SO tasty! They brought us a variety of sauces to try and they were all good. It is a little spendy but worth it for quality ingredients and freshly baked bread. And the owners are so friendly and accommodating - customizing sandwiches, wrapping half sandwiches for later (the portions are very generous) and making sure we were enjoying our lunch. It's so great to support good people working hard to run a business. We are fans and we'll be back! Ps. There is charge for using a credit card. My husband hates that so he would have paid cash had he known. Maybe a note at the register letting people know?

This was a bait and switch for sure. The images show a hearty portion of meat, but in reality the sandwiches are all bread. The cookies was soft and tasted fine. Nothing special. I will not be back, but glad I tried something new

I got a sandwich (mortadella, burrata, pistachio), 3 croix's (strawberry and cream, everything, and pistachio), and a black cold brew. Food came out in about 10 mins (about the time it took to write this review and take a couple pics). Food was really good - bread was super crunchy and everything was very flavorful. Not gonna go in detail. Try it yourself. I promise it's worth waking up at 7am and driving out here! Note - while I didn't get any, I did notice that the sourdough is premade and you get it instantly.

I recently visited Olive Burger at 5620 State Highway 121 in Plano, Texas, and had a very concerning experience. We placed an order through the drive-thru, which included a cheeseburger, a jalapeño cheeseburger, a drink, and a chocolate shake. Partway through drinking my shake, I choked on a large piece of brown plastic that had come through the straw. Thankfully, we were still in the parking lot, as we had to leave soon for Jummah prayer. I immediately went back to the drive-thru to report the incident. The young employee who handed me the shake was shocked and admitted, "Oh my God! That's the plastic from the chocolate bottle cap." I then requested to speak to the manager, hoping for some accountability and a resolution. Unfortunately, the manager I encountered was incredibly unprofessional. He dismissed my concerns, accused me of lying, and even bragged about owning five restaurants and having 15 years of industry experience. Despite his claims, he demonstrated absolutely no professionalism or customer service skills. Instead of addressing the issue responsibly, he refused to take accountability--even though his own employee had already acknowledged the source of the plastic. His behavior, including chewing on a toothpick while speaking to me, was insulting and disrespectful. This was not just about the shake--it was about safety and accountability. Swallowing a piece of plastic due to negligence is unacceptable, and the manager's dismissive attitude made the situation even worse. To the manager: If you ever face a similar situation, I hope you remember this incident. Treating customers with care and respect is a basic expectation, especially when your negligence puts someone's health at risk. I would caution others to think twice before visiting this location. read more

I have been at Olive burger several times . They have the most delicious veggie burgers I have ever tasted and they customized it to the way I like it , with lettuce wrap instead of bread . The French fries are to die for, very crispy and tasty. Food is fresh and made to order . I had the pleasure to meet the general manager whom always welcome me and my party and gives us personal attention, he remembers what I like . So not only was the meal disappointing, I ended up being the unfortunate victim of what I believe was food poisoning afterward. Definitely not the kind of experience anyone expects after paying for a meal. To the owners: this was money wasted, and I sincerely hope you take food quality control and service standards more seriously. Customers shouldn't leave your restaurant wondering whether their dinner is going to make them throw up due to food poisoning couple of hours later. Fortunately, DFW has no shortage of restaurants, and the competition here is fierce. With so many alternatives, second chances aren't guaranteed. Restaurants that can't consistently maintain food quality and service standards eventually lose customers to places that can. For us, Sinbad was a one-and-done experience. The name may be Sinbad, but unfortunately, the food was a "sin" to consume since it was so "bad" (no pun intended.)

The fries were good, but they weren't the standouts in this meal. The burger and the orange-cream soda were more memorable. Although the place was very clean, and I was sitting indoors, where there are lots of tables and bar seating, there was one aggravation: aggressive fruit flies that have no fear of humans, so it was nearly impossible to swat them away. Thankfully, they were not mosquitoes, but it was impossible to keep them from crawling on my cup and food no matter where I sat in the large dining room room. Although the burger was good, prices are probably a bit high for what you get. That together with the fruit flies resulted in my three-star rating. If you can find a day when the flies are calmer, and you're not paying out-of-pocket (as was the case when I went), it might be worth a try if you are needing a quick meal within walking distance of your hotel.
