise I wanted to purchase from this store as well as said shoes. They sales people walked around, stalking us as if we were going to steal the whole time. Not a great shopping experience. They also had barely any sizes. I won't shop here again. I'd be curious to know who put this policy in place... maybe they need a security guard instead of making all customers feel like crooks.

While I have found a lot of cute stuff at this Goodwill because I've been shopping there for years,…read moreI can't rate it too high because of their prices and policies. Policy wise, other reviewers are correct, they do not give you details on what can and cannot be returned until after purchase. I've often found they also don't tell people that items can also only ever be returned for store credit, so you can never actually get your money back. To add insult to injury, that store credit also expires, so be ready to use it within the 30 days they give you or you're just forfeiting your money. If you can vibe with their policies, they do get some nice stuff in, unfortunately they have taken to pricing things as though they are a curated antique store and not, you know, Goodwill. I have seen scuffed dressers that are missing a handle and have trim held on by tape being sold for $80, which means they price out a lot of the community who need them most. Overall, I'll go back because I like to treasure hunt, but I spend a lot more time at garage sales and estates now because the prices are just silly for buying someone else's used items 90% of the time.

This much inventory necessitates a lot of inventory control folks, and the prices seem to reflect that. Not much that I wanted, but my wife and her mother did quite a bit of shopping. The checkout process uses the same as Marshalls: one long queue with multiple registers at the end.
