My previous review here is over two years old and pre-pandemic so it's good to let everyone know how restaurants are doing after those crippling lockdowns. Since I was by myself today, I was seated in a booth in the bar area which makes for a cozy and intimate atmosphere with only four booths and ten stools at the bar. I ordered the Lasagna Classico with the meat sauce and their AWESOME Never Ending Salad and Breadsticks. Although I am a soup lover, I have never been able try any of their soups because I think their salads are one the VERY BEST salads ever created. Of course its the Italian dressing that really makes it so wonderful. Did you know they bottle their dressing and market it directly to the consumer? I've purchased it at Sam's Club often. My lasagna today was equally good as well. So is the Chicken Parmigiana, the Lasagna Fritta appetizer, the Tour of Italy entree, and their Fettuccine Alfredo that I have ordered regularly in the past. Today's meal was top notch and exactly what you would expect. Today's service was excellent. My server, Amanda L, a ten year employee, was very friendly and personable. She took very good care of me, checking in multiple times. She is exactly what you hope for, an employee that goes above & beyond your expectations. In fact multiple servers were smiling at me and making eye contact which is getting to be rare these days. The bottom line is the restaurant is still as good as it has ever been if not better.

We have wanted to eat at Olive Garden for a while now. We arrived around 11:30 and it was already busy. Our wait person was the bar tender, and she took good care of us. Everything was great. For a chain restaurant they aren't bad.

Sticky, disgusting table we were sat at.

It's not because Olive Garden doesn't have good food, they do. But for the absolutely disgusting table and disgusting appearance of the restaurant does this get only one star. The table (seen in pictures) needed replaced years ago, barely was attached to the wall, and was so sticky my menu literally stuck to the table. When we asked the server for a rag to attempt clean it up, once her visible disgust went away she came back with a wet paper napkin. That didn't help. This doesn't even begin to describe the black on the walls everywhere and the general run down state of the establishment.

We had a good time in celebration of my mother-in-law's 75th birthday. Patrick, the waiter is very accommodating & cheerful. She was given a complimentary cake which is nice of him without us asking. We all split the cake & enjoyed it! The ambience is nice & peaceful, food is okay & the service is good.

Brayden was super helpful, welcoming, kind, and a great representative of not only this Kirkwood location, but of the company as a whole. Also, my food was fresh, plentiful, and super flavorful. GREAT RESTAURANT FOR A WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER IN BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA…read more================================================== My son and his wife reserved the back room at Farm Bloomington on Friday, June 19, 2026 and it was very nice. Our group of about forty filled the room. My daughter-in-law put some things on the tables which was a nice touch. We had a set menu with appetizers and main course options along with two drink coupons each. The room was very nice, the food was good and the service was great. I would highly recommend booking this room for a large group.

We tried calling several times throughout the day to notify FARM that we needed to change the reservation because two of our guests were ill and would not be able to join. The restaurant's phone just kept forwarding to voicemail. We arrived at our reservation time and were told that we would be charged via OpenTable for the guests who did not join. When I mentioned the phone issue, the hostess said that it did not matter if we had called today, because the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. I did not know they would be ill 24 hours prior to the reservation - but whatever. I was not happy, but did not argue the issue. We were seated, only to find that there was a prefix "Valentine's Day Menu". We thought that was interesting because we had researched the website & menu before the evening, and there was no mention of this menu being the only option for Friday (2/13) night. Even the menu PDF says "Valentine's Day" - there were signs throughout the restaurant noting "Valentine's Day Menu". The server also mentioned that many other patrons were upset. The items on the menu were also priced far higher than the regular menu. So, we were excited to try FARM, arrived to a very sassy attitude (from the host) about the party size, noting that I was going to be charged. Getting to the table to see a modified menu, whose prices were jacked up. The (very sweet) server validated our feelings and confirmed that other patrons were upset, too. We finally just decided to leave. On the way out, the "sassy" host was snarky and mentioned that we would likely be charged again for the remaining guests leaving and not eating. I have pictures of the signs, and screenshots of the website - and I dare FARM to charge me for their false advertising. At least note the website, signage, and OpenTable if you are following modified menus or processes, and train your team better!! We were thrilled to try FARM, and left saying that we would NEVER go back. So disappointed :(

