So.... With Blake Shelton involved, we hoped for a better overall experience. The drinks festive and tasty. And the servers are sweet and helpful. But the food.... We ordered menu items that sounded tasty, but were incredibly underwhelming. As a starter, we ordered steak fries and beer cheese sauce. The fries are under-seasoned, and I'd be incredibly surprised if the beer cheese didn't come out of a pouch of some sort. Beer cheese, when done right, should be delectable, memorable, and make you want more. This didn't... But we are them because we were starving and hoped the mains would be better. They weren't. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken biscuit, hoping they could match up to Yard house. It was bland, with an overabundance of salt and batter that had been slightly burnt. After two bites, I had to stop and send it back. The tater tots were crispy, but bland in taste. I was hoping for something we ate to be incredibly tasty or memorable. But such luck was not to be found. I did order a burger which, at least, was better than the chicken sandwich. My girlfriend ordered the Trash Talkin Taco Salad with a side of grilled chicken. The Taco Salad was eh, with shredded lettuce and red beans... Nothing special. It was cool that it's topped with Fritos. She are the shit out of those Fritos. But the chicken was dry. The salad was boring. She are a few bites, but it wasn't worth finishing. We had the waitress take it back. Bottom line. If you want touristy souvenir mugs for your $17 cocktails, and hit or miss mediocre food, this might be your place. Sadly, it won't be mine. read more

We looked forward to going to this place in Orlando. It was a Monday so they close at 10. It was stormy. So we parked in the garage. Raining hard so stopped in a gift shop for Panchos and umbrellas. Then made out way shelter overhangs to another getting to the place. Finally got there. 8:15. Shake off the water. Go in. They have closed the kitchen. 8:15pm. What a whuss place. Masks are required inside. No call ahead, no reservations. You give your name/number to the front and they text you when your table is ready. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes! Our server, Jan, was attentive and did an awesome job making sure our order was correct. Food came out fast and delicious. Tables are socially distanced and the live music was amazing. Had a nice evening at Ole Red! I just came for drinks. As a party-of-1, I tend to get forgotten, but they treated me really well here! I requested to be sat near the musicians, and they gave me a front-row spot. :D I ordered a couple drinks (no food), and both were delicious and strong. The frozen tea-based drink was tasty, and my old-fashioned was also nice & came with the exact bourbon I wanted. My waiter checked on me often, and was very prompt. Wish I could leave a better review. We were very excited to finally make it down to check this place out. Live band was good and atmosphere too. We got seated right away on a busy Saturday night. However, our waitress was not nice. Right off the bat said "oh you're gonna make me write this order down" and was unable to make some minor adjustments to a dish. We just wanted honey mustard on the side. Is that really too much to ask? Then she flat out said "oh we're out of that tonight" We got up and left. Should've talked to a manager. I called the next day and left a message. Cause no one answers the phone! If you like country music and can eat the dish the way it comes, then you might enjoy it. Went for dinner with five in our group. We were seated promptly and then greeted by our server. The menu was condensed due to local limitations caused by the Covid 19 protocols but still offered a variety. I had the pulled pork and it was awesome! There was live entertainment in the stage. They did mostly country with a few unexpected songs from other genres. The music was great, the volume was almost too much but as the place filled up it was still audible. Was charged a large party service fee for 6 even though food was not ordered. Was not told that the kitchen was closing, menu just picked up when we tried to order French fries. This place is great! Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and great live music. Loved the decor and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We got to try a variety of their food and had some of their cherry limeades but I forgot to take a picture but loved that I got a souvenir glass to take home. There's even an a gift shop where I was able to buy a shirt but it had a variety of souvenirs. We will be back soon! read more

Disappointing experience at Ole Red tonight, Id rate it a 1 star but it was unusual given the 4-5 star experiences Ive had in the past. The live music was good as usual, drinks as well but they only had a limited late night menu available with 5 items on it and the already limited menu was further limited as they were out of the pretzels. The nacho dish they had available also was quite disappointing for $9. I realize its a restaurant and Im going to pay a premium but the dip cups of salsa, guac and cheese were the size of $0.50-1.00 side cups and the chips were standard restaurant fare. I could have easily pieced together the double order we paid $18 for with prepackaged goods that tasted just as good if not better for well less than the $9 it cost for the single order. read more

