My wife and I were served a bowl of liquid Açaí with fruit diced in it for $10.95. Not only was it the smallest portion ever served but we have never been served liquid Açaí. I can't believe this place can stay in business serving this product! If we had not had hundreds of Açaí bowls before we would not have had any expectations, but this was very disappointing!! read more

I'm a huge fan of french toast (combo) and (sweet) lattes-- they both didn't disappoint. I'll be back to try their other items, especially the breakfast burrito. Service was great and I can tell they have a lot of regulars. Given where the plaza is located, one shouldn't expect a great ambiance. They've done a good job with the space and it's pretty cozy. read more

Breakfast burritos are exactly what we hoped it would be... tasty, filling, and at fair price served with a beautiful smile. Couldn't have asked for more. The cafe was clean and neat. Unfortunately, the location being upstairs makes it harder for older or disabled patrons to frequent the cafe but if I lived locally and had restrictions, it would be worth using a delivery service. I swung in here with a friend and was met with the somber news that they were closing early. This is when we learned the magic words: "too closed for a coffee?"... this is when a kind man prepared us two honey iced lattes for free! It was quite the experience. Another man walked in, was met with the same news, presented the same sequence of words, and soon received a free black coffee. Absolutely loved the drinks and food. Matcha latte and Horchata latte, both with oat milk, were phenomenal. They weren't too sweet and they tasted fresh. The coffee art was superb. We also tried the salmon scramble and breakfast burrito with chicken sausage. The servings were extremely large and could be split amongst two people; this is coming from a 250 lb man. Love the vibe and Christmas music. The meals and coffee did take a while to come out but it is a testament to the freshness and quality of their food. Service was personable and the owner spoke to us and welcomed us. Would recommend to anyone easily. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. read more

Wow I am impressed. Portions are great. Prices are great. It's hard to find a restaurant that has well served portions for a good price. Also food is delicious. What a great spot! It's in a small upstairs building. The place is super clean. Really keeled up. The workers are really nice. Service was quick and fresh! Taste was 10/10 for all 3 meals. We love coming to this little gem! My hubby is very particular about where and what he wants to eat so I found this place on yelp and it did not disappoint! We have ordered quite a variety of items on the menu and have not had a bad experience with either the food nor the service! Speaking of service! The food literally comes out less then 10 minutes after you order and they service such huge portions that I always have to take my order home. The atmosphere is cozy and homely. They check to make sure you are happy with you meal and always ask if we need anything else. Such a great little spot, I highly recommend!! read more

Small, cozy cafe with really good food! My sisters ordered an omelette and I ordered the egg avocado toast and we also got a strawberry-banana waffle to share. One of my sisters stepped in some jelly that a previous customer had dropped and ended up spreading it all under the table. She told the young lady serving us who cheerfully got down on the floor to clean it all up. I observed her carrying on that cheerful and accommodating attitude with the other customers. It all made for a very pleasant and delectable meal. read more

Just outstanding. I see this being my go to spot now, especially because it's close. We got a breakfast burrito and French toast and both were great. Strawberry lemonade is essential. Horchata latte reminded me of Tierra Mia's Cubano con leche. One small gripe, maybe they could make an optional hotter condiment. Super excellent service here! You order and pay at the counter but the waiter brings the plates to you. The coffee was great black. The California breakfast's potato's were yummy with a seasoned salt. We opted for the chicken sausage which has a little bite and subtle sweetness. My husband and I were looking for a restaurant to have breakfast on a Saturday morning and were lucky to find this place. The food is so delicious and their coffee is way better than Starbucks!! I had the salmon scramble and my husband had the French toast combo. This restaurant has great service and the owner and his family are very attentive and make you feel at home. Wow!! Go to this incredible restaurant! Hector and his team offered better than 5 star service! The food was AMAZING! I had the salmon scramble with capers it was so fresh and the dressing on the side salad was lovely and light perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend has commented 3 times that he wishes he could cook scrambled eggs this delicious! Now the lattes... I have no idea why it was one of the best I ever had! Lovely spot for breakfast. My friend and I stopped here right before the Cruel World concert. They have a great selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, beverages, and acai bowls. I ordered a classic acai bowl, and my friend ordered a veggie sandwich. I really enjoyed the acai bowl topped with sliced fresh fruit and an iced latte. My friend and I were really surprised about the tempeh used in the veggie sandwich. It was soooooo good! The employees kept checking on us. There was a small incident where a lady bumped her chair behind me. While the lady didn't apologize, I kept my cool and didn't make a big deal about it. One of the employees came around and asked if I was "okay". That was sweet! Before we left, I made sure that I personally thanked the staff. They truly care about their patrons. I don't live in the area, but I hope to return next year or sooner. read more

Last weekend, they were out of brioche, so she had the waffle combo, which was great, but the French toast was truly something special. Despite being a busy, smaller establishment, we were lucky enough to grab a table, and the service remained swift and attentive. I had the frozen ube smoothie, which was as delicious as it sounds, while my fiancé enjoyed her acai smoothie -- both drinks were spot-on. We had some time to spare and were looking for decent place for breakfast. This cafe have great reviews and we drove some miles to give it a try. It was on Saturday and place was not too busy. Food was ok, maybe slightly too greasy for our taste, cofee was not good, and service was really bad. First of all they are asking you to pay up front and then it literally takes forever to get your food. We had seen people asking for refund after long wait, plates delivered to parties one in a time with the rest of party waiting for their food, full lack of attention from servers, etc. I would recommend you to get your breakfast elswhere, especially if you dont have hours to wait or want a sip of good cofee. read more

First time at Old Town Caffe and I absolutely loved it! I had the verde chilaquiles with added chicken, sausage, and bacon, and everything was packed with flavor. I also tried the blended horchata with espresso, almond milk, and banana purée, and it was insane in the best way. By the time I get here, especially on a hot day, I'm completely overheated and that iced coffee hits the spot every single time. Definitely recommend getting one! The service has also been consistently great. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and friendly, and the whole operation is really efficient. I also love their app. If it's your first time and you download the app, you get $10 off, which I thought was a great incentive. You also earn rewards with your purchases that you can use toward future orders, and I really appreciate that. Those little perks go a long way! My only complaints are the prices for add-ons. I think $2.50 just to add refried beans is a little steep, especially when you're already purchasing a burrito. Bacon being $4 is also on the pricey side.
