    Hangover Helper

After an unplanned detour thru Nashville and a 6 hour layover, we found ourselves at Ole Reds for a needed meal. We each had the Hangover Helper, which was a LOT of food. The bacon and chicken strip were excellent - fresh, meaty and perfectly cooked. The gravy was meh and the biscuits just mid. However, it was overall one of the best airport meals I've had. Their coffee was hot and table service from Charlsie pushed this over to a 5 star review. Where else but Nashville can you eat a great meal with quality entertainment? The music by Ajaye Jardine was delightful.

My first time here at Ole Red in Nashville, Tennessee. We ordered the Nachos, chicken salad, and the steak tacos. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the fast service and the friendly service. Hannah was wonderful. A keeper! Made sure we had everything we needed. The tacos had sauce on it that we had to make sure it didn't have. She immediately took care of it for us. The food was nothing special plus they had live entertainment featuring Megan Wilder. I'm sure she is good in her own way and having her I'm sure attracted new customers but she didn't sing only country songs. It included Fleetwood Mac and Train. I thought this was a country restaurant. Oh well. Not knocking her at all, just was not expecting it. Would I come back? I'm on the fence with that one. There were a few items on the menu I would love to try.

How nice is that!!! While waiting on our flight to Cincinnati we stopped by Blake Shelton's Ole Red restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, great food, friendly staff and amazing live music. Highly recommend this place!

This is a spot that does the job, pretty consistently, for a fun and easy airport experience. I fly through Nashville pretty often and I've been to Ole Red a handful of times. There is plenty of seating - bless - and the service is actually pretty fast and solid. The food and drinks are decent and I can always find something that will satiate me. Only downside is if you go during breakfast time, the menu is a little limited. And sadly, last time I was there, they were out of champagne and two of the main dishes. But don't worry, I got a drink and a meal that made me happy and gave me what I needed. I'm a big fan of the live music and chill vibes - it's just an easy place!

Great atmosphere with modern decor. Three different floors. First floor is main stage country music. Second floor has a view of first floor with tables. Third floor is rooftop and has a non country band with full bar and view of downtown Nashville. There's two full service bars. I didn't eat anything here. Just had drinks and listened to live music. I saw food that was brought out to other patrons and it looked like American fare bar food. I definitely would recommend this as a hangout place for drinks, groups and live music.

Airport with licensing to the Nashville bar. The live music is good, but loud. The seating is not reserved, so groups have trouble sitting together. The menu is sandwiches and drinks. Not much variety, and no BBQ. Good place to relax and listen to music when waiting for a flight.

Ole Red's Nachos: they were decent. Recommend asking for a side of queso to dip the baked chips.

We ordered the Freakshow Chardonnay (which I liked!), Vodka Soda, the Pork Tacos, and the Nachos. My daughter LOVED the pork tacos... she highly recommended them. Hubby and I split the nachos and they were decent. There wasn't a lot of cheese so I'd ask for extra or queso on the side for dipping all the naked chips if I had a do-over on the order. We liked the pickled jalapeños. I asked for a side of sour cream and was charged $1.00 for (literally) less than 1 tbsp of sour cream. We massively enjoyed eating at a place with live music - if you're gonna be in Nashville & have time to kill at the airport, why would you choose a restaurant sans live music? Our server was sweet. I'd have rated this a three-star restaurant but am bumping it up for the live music offered.

As an airport restaurant, this place isn't bad, and provides a great Nashville experience on your way in, out, or passing through. I got to the airport pretty early and was looking for a place to sit, get some food, and get some work done. I was waiting by the entrance to be seated and was informed it was open seating. I grabbed a seat and waited a while before someone came by to serve me. Ole Red's food looked pretty good and I enjoyed the live music. I ordered the redneck nachos, they were massive! The nachos were decently good and I would get again, but probably not if I'm by myself.

Ok, so obviously, it's an airport restaurant / bar. I generally have very low expectations of this combo. The layout is convenient (seat yourself), lots of tables and bar area. The servers were super friendly and helpful. The menu is what you would expect with a couple of extras thrown in for good measure. The beer options are fairly decent along with a fully stocked bar. My favorite part is that they had live music. A pair of young men who were very talented and interacted with the audience really well. This is a surprising extra that makes Ole Red just a little better than the others.

The service was so friendly. My plane was delayed by an hour and a half so I was pleasantly surprised that they had live music at 11 o'clock on a Monday morning. I just missed the breakfast but the salmon with hot honey and mashed potatoes was delicious.

Great fun had here. Located in the Nashville airport...Good food, great music entertainment. The perfect place to rest during a layover. Seat yourself anywhere, fast and friendly service, booze to go, this place has Blake's presence written all over it.

This is the 2nd time we've stopped here. We learned from the first time about the extra alcohol tax. I had a double burger that was pretty good. It was a little dry. My husband had the quesadilla. He said it was just okay. It's nice to listen to live music during your layover. The tables are so close you feel like you are on top of each other. It's a nice place to sit waiting for your aircraft.

I'm giving this a 5 star keeping in mind it is an airport joint. C concourse. Live music is a MAJOR PLUS. Our server Blake was amazing -- friendly and efficient. He literally stopped my wife from creating a drink that would've ended up being insanely expensive and steered us in the right direction. Beer selection solid. We had a chili dog that was huge and tasty. Could've used more chili but ... I would come here again for sure!

I had 4 meals including lunch and three of them were at Blackwood. Not just for convenience but it's that good. The Blackwood Burger was out of this world and I should mention I had it twice including today. A perfect compliment were the fries. Almost like a lite Beer Batter. Very crispy and very delicious. After living in California for so long I told James ( The Best Bartender/Server/ excellent Employee) I wish that I had an Avocado to put on it. That was my Big Back talking. I'm still thinking about those Fries. If your in California think nobody has better.and you hit the mark. Back to th Burger. My first night there I had a chance to meet the Chef, who is said to have done a complete overhaul of the Menu. As you can see from the picture everything was fresh. I also had a chance to taste their Wings which by this point I expected to be not but great. No disappointment there for sure. The Wings are Smoked than a lightly fried to a Crisp. None of those Pigeon Wings either. These were huge Wings and they were exceptional. I believe there are four flavors and got the BBQ Rub. I don't look forward per se to visiting offers for any particular thing othan business, but I'll be staying at this Delta by Marriott on futur visits. I want to also mention that the Hotel Staff is second to none as well. I don't usually say, "I had a great time" on Business trips, but it felt like going home.complete with a hot meal. Thank you to Delta and Blackwood by Marriott for helping make my trip as well as my work completion a success. If you just so happen to live by here it's worth a shot. By the way a tried a Cocktail today made by James and let me tell you that Black.Berry Smash was outstanding. It took me back to my Drink on a Norwegian Cruise trip with the family. I had a seat at the end of the Bar and the Black Berry Smashes kept coming. James turned out to be able to make the perfect drink as well. I'll be back for sure. Y'all Holla' atchaboy'.

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!
