Went for dinner tonight. We were seated outside and service was slow. We had to ask for silverware three times. Our dinner came out and my wife's Cuban sandwich had way too much mustard. My chicken parmesan pizza style was burnt. You can tell they knew it was burnt because they tried to hide it underneath more spices. My dinner also didn't have the alfredo sauce on the pasta so it was dry. The chicken had a weird texture where you can tell it was over cooked with the hard bits, but mushy where the chicken had the tomato sauce, so that makes me think it was sitting under a heat lamp after being burnt. We've eaten a here a few times and tonight was a let down. We will probably only come here for cheesecake and appetizers. Food is too expensive to be that bad. read more

I visited on 6/13/2026 the first time in several years. I had a good impression last time, but I felt cheated this time. They have an extensive menu, so this is only regarding the items I selected: Steak frites and cubano sandwich. I was thoroughly disaapointed with the portion size and condition of the steak. It was roughly a square, and doused with sauce. It was Choice steak for sure, and kind of tough. (I have nothing against Choice steak as it can be cooked well.) And it was over $30. I know beef is high right now, but that was outrageous. It reminded me of something from an 'upscale' America's Diner. Not impressed at all. The cubano was better, but at the price it didn't seem that good. There's a SoCal Cuban bakery/cafe chain that is far better, and far less expensive. Based on this visit, I may try it one more time but I really don't want to waste my $$$. read more

Ate here May 1, 2026 (Friday) night and was really excited since it had been a while. I've always loved The Cheesecake Factory--just not the long lines. Luckily, my partner and I only waited about 20 minutes when we arrived around 9:30pm, which honestly surprised me because it was still super busy and lively. Food took about 40 minutes. We were seated and got bread right away, which was great because we were starving. Our server was nice, but it took quite a while for her to come take our order and check on us afterward. Food-wise, the Pasta Da Vinci was decent, but the sauce was watery, it's usually much thicker. The real disappointment was the Jambalaya. The pasta itself was completely unseasoned, and only the chicken and shrimp had any flavor. My partner usually doesn't like to complain, but even he didn't enjoy it. When I tried it, I was honestly shocked. Paying $30 for bland pasta was really disappointing. We also ordered the Parmesan truffle fries, and they were drenched in oil. It tasted like they weren't drained properly, so the oil completely overpowered the flavor and made them hard to enjoy. For a Cheesecake Factory, this is pretty consistent. (I base this 4/5 review on this premise... lol!) We come here every once in a while when we go to the Santa Anita mall. It's accessible from outside the mall right by the food court. We've never had to wait to be seated. They're very accommodating with children, indoor or outdoor seating. There's also a children's menu. Service is always very kind and attentive. Food... goodness.... The menu at CF always gives me anxiety bc it's basically an encyclopedia of food. The food is pretty much mediocre in my book but (as stated above) for a CF, it's pretty standard. I honestly can't say I have a favorite dish. lol!!! But we did have the stuffed mushroom appetizer and thought that was yummy. Also, we always appreciate the complimentary bread and butter! The children's portions are also huge especially for a toddler. We got the jambalaya and it was just okay.... Overcooked noodles. First off, Alex is a phenomenal server. He fixed our crazy wobbly table issue outside on the patio by helping us with musical tables until we got it right, got someone to get our heater lamp turned on, never missed a request, and kept that delicious factory bread and drinks coming even though he had to always go inside to handle other tables. We haven't been to Cheesecake Factory for anything other than dessert for a long time and was surprised at the quality, portioning, and flavor of what we ordered. We had the classic avocado eggrolls which have not changed. Delicious and fresh with that great tamarind dipping sauce. My husband had some grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly and I tried the Peruvian chicken bowl because I was feeling like plantains and it did not disappoint. For a bowl, I was surprised it had two super tender chicken breasts in it along with black beans, plantains, rice, and salsa. It was perfect for what I was craving at the time and a generous serving of it. Finished everything off with Godiva and lemon raspberry cheesecakes. Godiva is the must for chocolate lovers and the lemon raspberry for something cakes, fruity, and sweet/tart. I recently visited The Cheesecake Factory and unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. The food itself was mediocre at best. Nothing really stood out, especially considering the price point. For a place with such a big reputation and menu, I expected a lot more in terms of flavor and quality. We have never had a bad experience with any of the staff here for the years we've been coming. Staff is always friendly & helpful! They are a VERY busy restaurant so wait times will ALWAYS vary, definitely recommend becoming a rewards member to be able to book a reservation and avoid the lines. We came to Cheesecake Factory in Arcadia for dinner. The fish and chips were crispy and perfectly cooked, and the Steak Diane was super flavorful and tender. The Pasta Da Vinci and Cajun Jambalaya Pasta were both packed with flavor, definitely great choices if you like something rich and satisfying. I have been going to cheesecake factory for years but usually we get takeout with my family. This time I was hanging out with friends and we decided to eat there. First of all I just want to say that the patio was closed and that they specifically opened the patio for us because we requested it so thank you so much for their excellent service and for their accommodation. Since we're starting off on service their service was excellent they checked on us multiple times and got our order quickly and served our food quickly. I also want to add that I told them that I wanted to use my birthday cheesecake coupon and the server was really awesome and took care of that for me. She also wrote a wonderful message