    They were reasonably priced, did great work, wore masks, did exactly what we agreed to at the exact price. And I was lucky they were able to get started right away. Beautiful floors in time for Christmas.

    They did an amazing job at refinishing the original hardwood floors in my new home! Not only was Brian professional and communicated well, but he also was able to complete the job in a timely manner. Thank you for our beautiful floors!

    We selected Ace floor care based off of yelp reviews, therefore I feel obligated to share my own non five star experience. I called to get an estimate done to repair and refinish our bamboo hardwood floooring. We were planning on selling our home and didn't want to fork out the cash for all new flooring but wanted our current flooring to look move in ready. We have 2 large dogs who have done quite a number on the floors with their nails over the past 8 years that we have lived here. We also had a few areas where water had leaked and warped the boards before we could fix it and wanted those replaced with some spare boards we had in the garage. And some gaps where the boards had slid apart slightly. So I went on yelp and found Ace. Brian was quick to return my message and scheduled a prompt visit for an estimate. He came and looked at the floors, decided it would be better to glue down and putty the warped boards instead of replacing them due to concern of the new boards matching the worn floor. He would also putty the gaps to make them less noticeable. In his opinion it was not necessary to refinish the floors and that with a good buff and polish they would look easily still useable. He explained that the really deep scratches would still be there but the surface ones would be less noticeable. He also pointed out some trim pieces we were missing which was a great suggestion. Everything sounded good to go. We scheduled for a 2 weeks out with an expected time frame of 4-6 hours for the job. Brian knew we were trying to get the house on the market so when he had an early opening he called and offered it to us. (Even though I'm only giving him 2 stars I will say his communication was very good throughout this process.) Here is where the job went south. First, It should have been a red flag when he called to ask me if I was gonna get the trim pieces or if he should do it. (I'm a working mother of a toddler and a newborn, so no I don't have time or energy to go hunt down a peice of trim to match our floors. I also don't know anything about flooring, that's why we hired you). He shows up day one 10am and glues down the water damaged peice and measures for trim. He then goes to home depot (2 miles away) for 2 hours. Comes back and glues the trim in and then leaves to his other job at 3. confirming he will be back on the original date to do the gaps and buffing. So a week later he arrives at 10, spends until 12 rubbing some putty into the gaps and talking on his phone nonstop and realizes he is only a 16th of the way done and it's a much bigger job than expected so he calls in help and takes another long lunch break. (Apparently he is on island time doing 2 hours work, 2 hour lunch, 2 more hours work) as I was leaving for work his helpers show up. My husband calls me and says "I guess they are done, he will be by after his other job to pick up his equipment and he asked me to drive his workers to the trolley." How unprofessional! I understand you have another job but when you want to own a successful business, you have to make that your priority. And you can not ask your clients to do you favors. And no you can't come by my house late at night to get your equipment when I have 2 protective dogs and 2 sleeping babies. Not professional! Day 3 of the 4-6 hour job, he comes and gets his stuff. I have him come see the finished product and he seems very happy with it... other than being clean our floor looks the exact same, thrashed. It looks just like it does when we mop it ourselves. I explain that it's not what I was expecting and he assures me that it is still in desireable condition. I pay him, only because I'm completely over it at this point, we are on different planets. A week as passed and the floors actually look worse than when he came, the putty filled gaps draw even more attention then they did and the patched spot looks HORRIBLE! He should have just replaced it with peices like we oroginally wanted. Maybe this guy is great at original hardwood repairs but he went all wrong with our bamboo. Normally I would offer him the chance to come fix it before posting a bad review, but we just don't have the patience or time for that. I really wanted to be able to add to his 5 star reviews because he truly is a very nice guy, but between the lack of professionalism, poor judgment calls and island time work ethic he loses 3 stars. He get 1 star for good communication, and 1 star for recommending and installing the trim. I on the other hand just wasted $400.

    Brian did a fantastic job refinishing our Oak wood floors...they are original from the 40s and Brian made them look brand new...he also installed new oak flooring in a room we added on...everything matches perfectly. We are extremely happy with the work done and would recommend to anyone!

This review is not for any of the AMAZING cleaners they sent me - Amanda, Hailee, and Audrey - they did an amazing job with the time they had. The complaint is for the scheduler, Alvin. I kept telling him that there were certain times of day or weekends that would be better, and every time I was steered to a less convenient time for us. Against my better judgment I let them come at the less convenient time because the reviews online were so great - jokes on me, they're under new management, don't trust those old reviews. Then, I kept telling him that scheduling 2 people for 3 hours wasn't going to make it but he assured me it would - but when the two girls walked in on the first visit, they immediately knew it wasn't enough time. So Alvin had to send someone else back and he scheduled her for 2.5 hours - it took her 5 to finish. Alvin knew I was upset when the cleaning wasn't finished on the first visit because I repeatedly told him I needed this cleaned due to a severe allergy and I was willing to pay to have it done at one time before my steroid pack ran out. When the visit didn't accomplish the full cleaning, and he had to schedule a second person, he charged me the FULL price before speaking to me, knowing I was escalated already. Never again.