My Thai on the westside of Bloomington is not merely a restaurant…read more It is an institution. A temple. A weekly ritual site. A blessed carbohydrate-and-curry sanctuary where my family has been eating once a week for ten years, which in restaurant loyalty years is basically a dynastic blood oath. I have eaten here through different seasons of life, different levels of exhaustion, different versions of myself, and probably several minor existential collapses. And through it all, My Thai has remained the most consistent restaurant I have ever eaten at. Not "pretty consistent." Not "usually good." I mean shockingly, mathematically, almost suspiciously consistent. Like somewhere in the back there is a monk, a wizard, and a very serious Thai grandmother operating a flavor reactor calibrated by NASA. My go-to is the Pad Prik King with chicken, because I am a simple man with a complicated nervous system and a deep spiritual need for spicy green beans. The green beans come in hot and crunchy like they are ready to fight for their honor. The sauce is rich, spicy, savory, and just the right amount of "hello, your face is awake now." The chicken is there doing noble chicken work. Bawk bawk, little warrior. Bawk bawk. This dish does not ask for attention. It seizes it. It kicks open the door wearing sunglasses, throws a handful of basil into the air, and says, "Get in, we're going to flavor town, but the weird respectable Bloomington version." And the best part? It is always good. Always. For ten years. Do you understand how rare that is? I have seen empires rise and fall faster than the quality control at My Thai. The service is friendly, the food is dependable, and the whole place has the comforting energy of, "Yes, the world is strange and unstable, but your Pad Prik King will still arrive correctly." That matters. Five stars. Ten years of loyal service. My Thai westside is one of Bloomington's great constants, and my spicy green bean chicken kingdom remains undefeated. BIG BADA BOOM!

Another liked her muffaletta, but wished she'd ordered more than a cold sandwich - as tall and as full as it was. My partner and I shared the meatball grinder appetizer. Best meatball I've ever had. There were three meatballs (each one looked as big as a tennis ball!) with little garlic crostinis circling them on the plate. We each ate one and took the other home, which he happily ate the next day. Delicious! Our hostess/server Lanie was the hardest working server I've ever seen, and always with a smile that carried to her voice and eyes. Although we went there to check out mosaic supplies in an art store, I'd easily go back here just for the food! Inside, the restaurant was Diner-noisy. Outside in the pavilion, it was very pleasant.

While good, $19+ for a sandwich and kettle chips is pretty steep no matter how you cut it. Speaking of cutting it, I ordered the Spicy Arriabiata which was slic3d so awkwardly it was almost impossible to eat as a sandwich. Instead of being cute, try slicing it in half so it can be eaten next time. Overall the food was actually good, service was good and properly attentive. Will I go back? Probably not. Kind of feels like a been there, done that type of experience. Dinner for 2 with a cocktail and wine and 2 sandwiches cost $85. Probably cancel spend that elsewhere and get a better dinner.

I'll be there more often now that I've experienced it in person. Prior to my recent visit for my son's birthday, I had only enjoyed carryout from Da Vinci. Usually a pizza, sometimes the Chicken Parm which is often a go-to Italian dish for me and both were good. But not mind blowing good, especially for the price. We ordered it for some variety, and enjoyed it, but going in person was a completely different experience. We went on a Wednesday night (half-price wine bottle night) and it was crowded. I understand it's always crowded and is only open for evenings during the week. But we were seated immediately as there were only three of us. There were a couple of larger groups waiting for a big table. The restaurant is downtown'ish' and the parking isn't the best, but plenty of side streets around and we were able to get a spot within a block. The only real parking lot is across the street and is owned by the church charging $7 a day for parking. Not sure what the evening rules are and I was neither interested in paying $7 to park in Bloomington nor being towed so we went with a slightly longer walk. Table started with the garlic cheese bread appetizer. It was huge. A full platter of their special bread, cheese and a sauce that may have had some ricotta in it but that didn't deter me from liking it. Normally ricotta is an automatic 'no' but it was delish. I might mention they also provide a carafe full of water so I didn't have to wait for constant refills, which is a great addition. For our mains, son and wife ordered pizzas, and I had the chicken parm. Both enjoyed their pizzas of course and luckily wife didn't eat all of hers so I was able to enjoy a piece as well. The pizzas are individual sized, though on the larger side - maybe 12"? Still a bit pricey at around $18 for a 12" pizza which is probably why I didn't love the delivery option. Plenty of delivered pizzas in Bloomington below that price point. But in the restaurant which was nicely decorated, great service, etc. it seemed appropriate. My chicken parm was amazing. Plenty of pasta on the side, just the right amount of gooey cheese on the chicken and all in all a great dish. Much like the delivery reaction to the pizza, the price and quality in the restaurant for my dish was just better than the delivery option. My only complaint might be that with my pasta/chicken dish a piece or two of bread would have been nice. We were full and didn't have dessert. A great experience, and we will definitely return. For a town that has just about every ethnic food option available it's remarkably under-served in the Italian space. Now that I have this as a sit-down option, the world is a little better. Next time I'm sitting outside on the patio, it looked like fun as well.
