I don't know what's taken me so long to write this review but I got married here and, other than my husband, is the best decision I made that day! The experience was amazing from beginning to end. They're incredibly organized, have great food options (no dry wedding chicken!), and even helped add all my crazy bride touches without complaining. The night was absolutely perfect, and we still get compliments three years later on how great the experience was. The fire pits were such a nice perk for our guests, and the fact that they have an Airbnb next door where you can stay on your wedding night without having to drag your butt home is another one of their thoughtful amenities. This place is a well-oiled machine but still has lots of charm and character. Best of all, it's affordable! If you're looking for a great wedding venue, there's no better place than Olivia/La Verona. Thank you to the whole staff for making it a perfect day

I am visiting family in St. Louis and have been to Oliva's a handful of times now. I can truly say I love love this place! They have very limited hours and really only do lunch and events/parties (outside those hours). They share a parking lot with an antique store so it can get crowded and busy. But there is also street parking. When you enter in they have a separate area where you place your order that also is a giftshop with kitchen knick knacks etc. Its super cute! They are very friendly and can answer any questions about the menu and also do modifications. The menu is lunch focused- sandwiches, salads, etc. You get a table number after you order and seat yourself. They have an outdoor seating area in addition to an indoor one which is across from the firepit area. Both are lovely! This time we choose to sit outside. I got the chicken and cherry salad (with all romaine no arugula) and my friend got the Turkey BLT minus guacamole. The sandwich comes with waffle sweet potato fries and a side of dipping sauce. The food is so fresh and always delicious! I have also had the meatball sandwich and that is amazing. The day we went it was really crowded so they took a bit longer than normal to get all the food out, which is understandable. Highly recommend this place! Overall experience 5/5

Oliva is going to be a repeat spot now. Their Wine Down Wednesday is absolutely perfect. The patio is beautiful with a nice set up, I love the walk up bar and easy way to grab waters, plus there is a cute cafe to check out! The staff was friendly and helpful in their recommendations and I can't wait to go back. Thanks Oliva :)

Such a cute place! If you have not tried this super cute, tucked away lunch spot, you are missing out. It is way down at the end of the street. You will think you are lost but you aren't! You order as you walk in and after you enter this beautiful patio with an arbor draped with wisteria. It is so beautiful! They have wonderful choices for lunch. Great, really fresh salads, quiche, soups. I had a goat cheese cherry salad and I woofed it down. It was so good. They have wine and beer, teas and other drink choices. Staff is friendly and attentive. An added bonus is the antique mall next door. Go in and see some interesting things! The hours are only until 2 (I think). Wine down Wednesdays are popular so check that out!

Love, love, LOVE!! I'd been hearing such good things about Oliva's Wine Down Wednesday & finally made an appearance. Great beverage selections & the food menu (while limited) has some truly delicious options. You've got to try the flatbread & spinach artichoke dip. They have 2 outdoor patio options--one in the sun & one covered courtesy of wisteria (quite lovely). The indoor seating is great too! They had plenty of servers who were friendly so while it was busy, food & such came out in a timely fashion. I very much enjoyed visiting & will be back!

Mimosa!!! It is too good. I would have taken a picture before but I drank it a little too fast. Flavor amazing!

Food, drinks, service, vibe, ambiance, all good prices and amazing. HIGHLY recommended! The servers are so nice and quick. Definitely coming back and recommending to friends and family!

Great spot for a lunch with friends weekday or otherwise . They have salads , sandwiches and a kids menu . You order at the counter and they bring the food to you . There was only one server for the entire patio but she was efficient and friendly . We had tea with our meal but they have a wide selection of beverages : coffee , soda , flavored sparkling waters and wine . They do a wine down Wednesday evening and that is a lot of fun ! Make sure to visit the antique store next door . It's great :)

A secret garden in the heart of The Hill neighborhood. There is a small parking lot and street parking available. You enter through the side door into the store to place your order. The menu boasts salads, sandwiches, and flat breads. We ordered the Cesar salad and the Italian sandwich with sweet potato fries made a perfect meal. A glass of rose' for a warm after noon rounded out the menu. You walk through the side door out to the garden. It's absolutely enchanting. A pergola covered in vines and tree branches making for a comfortable place to sit and relax. The service was prompt and friendly.

Okay WHAT IS THIS PLACE. It's so freaking good! We were looking for a somewhat quick lunch, and this popped up in the area we were in. We were super surprised there's plenty of parking - both a large parking lot and specific street parking. It was so nice since the Hill is usually so packed. You order food in their cute little boutique, they have only a few options but they are all so good! I had the meatball sub and omg so much flavor. My fiancé got the Italian panini and it was also great, the flavor profiles went so well together. They were both served with sweet potato waffle fries with garlic aioli which was honestly just as good as the sandwiches, I could eat them every day. Great lunch spot! They also have s beautiful patio for nicer weather that I can't wait to utilize. Their indoor space is an event venue and is so pretty worn stained glass and a comfy, welcoming feel. Loved the whole experience. Truly a hidden gem!

