I was frustrated with the lack of overhead lighting in my tract home (one of the sneaky ways they make tract homes cheap) and decided to shop around for an electrician to install a light box and run wire to the back of a switched outlet. I checked around for pricing and found quotes to be pretty similar, so I went with Olectric based mostly upon reviews and the fact that Olectric responded the fastest to a request for a quote (I called, the owner answered immediately). I scheduled the work to be done just a couple days out. When the day of the appointment arrived, two electricians arrived to the job exactly on time and were courteous and professional. The job didn't take much time at all and the workers cleaned up after themselves and very neatly replaced the pieces of drywall they removed which made my job of patching the couple holes left as a very easy task (patching drywall is not within their scope of work). I would not hesitate to call up Olectric again for any of my future needs and would recommend them highly to anyone who needs an electrician for renovations or emergencies. We were converting our electric stove to gas and the night before it was to be changed we realized the electric was going to have to be changed. I asked for a quote the morning I needed it via Yelp and in about 30 min I got a quote and they could be at my house at 10am! One breaker would not reset in my main panel. I called for an estimate and sent photos of the breaker and the panel to Rick. He said he could stop by and give me an estimate. My upstairs smoke alarm came on and wouldn't stop, at about 0530. Even waiting until 0700 to start trying to get help, all I got anywhere was voice mail. The smoke alarm is on a very high ceiling and even standing on a ladder I couldn't get to it to in order to disable it. I called Olectric and they had an emergency number to call, which I did, and got Rick Olivas. He asked me to text him my address and he would see if there was anyone in my area who could get there. In only a few minutes he texted me back and said he would stop and buy a smoke alarm and come by himself. He arrived promptly and it was clear he had planned a day off. Now, here's my story: from Rick who set the appointment to Darnell and Ty who did the work - I cannot say enough good about these guys. They took a rats nest problem that had the potential of being a real electrical issue (which is why I called them), and corrected it in short order. They could have taken me to the cleaners, but they fixed the problem in less than an hour. Darnell and Ty, as a team, did the trouble shooting and corrected the problem in short order.