The wait on a slow night was supposed to be 15 to 20, and it turned into 25. Ok, not a huge deal. Ordered the gator wings and BarBQ street corn. The gator wings were black on the outside and extremely tough and dry. The sauce on the corn is very vinegar forward, so maybe just a personal preference, but I couldn't eat it, so they brought me the house made tater tots with white queso dip. Those were OK. Service was ok, not great. A lot of money and hype for not great food. Wish I had taken a picture of the gator wings. They were literally black on the outside. We enjoyed our visit to Ole Red. This is a fun place that has live music. There was seven of us and we had pulled pork, brisquit, burgers, fries, and delicious homemade tator tots. Fries & tator tots come with cheese dip. We got fried pickles & green tomatoes for an appetizer and the portion was very generous enough for all 7 of us. Our server Christina was wonderful making sure we had drink refills quickly & answered any questions we had on menu items. There is a cool gift shop to visit with a couple of great spots for group pics. And a lot of us came home with Ole Red souvenir glasses that come with bar drinks. We will be back. read more

The menu is boring (presumably due to being limited due to COVID, at least I hope for their sake), but even if it's limited - have some variety, please! Basically you have to choose between an incredibly unhealthy burger, there's one salad option, and non-exciting appetizers. Also, drinks are WAY overpriced, and if you want a menu cocktail, you have to pay for the stupid souvenir cup. No thanks - why can I not just get it in a plastic cup for a couple dollars less? This place has potential, I just hope they have more to offer soon, and change the dang drink situation. Very irritating first impression. read more

Went for lunch with some friends but was completely disappointed in the food. Food didn't not come out hot. Had to return the waffle twice because it was only warm and it was hard. We I asked the waitress how it was prepared she stated that it was previously cooked then warmed on the grill and served. It was terrible. My husband and I were staying across from ICON park of few weeks ago, and the night we arrived we headed to Ole Red. It was live music night, which was cool, a bit overwhelming for my husband but he handled it well. The server worked with my husband who couldn't hear a thing he was saying. We came here back in the fall and absolutely LOVED IT. The menu has since changed, and none of us were really impressed. I got the fish sandwich, and it had ZERO flavor. My daughter enjoyed her burger, but my husband said his was just okay. Son got the Alligator wings, and he wasn't all that impressed. Would come back again because of the atmosphere. Last night in Orlando me and my wife came across this place. We like trying new places so in we went. Not huge country fans But Not Disappointed. Christina our waitress.. A night out on the town for a saturday night, a perfect place to go for a fun atmosphere, fun bartenders, and great live music. If you visit, make sure you take a trip to the outside bar, which is veyr nicely set up and always staffed with a bartender that knows their stuff. My sisters and I had the pleasure of being served by Dakota. He was fun, witty, personable, helpful, and so very attentive to all at the bar. Not one person had an empty glass or waited to be served. Nice sized venue and set up for live music but the drink pricing is outrageous. Almost $60 for a tap beer, two well drinks, and a frozen margarita at six o'clock on a weeknight?! This place has got to have some of the rudest, most inhospitable servers I have ever encountered. We came in on a slow Saturday with a large group (ready to drink a lot and wanting to order food) and the servers stood around arguing about why they wouldn't put any (empty) tables together to accommodate our party. While they argued, we ordered drinks at the bar. Finally they agreed to putting two sets of tables together and we sat down. My table had Erick as our server and he was full of eye rolls, slamming down menus, drinks, and food, and when I asked for a water - which never came - and his snarky response was "oh great, I guess that's all for you". I told him I just wanted to hydrate and would order another drink after I finished the one I was working on. He responded with "yeah sure, whatever". When our appetizer came out, he literally dropped it down on the table and then never came back to check on us. We asked to be transferred to a different server (Lauren) and she is the only thing that redeemed our experience. The food was cold, dry, and bland. Drinks were okay, average priced for a bar in a touristy area. The band was good and is the entire reason we decided to stay. As we left, I literally told people not to go there unless they wanted to be treated like complete crap by the rudest wait staff they'd ever meet. read more

Wow what a disappointment from start to finish. We had an incompetent server Bobby who took 30 minutes just to take our order, one hour to bring us water and overcharged us for items we never got. We were a party of 10 and not one of us liked our food, including the Bluetick burger, It was tasteless and overcooked. The ribs were soaked in a thick BBQ sauce that was overwhelming and actually awful. We never even had our water glasses refilled during the three hours we were there and sat with dirty dishes in front of us the entire time. Poor service, terrible food and will not be going back.
