I also ordered two açai bowls [one as is and one with NO TOPPINGS] I received two bowls with toppings!!! I called the restaurant and the lady tried to deflect from the kitchen's mistake by attempting to tell me no toppings means "no chia seeds and coconut", there was still fruit on my bowl in which the person I ordered it for is allergic to. Bottom line, if you make alterations to your order, they will STILL serve it to you how THEY see fit. Pick somewhere else to dine!!!! read more

Checked this place out today with my family. If I was just reviewing the food I'd give them a 5! We got a waffle which was super fluffy and soft and crispy. My kids loved! We also tried the breakfast sandwich and breakfast croissant super delicious. Loved the food. The reason I gave it a 4 is because all 3 of our meals came out a different times and they did not have a high chair available for my young child. Overall we would go back again but maybe without our kids. read more

A couple of months back I came here on a whim because I was running errands in the neighborhood and felt like a change from my usual. I got the chicken caprese sandwich and a banana -pineapple smoothie - both of which were absolutely excellent. I had some time on my hands so I decided to dine in. The place is small, but it's comfortable and the service was exceedingly friendly and attentive. Fast forward to today and, on account of being stuck in a meeting nearly all day, I found myself running on fumes and in need of an energy boost. I had a very limited window to get lunch so I opted to get take-out and decided to give Old Town Caffe another try. I'm glad I did! I remembered my previous order, and - ever the penchant for spontaneity and variety - opted to have the same thing and order it for takeout this time. Turns out, Old Town Caffe has a penchant for consistency! The food was not only as good as the previous time but I was greeted with a friendly face when I went to pick up my order. We've lost a lot of great restaurants over the past few years and I worry about some of those that remain. This is particularly true for Old Town Caffe, given their somewhat "tucked away" location (it's easy to miss, but bonus points to whomever set that sign up at the bottom of the stairs) I worry even more about it here. Give it a try, though, if you live or work in the area and are looking for great food and service to match. There's a lot to pick from on the menu, and I'm sure anybody can find something they might like. I know that I'll be coming back more often. One suggestion to the owner: Create a web site and make sure it's linked to on Yelp. It doesn't have to be fancy, just show off the menu and maybe a bit of your story. I tried to find one this afternoon and came up empty. And, if you were to take orders from it directly, I'd rather do that than via Yelp. read more

My wife and I were served a bowl of liquid Açaí with fruit diced in it for $10.95. Not only was it the smallest portion ever served but we have never been served liquid Açaí. I can't believe this place can stay in business serving this product! If we had not had hundreds of Açaí bowls before we would not have had any expectations, but this was very disappointing!! read more

We love coming to this little gem! My hubby is very particular about where and what he wants to eat so I found this place on yelp and it did not disappoint! We have ordered quite a variety of items on the menu and have not had a bad experience with either the food nor the service! Speaking of service! The food literally comes out less then 10 minutes after you order and they service such huge portions that I always have to take my order home. The atmosphere is cozy and homely. The California breakfast's potato's were yummy with a seasoned salt. We opted for the chicken sausage which has a little bite and subtle sweetness. Absolutely loved the drinks and food. Matcha latte and Horchata latte, both with oat milk, were phenomenal. They weren't too sweet and they tasted fresh. The coffee art was superb. We also tried the salmon scramble and breakfast burrito with chicken sausage. The servings were extremely large and could be split amongst two people; this is coming from a 250 lb man. Love the vibe and Christmas music. The meals and coffee did take a while to come out but it is a testament to the freshness and quality of their food.
