This place needs to decide if it's a bar or a restaurant, because currently it's shockingly terrible at being either. As a restaurant, the experience is miserable. The food is aggressively mediocre-- I've definitely had better at low budget theme parks and sports stadiums lmao. The music/ambience is way too loud to socialize with your party at all. Each set of the live music goes on forever, and they pump loud music during the downtime to make sure you really thoroughly can't hear anything anyone says, ever. The service is also terrible. I had to remind the server multiple times to please bring us water at all, she forgot our side sauces, and completely bungled the division of the check despite being given clear instructions. We figured it out amongst ourselves with cash rather than trying to get it fixed, because none of us had any faith in her ability to perform this simple task. As a bar, this is a complete ripoff. The pours of alcohol are laughably tiny and quite expensive, and there's an unadvertised "entertainment fee" tacked onto each check. I understand paying for a gimmick, but when the entire draw of the place is the music, just charge a cover or advertise the fee. To boot, the band (who I will say were talented) was scrounging for tips just to make sure they've wrung every last dollar out of their customers. Vegas in general is a nickel and dime culture, but this place is the worst offender I've ever been to, ever, and I literally used to live here. I've gotten better food, better service, and better alcohol for cheaper in strip clubs. HUGE pass from me. Go enjoy a street musician on the strip and get some quick-serve food, you'll save a few hundred dollars and absolutely have a better time. read more

Came here for a drink just because I was told how nice the view of the strip is from here. Went to the rooftop, and they did have a lovely view of the strip. If we didn't have other plans for the evening, I would've been content to just sit at one of the tables and just enjoy the view. That being said, drinks were just average and way overpriced - as one would expect in Vegas. Definitely not a place you would come for the drinks. It is a country bar, but the DJ was subpar. Don't know if he was unfamiliar with the acoustics of the area, but it just wasn't happening that night. Overall, if you love country music, I think you'll find yourself super satisfied with this bar. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. Our waiter, Matt was inattentive and unengaged, which took away from what should have been a great dining experience. We came on a weekend night and were pleasantly surprised that the wait to be seated wasn't too long. So I wanted to love this place as I've visited several times while it was getting built and as a change from the normal strip bars and restaurants. However I was underwhelmed. We were promptly seated and it did take a few mins for our server to come by. We placed our drink and food order at the same time and our food came out before we received our drinks even so that was a bit off putting from the start. The drinks are quite pricy and normally I wouldn't complain about the price of it's a decent well balanced drink however these were not. Raspberry fresh- Raspberry vodka, triple sec and lime. It lacked flavor and was very sweet. Didn't seem to have much alcohol in it. Ghost Blossom-Jack Daniel's, GHOST Energy, Lemon Juice, Vodka, Coconut Rum, Strawberry Puree, Simple Syrup, Elderflower Liqueur, Orange Bitters Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, Starry You get to keep the glass but there was an off putting flavor in this drink and yet again didn't seem to have much alcohol in it. Fried green tomatoes were basic like any other nothing that really stood out in terms of flavor. Maybe if the sauce was served on the side that would help. Tarot tots are huge hash brown balls topped with brisket which was dry. The fried cheese curds in it were chewy, the gravy was really good and the hot sauce was flavorful. Service started out great then went super slow. The music was the best part of Ole Red. There were two bands one on the roof which was awesome and another for the other three floors. I highly recommended rooftop seats as it's way nice to be in the warm weather and it had excellent views of the strip. The negative is that you have to make reservations for the rail seats that over look the strip even when it's slow. The drinks were average for the strip and you got to keep the glass mug or shot glass. As for the drinks it was a mixed bag nothing fancy looking some were ok and some were super gross. All their standard cocktails were made with average liquors not bottom shelf but somewhere in the middle. The food was disappointing. I had backed and it was very poorly made with greasy ground beef and cheap cheese and chips. This place is definitely a one and done even if you are a huge country music fan. read more

Well let me first off say that I have officially been to the this location and Nashville and the Las Vegas blows the original out of the water. I didn't even get to experience all the floors we were only on the first floor but we got sat right in the front right by the stage the ambience is insane and amazing being able to watch. The live music was so fun especially if you love country music. We went on a Friday and it was busy but still not too loud. Seating is only available for those who are eating so be prepared to dance or grab a standing spot by the bar. For the latter, you might need to move a bit as people get drinks. I got the NASHVILLE HOT ICED TEA, which is Vodka, Rum, Gin, Triple Sec, Sour Mix, Jack Daniel's Float, Mike's Hot Honey & Tajin Rim. It was just the right amount of bitter, sweet and spicy. I'd definitely order it again. It comes with a souvenir glass, which they traded out for me to provide me with a clean one. My husband had the ribs with mashed potatoes and I had a salad with grilled chicken breast. I ordered the "Pick Me Up" shot which I didn't shoot. I sipped and savored because I really enjoyed it and got a super cute "Ole Red" shot glass to take home as a souvenir! $15 Our waiter Alejandro was the absolute best! Date of visit: 8/25/24 In town for Mom's birthday and she is a big country music fan so of course we had to try Blake Shelton's bar/restaurant/live music venue, Ole Red! They do not take reservations so either get here early or be prepared to wait; the first night we tried to get in the line didn't budge after 20 minutes of waiting so we ended up trying a Guy Fieri place instead. We kinda had two servers as the first one took our drink order and then another waitress showed up explaining that it was a scheduling snafu, but handled it with grace and humor. The volume is a bit higher so if you want to have a quiet place to talk, this would not be the spot for you. Food is not cheap, but portions are large. The tater tots are fascinating and not like anything else I've tried. I am picky about my taters and these suckers were good! I got the club, trying to be healthy and this sucker probably had a third of a pound of deli meat on it, so fail on my part! A worthy addition to the strip on all accounts! read more

I went here with my friends after a work event. The music and vibes were good, it's just it was too loud and we couldn't hear each other when we were talking. Also, the food was expensive, and very, very bland. My burger was the Hellride burger and it was also very dry. It was a burger, potty mixed with pork shoulder and it was definitely less than ideal for sure my fries like seasoning overall and it seemed like I couldn't make a better burger at home or I could've gotten one for a cheaper and more flavorful at like Denny's. To add to it, our server was less than attentive. When I asked her to only fill my glass halfway, she replied I'm already here so I'm gonna go ahead and do it now.
