ThIs location just came under new management and today we went there for Black Friday and we were pleasantly surprised. I usually stay away from Old Navy during the holidays because the lines are so long and so slow! Today was great it wrapped around as usual, but there was a Supervisor in the cash register area making sure everything was running smoothly and the manager was on the floor helping customers and straightening the clothes. I went to old navy during their denim sale and I got helped by the sweetest girl, I think her name was Neela. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the fits and sizes of the jeans. This place is rude 20 minutes before closing they decide to turn off half the lights and then the music, I myself am in retail and I understand the need to want to hurry up and go home but we would get in so much trouble for doing what they did! I love Old Navy. The clothes are well designed to rival trends and fresh enough to last the next season. You can find cashmere and alpaca mixed into the textiles of their sweaters and pay a price comparible to Target and Wal-Mart. For more excellent tailoring, GAP and Banana Republic comes to mind. But I would recommend Old Navy for those without Fashion experience and for those who do. This is my favorite old navy store! Its big, organized, well-stocked, great location.. its all good!

The clothes are cute, affordable, fit well, and pretty good quality. They offer special savings for those who sign up with and Old Navy card. Also if your an active, retired, or veteran of the armed forces your get a 10% discount on Monday's (which is a plus for me since I'm a Veteran!). I always find what I need and more here, especially for my children since they grow so fast! The customer service is friendly, helpful, and eager to help you. The only downside would be the long lines and it can get really crowded during special events or on weekends. read more

If I could give a zero star to start my rant! I spent over $70 worth of clothes. So I decided to sign up for the old navy credit card just to get that extra 20% off. I gave the cashier my driver license and bank card. When done. She hand it back my bank card and off I go. Not realizing that I've been driving around towns with no driver license! And found out about it the next day when I was returning stuff at a store and they ask for my ID and I couldn't find it. So I remember the last time I touch my ID was at old navy. So I called old navy immediately and thank goodness it was still there. Went in to the store. Got my driver license back. But I notice that my ID were bent in half! Like wait a minute I swore I gave the cashier my ID in perfect shape. A day later and my ID just magically bent in half. I know it's an honest mistakes on both side but "they" made it worst by bending my driver license! Seriously who would do that?! After reading the reviews about how bad this store is. It is just sad! Don't get me wrong one of the gentleman gave me a $30 super cash cause he felt bad. But I have to spend $75 to get $30 off! So I waited to talk to the "manager" while she was on her cell phone for a good 10/15 minutes. And when she was finally got off of her phone. I explain to her about the situation. She didn't acknowledge or do anything about it beside "I'm sorry, you can always get a new one." Helloooo I know that but I have to pay $25?! for a new one. No not going to happen. The ID was nothing serious but it was the principle. The inconvenience. At least honor me a $25 gift card and all would be good. Since nobody care. So I put in my report to the corporates!!! Pretty decent deals but this location is always a shit show, the lines are always ridiculously long, for both the dressing room and to check out, don't buy a bottle of water there because it'll cost you a ton of money LOL and there are these little detectors that for some reason squeal at high-pitched octaves very loud for a long period of time and they are painful to listen to. I do not much shop here much because I dont really like it but I do love the flip flops! They are 2 for $5! It's comfortable and you can just wear it to the park or the beach. Perfect to get dirty in because if you get it dirty you can just go buy new ones since they are so cheap! I think this is the only reason why I go here. read more

I've been coming to this old navy since I was a teenager, and I'm still in love. Their clearance is amazing!! I usually don't buy their clothes unless its on sale or clearance because regular priced items are marked down within a week or two of them hitting the racks. The sales are great here. For Memorial Day weekend they have up to 50% off of everything. Walking into the store most of the stuff was 30-40% off. The store was pretty clean. Easy to find things. The girl in the fitting room was nice. The register line was extremely long but it went by pretty fast. My cashier's name was Sheri. She was soo fun and nice. She told me about up coming sales and helped me earn super cash. The only thing I didn't like is the regulation to the super cash. You have to spend so much to get so much off! Super lame! read more

