I'm going to edit my review bc I believe based on their response and how great I've been treated at both the Las Vegas Ole Red and the Ole Red in Nashville airport must be factored in. I just wanted to confirm that I am certain that I was the least of their problems on a Wednesday afternoon at 5pm. There were three of us and the security guard would not talk to me or my Hispanic co-worker--just our one female friend. I've have spent so much much at Ole Red and don't think my "unsteady" behavior warranted a walk out. I was nice and polite, and even asked for a hug before I left. I was mortified and would NEVER break a blatant rule. Did he have a axe to grind with me? I will remove the word racist bc I know my Vegas hosts HAVE NEVER and would NEVER dismiss me with no explanation after being there for 5 minutes. I had high hopes for this place, looked good as we first walked in but then I saw how the staff treat their customers. Was only there an hour but witnessed staff being very heavy handed with some guests and from what I saw, they hadn't done anything wrong except maybe they were at the point where they shouldn't be served anymore alcohol. Great evening with Rachel Horter as the musical guest. We started off with some Brisket Tots. Homemade tater tots with gravy and fried cheese curds. Maybe a southern poutine? They were great. This was one of our last stops while vacationing in Nashville, being a Blake Shelton fan this was a must see. (Note: there is also a location in the Nashville Airport.) Ol Red was one of Blake's country music hits from the early 2000s, about a dog named Ol Red. The menu is Blake inspired as well as the decor...there is an upside down tractor trailer hanging from the ceiling. We arrived around noon on a Thursday & it was pretty quiet, except for the band playing. Live music plays pretty much all day & all night. We decided to eat lunch on the second floor. From our table we could hear the music but not see the stage. Our server was friendly & attentive. We ordered the Blue Tick Burger & House Made Tots, (Bluetick is a hound dog) & the Trash Talkin' Taco Salad. The burger was good, however it was extra to add cheese. The tots were nice & crispy on the outside & soft on the inside...delicious. The taco salad was wonderful, I enjoyed all the different ingredients - taco beef, corn, jalapeño, avocado, black olives, tomatoes, black beans & pickled onions. However, it could have used more cheddar cheese & it was missing sour cream. The salad was visually appealing, a pretty display of textures & colors. Arrived at 11am Wednesday. Great food, not too loud, talented artist (Lana Scott Beck). Crowd was older, given day and time but every other bar was SO LOUD it was intolerable. While you will not find me on Broadway too often, when you do I will more than likely be on the rooftop of Ole Red. With 5 floors, and one of the best rooftop views on Broadway, Ole Red is a staple in my Broadway trips and recommendations list for all those who come visit. The first two floors are the more "casual" floors that allow you to sit and enjoy food and live music. The upper floors offer a bit more hang-out/bar vibes with random seating options and a lot of standing room. Live music is available on most floors at most times, as you would expect. As noted, the top floor is our go-to when we pop into Ole Red. They have a great outdoor patio with close to 360 views of downtown Nashville. Offers a variety of indoor/outdoor seating and a small stage indoors where acoustic artists play. Overall, we really enjoy Ole Red and recommend it is a solid option in the ever expanding honkytonk scene that is Broadway! read more

We randomly stopped by Ole Red and didn't realized it was Blake Shelton's spot. The bar is huge. It's 5 levels with the rooftop bar. The singers and ambiance on the rooftop were more intimate than the first floor where it was very hyped and active (lots of dancing). We ordered one appetizer-Burnt Ends since we had just came from dinner. Our server was nice and friendly. I love the concept of ordering a drink and get a glass to bring home as souvenir! A fantastic experience at Ole Red in Nashville - without a doubt one of the highlight stops along Broadway! The music was great, we enjoyed a few cocktails that were excellent (we even got to keep the glass as a a souvenir!). But most of all we received a fantastic experience from our server (I wish I could remember her name). The house was packed, we were lucky to find a table, and were ready to have to sit and wait to be served. Came in for dinner. Went to the bar for a drink while waiting for a table. Ordered an old fashioned and a mango lemonade. They're out of souvenir glasses. That fine. Don't want the damn thing anyway. But they charge me $52 for two cocktails in plastic throw away cups. The bartender even spilled half my drink and didn't re-pour it. She just dumped more ice in it. The bartender was unpleasant and rude. As for dinner, adequate. Nothing special. Exactly what you'd expect for theme bar food. $23 burgers and fries. Ho hum.