After the deep clean, they said they would give me regular fixed pricing for maintenance, which was $220 every 2 weeks for 3 hrs each clean. They kept mixing up my text with other clients so it was very confusing on time, price, and duration. After they came 1 time for the regular maintenance, the management told me I had to give them cash in person from now on. The second time they came I went to the atm and by the time I came back they were already gone (only worked 2 hrs). They shamed me for not having the cash and told me it was embarrassing to ask for payment. Now after servicing my home 5 times, they tell me that my home needs picking up and changing of sheets (which the cleaners offered to do the first cleaning) is extra work and my home is so big that they should be charging me $50 more each time, but they will give me on $20 increase and if I want to pay by Zelle, it's additional $10. I tend to keep missing the cleaning ladies because they only come for 2 hrs instead of the 3hrs I thought I was paying for. They also continue to mix up my text messages with other clients. Clearly they don't know what FIXED PRICING is! Never going back!

Because of that, I ended up being charged around $150 to $200, and they did not offer any discount, reimbursement, or real effort to make it right. What made it even worse was that after this happened, I asked about pricing for regular biweekly or monthly cleaning, and the quotes were extremely overpriced. After costing me money because of their mistake, they still had the audacity to come back with unreasonable rates for ongoing service. Based on my experience, I will never use them again. Very disappointing. This is in response to the owner's reply. At no point did I ever say that everything in the unit was trash or that anything left behind could simply be thrown away. That is not accurate, and I strongly disagree with that characterization of what happened. The item that was discarded was attached to the thermostat and should not have been removed. I was then left dealing with the cost of replacing it, which ended up being around $150 to $200. What makes this even more frustrating is that instead of taking real accountability, your response shifts the blame onto me. That response only makes me feel less confident in your company. Based on my experience, I do not trust this business and would not recommend the service.

I am truly disappointed and upset over the quality and efficiency of the cleaning service provided by this company. "Pattys team" was simply awful, unprofessional, and did not provide the move out deep cleaning I ultimately had to pay. The only reason I'm giving them a 1 star is because Karla C (who I communicated mainly by text) was very responsive and accommodating. The cleaners arrived within the time frame provided and only two (from what I heard of their conversations it seemed as they were a couple). When they arrived they did a walk through of the apartment BEFORE starting to clean in order to inspect the condition and advised me it would take them 2-3 hours. Around 4.5 hours later I received a text from Karla saying the cleaners need more time due to "conditions of the home." The cleaners told her that my apartment was more work and dirtier than they expected and they attempted the charge me more money. The condition of my apartment was nothing more than a normal move out/deep cleaning. My apartment was completely empty and relatively clean. They DID NOT do a move out clean. I observed them since 1130 am and noticed that she has giving him instructions consistently on how to deep clean while she wasn't cleaning. At one point he was left alone to clean the small bathroom alone that he spent over an hour on. I'm was concerned at the efficiency of them. I was in the living room during a 40 min period taking apart one piece of furniture and observed them NOT clean anything beyond wiping down a counter. I also had a friend over who observed the same. They did not pull out the appliances to clean them, didn't clean the freezer, barely wiped down the baseboards despite telling me that they had to spend a significant amount of time on them. I had to go back and wipe down walls, cabinet doors, baseboards, and clean the freezer myself. Karla was receptive and when I sent her photos agreed that they did not provide the quality of work they allegedly normally offer. However I had to actually call her and request a reduction of rate in order to receive any response or discount. I was still charged $216 despite after informing Karla and going back and forth being provided an "$80 discount." When I turned over the apartment my leasing agent expressed her concerns over the cleaning quality and advised me she would be reaching out to the company to finish cleaning properly. The cleaners spent SIX HOURS in my apartment and did nothing beyond a normal cleaning. Then tried to argue with me when I expressed concerns. The girl also attempted to get me to pay her cash directly rather than waiting for the company to charge my card. It was all completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and disappointing. It was a complete waste of money and time. I hired them because I wanted to support a local business, they had "fair" rates, and relatively decent reviews. I needed a move out clean and decided to give them a chance. Please don't waste your time or money on this company. I should have paid double the price for a larger professional corporation or company to handle my cleaning needs.