Love this store but when there's a sale expect a tornado of clothes on the floor and thrown on the tables. I don't like how there's literally only two people on the register and the rest of the employees are roaming around. At my job I see a line even if I don't have a line I want to get my customers in and out. I don't want to wait so I know they don't want to wait in a line either. I have not shopped at old navy since June 2014 and i simply signed up for their old navy card to get a 20% discount. I only owed about $9 and had forgotten the account ever since. they've been charging me fees for late payments -which they've not sent me any notifications what so ever. Their clothes are great, but the line is always ridiculously slow. It wasn't always this way, but this last year I know that I can always count on a slow moving line. The line wasn't really that long today when I went in, but I waited in line for 25 minutes. For a weekday afternoon with no major sale going on, that's pretty ridiculous, but sadly not that unusual there. I don't like coming to this store. I asked one of the female workers if she can take off the everyday camel jacket for me from the mannequin and she said she's not allowed to. What the fuuuuu? The jacket looked like it was going to fall off the mannequin too. It was halfway on the model on the top shelf above the dressing rooms! Especially knowing I was gonna buy it too. The black fit me fine but I wanted the camel one because it showed less lint. I put back the black jacket that I was gonna purchase and walked out the store. Never coming again. How pathetic. And also the other day I spent over $70 and the cashier didn't even give me any cash coupon until I asked for it. And when I did she said, "oh...did I not put one in the bag?" I pretended to look inside the bag but I knew she didn't put any coupons in there and then she finally hands me a coupon and said,"here, I don't think I did." Well I don't plan on coming back anyway. I am very disappointed in the service I received at the Elk Grove Store. When asked to honor my military discount, we were treated rudely because my husband didn't have his Military ID on him. After stating his class, rank, and branch, she continued to be disrespectful. We went home and retrieved our ID's and presented them to the same cashier who then complained that she had to re-enter all of the items. She simply looked at me and stated "I don't make the policies". I refuse to shop at an establishment that disrespects the men and women that fight for our country! I used to go to Old Navy (the one on Howe) periodically when I was younger, and then....I just stopped going. Then recently I changed jobs and now have to wear scrubs to work, and since I hate the idea of wearing scrub pants AND top (the ugliest outfit outside of a muumuu), I decided to go with scrub pants and basic tee. Where to go for lots of basic tees? A friend suggested Old Navy, and so I visited this location. I was then reminded of why I stopped going to Old Navy years ago. I don't know if my standards of cleanliness are just higher than average, but I do not share the same sentiment that this Old Navy is cleaner then others. I thought this place was very messy and sloppy. There were random clothes hanging/lying/draping everywhere, and there was nothing I wanted in my size, not even a frickin basic tee. They probably had one xs in an ugly color like hunter green. Half the clothes are hanging so high I cannot even reach them, and when I try to find an SA there was none to be found, which was quite perplexing for a Wednesday afternoon. I absolutely hate wandering around looking for help. Since I am only 5' tall, of course I have encountered this problem before, but at least at other places the SAs are around to help you (except for the Nike outlet in Vacaville--I will write a review for them one day). Note to ON: if you want to be a place that offers decent customer service, you have to be condsiderate to everyone--even the ones on the ends of the bell curve. There was not even a footstool available where I can get my own damn hoodie down. Anyhoo, I managed to find a few things to try on, but what a waste of time that was. ON is basically cheap, disposable clothing. The quality in the materials and construction is just not there. The material is often thin, seams don't lie flat or are not sewn symmetrically (they use sewing machines--how can you get it wrong???), and some clothes are just poorly proportioned and ill-fitting. I am a firm believer in the " you get what you pay for" mantra, but geez, I could not even find a cheap, solid color v-neck tee in my size at this place. I was going to give ON 1 star, but granted them an extra star for being so affordable, which is crucial in these difficult economic times. But for me, it is back to Nordies Rack for overpriced $50 True Religion tees--at least I know I don't have to be an Amazon to reach the damn things. read more