Quaint wedding venue! My best friend and I visited on Wine Down Wednesday and enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was just okay - baked Brie, pretzels, and sweet potato fries all came out lukewarm. Pinot noir was very light, but the Sangria was a refreshing surprise! Plenty of cozy indoor seating for chilly days, and outdoor seating with fire pits for a romantic glow. Great vibe for date night or girls' night out - will definitely return for the great drinks but may skip the food!

Wine Down Wednesdays, need I say more? Well I should because that's the only day this gorgeous hidden patio is open for your enjoyment! The small tapas menu will have something for everyone's palette and all pair perfectly with their glasses of wine. Oliva's Wine Down Wednesday is perfect for a girls night out! My favorites: Artisan Cheese Board & the Baked Goat Cheese with Caramelized Onion and Figs

There are only about 12 to 13 seating options, with only about 5 or 6 of them being non-bar height options. Nikki was our server; she was awesome, helpful & attentive! Everything is a la carte. Boooooooo! Lol. I'm not a huge fan of restaurants that serve a la carte. But whatevs. I started with the Charleston drink. It was good and strong; came out in a fancy box w a lil smoke. It was semi dramatic, lol. We decided to order the collards and spinach artichoke dip to start with. It was good. It gave spinach and artichoke dip for the most part. The seasoned saltine crackers that accompanied that were not my favorite, but not the worst, & we had to ask for more to finish the dip (we were unexpectedly charged for them -_____-). I wish it was pita bread or pita chips instead, but I guess the crackers are Lucy's special touch. We finally decide on food; she got the catfish po boy, I got the brisket sandwich. She said her sandwich was FIRE but I didn't try it so I can't speak to that unfortunately. My brisket sandwich was ok; it had queso on it and it was kinda cold which was wack. The sandwich was a decent size for sure, I just could have went for a different bread personally. The ciabatta bread overpowered the actual meat. I asked for bbq sauce to dip and eat pieces of the brisket. I want to come back and try the Brussels and catfish po boy myself.

So Awesome!! - - - -…read more- - - - August, 2026 Visit Yes!! This is our second time here, and our daughter has been here countless times. Today we needed to fuel up before starting out on a road trip and we did just that - fill up with tasty goodness!! It was a mid-afternoon departure; I debated on how much to each; we filled up just enough, and had leftovers for later in the evening; a fantastic dining experience, in-restaurant and in the hotel once we arrived in NW Indiana. Tim was a great help, welcoming us, helping with the order and delivering our food. We enjoyed: - steak wrap with side of veggies - Steak and Asian veggies - a side of brisket - oh so good! - Steak wrap, which was as good 5 hours later as it was in the restaurant The lemongrass pesto sauce is so amazing you can drink it and just enjoy the goodness as it overwhelms you. We also enjoyed the fountain drinks... 80% cherry cola with a 20% mix of the lemonade - quite nice!! Thanks, Lona's Lil Eats!!

Great spot to walk to on a nice day! There's also a lot of parking beside and behind the building, so no excuses on having a tough time getting there. There are 2 doors in, 1 for pickup orders and 1 for dine in. The dine in door leads to you a line/maze that ends at the front counter (where you order) this gives you time to look over the paper menus, or the tv menus boards. I went with the paper ones since the boards were hard to see from that distance. (Old eyes I guess!) It was odd that the dine in door maze went past a cooler and soda station for pickup orders. Ordering was easy and the young lady was helpful in explaining what was spicy or not. We got the big Thai wrap and a seasonal noodle bowl. They also give you a number for your table and directed us up a ramp to the dining area. The ramp/floor isn't consistent in its slope, so pay attention when walking up there. The dining area is painted in bright colors, with funky light fixtures and chairs. Very bright and colorful. There was a musty smell in the area that we sat, which reminded us of an old basement. The food came out pretty quickly and looked great! We enjoyed both dishes and agreed that the spicy eggplant was our favorite flavor. The plan for next time is the seasonal noodle bowl with chicken, spicy sesame sauce and chopped spicy eggplant on top. If you have the opportunity, give this a try!

All were pretty good, probably beef sliders were my least favorite. Both the Thai chili and Buffalo wings were delicious and high quality wings. My only complaint is they had music trivia/karaoke that hardly anyone was participating in and made it pretty loud in the small area.
