I go to old northwestern tavern quite a bit but have just started ordering from next door and haven't been disappointed yet! Their slices are quite large and their toppings are always nice and fresh. The salads..OMG... The antipasto is $15 but it serves 2 as a meal or 4 for an appetizer. Tons of meats, cheeses, different vegis. This spot is legit! They don't give you day-old slice of pizza reheated upon ordering, they make slices to go FRESH when your order it. Like, they take the dough, shape it into slice form, and cook it to order. The pizza is good and the people who work there are very friendly. This place is pretty close to me and the pizza was pretty good. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to do much business with them as they are cash only and you have to call to order. I really take issue with cash only businesses. This makes it more hassle than it's worth even though it's really close to home. Their product is great but unfortunately they're not able to keep any kind of operational schedule. That is to say, unless you call in the middle of the day there's a decent chance whoever answers will say their closed well in advanced of their revised COVID hours. I own a extremely small candle business and it is so easy to acquire a Square for card payments. The cashier also seemed like he hated his life and was quite rude with a standoffish attitude.
