After an unplanned detour thru Nashville and a 6 hour layover, we found ourselves at Ole Reds for a needed meal. We each had the Hangover Helper, which was a LOT of food. The bacon and chicken strip were excellent - fresh, meaty and perfectly cooked. The gravy was meh and the biscuits just mid. However, it was overall one of the best airport meals I've had. Their coffee was hot and table service from Charlsie pushed this over to a 5 star review. Where else but Nashville can you eat a great meal with quality entertainment? My first time here at Ole Red in Nashville, Tennessee. We ordered the Nachos, chicken salad, and the steak tacos. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the fast service and the friendly service. Hannah was wonderful. A keeper! Made sure we had everything we needed. The tacos had sauce on it that we had to make sure it didn't have. She immediately took care of it for us. The food was nothing special plus they had live entertainment featuring Megan Wilder. I'm sure she is good in her own way and having her I'm sure attracted new customers but she didn't sing only country songs. It included Fleetwood Mac and Train. I thought this was a country restaurant. Oh well. Not knocking her at all, just was not expecting it. Would I come back? I'm on the fence with that one. This is a spot that does the job, pretty consistently, for a fun and easy airport experience. I fly through Nashville pretty often and I've been to Ole Red a handful of times. There is plenty of seating - bless - and the service is actually pretty fast and solid. The food and drinks are decent and I can always find something that will satiate me. Only downside is if you go during breakfast time, the menu is a little limited. And sadly, last time I was there, they were out of champagne and two of the main dishes. But don't worry, I got a drink and a meal that made me happy and gave me what I needed. I'm a big fan of the live music and chill vibes - it's just an easy place! read more

As an airport restaurant, this place isn't bad, and provides a great Nashville experience on your way in, out, or passing through. I got to the airport pretty early and was looking for a place to sit, get some food, and get some work done. I was waiting by the entrance to be seated and was informed it was open seating. We ordered the Freakshow Chardonnay (which I liked!), Vodka Soda, the Pork Tacos, and the Nachos. My daughter LOVED the pork tacos... she highly recommended them. Hubby and I split the nachos and they were decent. There wasn't a lot of cheese so I'd ask for extra or queso on the side for dipping all the naked chips if I had a do-over on the order. We liked the pickled jalapeños. I asked for a side of sour cream and was charged $1.00 for (literally) less than 1 tbsp of sour cream. We massively enjoyed eating at a place with live music - if you're gonna be in Nashville & have time to kill at the airport, why would you choose a restaurant sans live music? Our server was sweet. Ok, so obviously, it's an airport restaurant / bar. I generally have very low expectations of this combo. The layout is convenient (seat yourself), lots of tables and bar area. The servers were super friendly and helpful. The menu is what you would expect with a couple of extras thrown in for good measure. The beer options are fairly decent along with a fully stocked bar. My favorite part is that they had live music. A pair of young men who were very talented and interacted with the audience really well. This is a surprising extra that makes Ole Red just a little better than the others. read more

Was the most lively eatery at the Nashville airport given the live music and decent food. Located near the gates, Ole Red had plenty of tables and bar seating surrounding a small stage for performers. The specialized in southern dishes and offered a relatively large selection of alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately they were out of the sangria cocktails during my visit. The bartender was very fast at making drinks while the food took around 15 minutes to come out given a packed house. =ORDERED= *Kiss My Country Grilled Chicken Sammich: came with a side of fries or tater tots. Although the tots had a crispy exterior, the insides were gummy and underdone. The chicken breast was tender but the cut itself was very thin. Despite being described as balsamic marinated, nothing stood out from the average chicken breast. The ciabatta roll was cold and I was underwhelmed by the amount of red onion and arugula. The jalapeno and peach jam added some brightness but there was limited spread. *Cherry Limeade: had two and they tasted different both times. The second was notably more boozy than the first. Missed the fresh lime both times and tasted closer to cherry medicine. Wouldn't have stopped by unless I had a long layover but at least the free entertainment was pleasant. Gave me a full and buzzed stomach for an expensive price. read more

What a treat! Had an incredible dining experience at the Ole Red Restaurant in the Nashville airport. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw--what a bonus!--and the tater tots were probably the best we've ever eaten. To top it all off, rising country star Woods Weston was performing live. Airport dining can be overpriced and underwhelming but Ole Red made it enjoyable. The dining room is vast but shrinks with the live music and the warmth of the room. People tend to sing along. The food was decent and filling and the service was fast and polite. Note that the biscuit and sausage gravy was really gravy with some over cooked segments of sausage casually tossed on top. Best $20 airport cheeseburger I've had in awhile. Basically an expensive McDonalds, taste like flattop fried burger. Fries were crunchy and not too greasy. The fried chicken finger salad was a big hit. Live music too. If your looking for a quiet spot to chill, this ain't it. read more

As airport restaurants go, this one pretty good. Near the "C" gates, it was convenient for me. And, I am a fan, so I had to stop in. The setting is pretty cool, live music and designed like a bar downtown. Unfortunately, the food is about average, nothing really special. There are a lot of choices for an airport bar, it the bigger I had was mediocre at best. It tasted like it had been frozen and the bun was stale. If I were Blake (and clearly, I'm not) I'd be disappointed since this is kind of like advertising for the Broadway place downtown and doesn't make you want to go there. read more

The service is amazing my server was super attentive and amazing, the food portions for the price isn't that great, they try and make them bigger by just spreading the food out on the plates. I do love the live music and the feel of the place, it's very cozy it makes u feel like you're not at a busy airport. I would come back if the portions were fixed. The cold slaw wasn't good at first but then the manager went back to the kitchen and had them remake it with more vinegar and more flavor, it was way better then I should know I work at a bbq restaurant and make cold slaw all the time with my dad who is from Louisiana and I'm also from Tennessee so should know what good slaw is ;) To the servers again it was great! read more

This restaurant did have great live music. However my order took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it did part of it was still frozen. The manager gave me half off selling only had to pay $20 for my frozen food. The meat was not frozen so I did eat that. It was slightly warm and probably would have been delicious. If it was actually hot however, I have to say the serving sizes underwhelming it probably was a 3 ounce serving of meat. I'm just glad that with my half off discount I'm able to go grab a slice of pizza. read more

For an airport location it was great. Food was delivered quickly and hot. Tasted fresh. Service from Carly was friendly and efficient. Checked back to see if anything was needed a couple times even though she was very busy. Prices are high ($5.00 for a soft drink) but they usually are at the airport. Early morning flight with plenty of time. The restaurant was pretty empty. Two waitresses and a bartender. The bartender said we could sit anywhere they didn't have a closed sign on a table. Maybe not enough staff or they expected a rush ? Rush never came and our waitress hardly showed up at the table. The two waitresses had to discuss which of the 3 tables that they would wait on. Each table had 2 people including mine. We lost the flip cause we got the crappy waitress. She seemed put out that she had to work at all and was just not pleasant at all. Food was as mediocre as our waitress, who had the speed of someone that partied all night and needed sleep. Blake you'd be appalled at your own restaurant. I'll walk further for better food and service plentiful options in the BNA. read more

I got Ole Red's burger: burger patty, pulled pork, and a fried egg! The pulled pork was very dry but all-in-all, delicious. The tater tots are not your ordinary tater tots. They're larger and thicker, again, very good. They have live music, which is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the airport. The staff wasn't as friendly as I'd want, but they were busy and probably understaffed. Pricing was reasonable, for being in the airport. read more