on my cheesecake which she didn't have to do. I didn't get her name but she even sang Happy Birthday with my friends. Very sweet of her. The food is excellent as always I love getting either the pasta da Vinci which my friend got and I got the farfalle with chicken and roasted garlic. I forgot when my other friend got but her pasta was also very good we all tried each other's. The cheesecake was good as well it was a super big piece and I shared it with my friends. I came with a big group of 8 and we were seated within 10 minutes. We didn't get a water refill once during the time we dined here. It wasn't our first time dining at this restaurant but always noticed that our server would always disappear when we're eating. The table shared 2 small crab bites and 1 calamari. This came relatively fast. We had ordered this the same time as our entrees. Over the years, the portions definitely got smaller. Both dishes were delicious and fresh tasting. I ordered the lunch chicken caesar salad and someone else at my table did too. Our salads looked completely different in size. Mine was perfectly filled with an appropriate amount of romaine lettuce but the other one had barely any lettuce. Overall, I thought it was an average salad. The chicken was an additional $2.50 to add on and you can choose between grilled and breaded. This Cheesecake Factory location is hit or miss. Most of the time it's insanely busy, with very slow service, and mediocre food. Recently I went there on a Friday afternoon around 4:00 and had a much different experience. We were seated right away, the server told us the Happy Hour was just starting and gave us a Happy Hour menu, and she provided the best service we've ever had at this location. We had a couple of cocktails, indulged in the appetizers, and got cake and cheesecake to go for later in the evening. The fried mac and cheese balls were so tasty. My family gets them all the time but I had never tried them. I was so surprised at how flavorful they were. I would definitely order them again. The pretzel bites and cheddar cheese fondue was also excellent. I've also never had a bad seared ahi tuna salad here; it's consistently good at all locations. I was very surprised at how good the Happy Hour mojito was. Some places give you a smaller glass or less alcohol if it's Happy Hour but here! My drink was great! We also sat in the bar area but at a booth so the lighting was great. Sometimes when we sit deeper in the restaurant it can be quite dark. Overall, even though it's not the best restaurant around, we keep coming back. Happy Hour was still open seating, but they recently took out one seating section for regular diners. We had to wait for one of the bar seats or high tables to open up. The waitress brought us water and molasses/sourdough bread after we sat down for a while. We got our usual "Happy Hour" Burger for $10.99. Also got the Chicken Taquitos for $9.99. The taquitos took about 45 minutes to come out. We had to remind our waitress after we were nearly done with our burgers. My wife and two boys came here to celebrate her birthday. However, when I ordered, I was told it would be a green, vegetable-based linguine, but it ended up being a white linguine with only a few pieces of green linguine. The linguine itself was fine, but it tasted too soupy, like it wasn't properly drained before serving. I was a bit disappointed, but my wife was kind enough to share some of her Korean Fried Chicken. Next time, I'd like to try the Monte Cristo, as it's only available on weekends. We usually go during the week, so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. We had a slight disagreement about which cheesecake to order, but we decided on the Strawberry one, as it's a bestseller, and our son loves strawberries. Our server mentioned they were having issues with the whipped cream machine, which is why it looked a little messy. It didn't matter to us, though, as the Strawberry Cheesecake was amazing! We walked in and were seated immediately on a Friday afternoon. Hostess and Waitress were super nice. Restrooms were clean. We started off with water and bread/butter. The bread was hot and fresh. We ordered the 4 cheese pasta (lunch portion) and a chicken fettuccine alfredo (dinner portion -- I came with an appetite, okay) with ginger ale and ginger beer. Everything tasted good and was on point but what I didn't like was that the lunch and dinner pasta portions were the same exact amount. The only difference was that the dinner plate it self was bigger but don't try to play your customers Cheesecake Factory... I saw the equal portions in both pastas and it made me feel some type of way (side eyeing y'all) brought it up to the waitress and I gave her some good laughs but she couldn't deny that what I pointed out was truth! Ok, we have been enjoying the Arcadia location for several years, and have actually made friends with several of the staff. Tonight's visit seemed off from the time we walked in. First, we noticed that we did not see anyone working that we knew, nobody. That was very odd, because there is always at least one person we know working. When we were greeted I told them our seating preference but they didn't ask our name, I had to ask them if they wanted my phone number. It was a busy night, and we were seated fairly soon. Our server came by and introduced himself as Michael and he took our drink orders. When he brought our drinks he took our dinner order, very nice. At some point before our food was served our server evidently changed, a young lady came over and said she would have our order out soon, and she didn't introduce herself. When did our server change? Nobody let us know about a change. Our food was delivered, and good as usual. My husband wanted to take a piece of cheesecake to go, so he ordered the Chocolate Mousse which he's ordered countless times before. When they brought it out, we looked and the piece was so small, I'd say about half the size serving as the last time we had cheesecake there. So as we exited we asked the manager about the small size, he said he would correct it and took the bag we had with him. He returned and said I hope this is better, well it was barely larger than the first piece. I've shared pictures, one has my hand next to it for size perspective. For the price, I don't think we'll be ordering cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory again. We'll definitely be back, but another experience like tonight won't be enjoyable. read more
