We'd drive by this place every so often and promised to go there "someday". Unlike CCR's song "Someday Never Comes", we made it here a couple nights ago and planned on ordering a to-go pie. Never realized, of course, that they only did takeout! Ok - we wanted their "famous thin crust" pie - 14" - and added Canadian bacon, olives and green peppers to the mix. Didn't realize each topping added was pretty pricey so our midrange pie came with a Caddy price. Why are pizzas so pricey now? Lesson- one topping only next time! Ok - we were told to wait 20 minutes so went to the car to watch YouTubes (Tesla's are great for this) - but when we got this pie? Holy crud it was uber-hot! And when we got home ten minutes later? Still piping hot! That counts! We dug into our tavern cut pie and loved it. Seriously loved it. Want a great pie that'll still be hot when you get home? And be totally enjoyable? I've tried a few different things here but I think the absolute home run, without a doubt, is their thin crust pizza. Crispy, with the right ratio of cheese, fresh ingredients, and enough punch to the sauce to make it just right. My parents and I ordered dinner from here last night and turns out it's pretty good. We ordered a double dough pizza with mushrooms and half sausage. Unfortunately, the pizza squares were cut to not highlight the halves of the pizza. It was cut diagonally through the ingredients (see picture to highlight the awkward slices). This was odd because any other time I've ordered a half ingredients pizza other places cut the pizza to align with the halves. We also ordered a combo appetizer sampler- where you can choose your 3 items. We chose mushrooms, chicken strips and mozzarella sticks - all of which were delicious. We did run into a customer service issue where the person working the register did not know how to properly count our change - he had to do it 3times and even asked for kitchen assistance (which was to no avail as they could not assist). Overall, this little pick up spot was tasty, but the staff could use a significant amount of overall training. read more

We tried this place, kind of fir the first time last night. We have picked up a slice of cheese pizza from the spinning rack for our young picky eater when the rest of us were having Mexican, but last night the whole family had pizza. And everybody ate well. Not too much cheese, lots of toppings. The sausage was not my favorite, but it was good. Pepperoni was not too greasy, or spicy. Sauce was tasty, not sweet. Service was quick and polite. Most of the employees were wearing masks. Price seemed high, however the medium thin crust pizza was quite large. You could probably buy a size smaller than your usual. my daughter forgot her lunch I had to think quick, I was already in chicago so taking her lunch was not an option. I was in a hurry to call a to get pizza to her. Called the school and only option was to get food delivered or bring it Myself. The school my daughter goes to has a consistent fund raising deal going on with OTPizza, but they were closed. Pizza Hutt and domino's pizza was closed till after 12pm. Old town was not open yet till 11:00 according to the office hours online and I needed to call because they open 1/2 hour before the start lunch. It was 10:30 I called anyway and they answered. They could and did help. The food was delivered 11:20 (10min before lunch time) and my daughter was happy. If she is happy then I am happy. Thanks for being there when I needed you. This is our favorite local pizza. We love the double dough and the thin crust. Sauce and cheese are perfection. I especially love the buffalo wings, sauce is spicy and delicious! We have also tried the poppers and enjoy them too. Went directly to their site to order a pizza to help save them from paying Grubhub fees. Got a confirmation email and order number. But never a pizza. When I called they told me that they don't take orders that way even though it was on the website. Even went so far as to tell me that I was lying and hung up on me. This was my families very favorite pizza place until I went to pick up our to go order about a month ago. I was completely shocked to walk in and find none of the staff (kitchen staff, included) wearing masks. I was completely disgusted. I told the person that I would pay for the food, but that I could not eat it. Agree didn't really care! We really strive to support our local community businesses, but both my mom and I are immunocompromised and the fact that the restaurant wouldn't do something as simple as wearing a mask to protect their customers was extremely disappointing. I used to really like this place, I dont know if its switching to grubhub or they hired simple "Managers" but this place is a joke now. What a shame. Im pretty sure they are months from tanking via incompetence. Never had an issue for over 10 years of ordering like crazy, seriously 1-2x a week for $40-100+. We slowed down when they started screwing up orders and started being totally inconsistent. Now, i swear, its a 50/50 they screw up your order. Like bad. I'm going to share my latest pizza delivery creation courtesy of Old Town Pizza Company: giardiniera, spinach, garlic and sliced tomatoes. BOOM. Said pizza (thin crust) had just the right amount of salt, cheese, crispy crust and a touch of grease. I may have blotted the pie a few times before dispersing the slices onto plates. No biggie. Beyond the delicious pies, I also enjoyed a sampling of their mozzarella sticks (tasty but nothing overly special), and a few bites of a caesar salad. To be fair, I tried several different pizzas from this place because they are so close to home and I really wanted them to be my go-to carry out pizza joint. Sadly, their pizza is worse than Rosati's. Hey, at least they're better than Domino's or Papa John's! I really love the pizza here in Old Town! It is so great, delicious, and the portion is so good. Their pizza is on fire! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT. The toppings are so awesome and it comes with unique sauce they made. What a mouth-watering pizza. Also, the staff there is very hardworking, respectful and professional. Their accommodation is explicit and they're also very helpful. Their food is all so good, although of course I could not buy it all, I am thankful for how delicious their food is that I had tasted. Like their breads, garlic breads, pastries and all.
