The tire I wanted to have mounted
    Marty C.

I called old town tire to ask them if they had time to remove a flat tire and mount and balance a tire. The guy on the phone asked me what kind of tire I needed. I explained to him that I didn't need a tire as I had a pull off ( used tire) I had bought from a friend of mine who has a tire shop. He told me he couldn't mount a used tire ( yeah right) the tire although technically used was practically new but he never even gave me the chance to explain to him. My friend happened to have a set of 4 of the same tires which is hard to find buying used tires and sold them all to me for $80, hard pass that up. Funny because I called 3 other tire shops who had no issues mounting a used tire on my car. Really bad customer service and obviously wanted to up sell you . I will never give them my business. Nothing wrong with the tire I wanted mounted and had it done right around the corner from them.

I was referred to Temecula Accurate Auto Care through AAA, and before taking my vehicle in, I spent some time reading their reviews. Based on my experience, I can see why they have so many positive ones. My vehicle was having an issue related to the fuel pump. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, explained what was going on, and made the necessary repair. I really appreciated that they focused on identifying the actual issue rather than just throwing parts at the problem or recommending work that wasn't needed. The final cost did come in a little higher than the initial estimate, but I think it's important to be fair about that. An estimate is exactly that--an estimate. Sometimes additional costs come up once a mechanic gets into the actual repair and sees exactly what is needed. Personally, I don't think it's fair to penalize a business simply because an estimate ends up being a little higher than originally expected, especially when the work is done properly and the issue is actually resolved. I've been driving the car for the past few days since getting it back, and so far it has been running great with no issues. At the end of the day, that's what matters most to me: the problem was properly diagnosed, repaired, and the vehicle is running the way it should. I'm glad AAA referred me to Temecula Accurate Auto Care. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable mechanic.

Prior to using them, I received several quotes from my repair through Yelp, as well as the Nissan dealership. The quote from 1st Choice was by far the best, and half the amount quoted by the dealership. I selected 1st Choice and scheduled the repair date. The work was completed to my satisfaction. I want to mention that the mechanics are very knowledgeable and extremely professional. I would highly recommend 1st Choice for your automotive needs.

Last year, he decided to branch off and focus primarily on mods, custom builds, and speciality work on Subarus whiling changing the name of the business to RFC Industries. In doing this, he sold the service side (oil changes, tire rotations, basic repairs, etc.) of his business to 1st Choice Autoworks. So I've been coming to them for the non-off roading specific stuff that Chris still does for me. Luke and everyone else here is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and professional. This past weekend, I panicked since I'm leaving for an extended work trip (1.5 months) which involves my heavily modded Subaru Forester and I had an axle issue days before I was supposed to leave. I texted Chris over the weekend and he said come to 1st Choice by 8:00am on Monday. I didn't have an appointment, and just showed up. And this isn't my style. I'm usually so highly organized and do my best to be respectful, schedule appointments, and go through the proper channels. But I woke up at 6:00am and was in Murrieta by 8:00am. I explained my situation and they were so accommodating and understanding and kind. It took all day but they helped me out and got my car back in good health and I'm so thankful they were cool with me just showing up. This shop is trustworthy, professional, and now is really familiar with off-roading and modded, lifted Subarus due to SubiWorks' and Chris' involvement. Please give these guys your business if you're in the area. They also work on non-Subarus. Thank you, 1st Choice dudes. I appreciate you!
