I have been reading OG reviews for the past few years, and they are a mixed bag of great to terrible, terrible to great. This was my first time to OG. I went with a friend. Where it lacked: When we arrived, we were told there was a 15-20-minute wait, though the place was very quiet and we could see lots of empty tables. My friend said OK and said to the matière D that we would wait in the bar. The matière D nodded his head yes but never asked her for her name, no did he write down that '2' were waiting in the bar area. In the bar area, the bar tender was absent for what seemed like a long time, then when he appeared and my friend ordered a drink, he said he had to send someone to get a bottle of the booze she had ordered. So this took about ten minutes and still there was no table for us, at least that is what we concluded, remembering that the matiere D never took our names. After 25 minutes of hanging in the bar, my friend asked for a manager, and we were told the manager was not in this day. OMG. NOTE: There were at least four tables in the bar area that we could have been offered when we came in. These were perfectly fine and were all empty. The bartender asked some one to help us, and that person was very upfront and stated to us that she recognized that we 'we lost' in their system, to which I replied ... you mean lack of system. None the less, we were ushered out of the bar area and seated. With all the raves about the bread sticks, I thought they were nothing special and I do wish they would serve them with butter. A bit too many crotons in the salad but a totally beautiful robust mix it was and all the ingredients were cleary fresh. It did not lack of their signature salad dressing. I was under the impression from reading 'stuff' on the internet that the meal included both salad and soup, but soup was not included. I did want to try the Chicken & Gnocchi and when ordering that the server stated it would be no charge. That was a nice gesture. The soup was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it so much that when I got home, I looked for a copycat recipe of it on line. My entree was the Shrimp Alfredo. The server offered to top it with broccoli which I said a yes to. This dish arrived and it was perfect. The flavors were great. The noodles were cooked nicely and the topping of broccoli really did add something to the dish. The portion size was so large that I took home quite a large left over. Same with the salad. I took home a very large portion of salad. And, although there were bread sticks on the table that were not touched by us, the server came by and offered to bring more bread sticks which we said yes too and here too I took some of these home. Though as stated at the beginning of this review, I did not find anything special about them. I ordered a coke and friend ordered another beverage but we had to ask for straws. My friend ordered a steak dish which I though was a mistake to order. This is not a steak house, but she was pleasantly surprised how tasty the meat was and it was prepared to medium as she had requested. We shared the chocolate lasagna cake for dessert. It was very good. When the bill came we were pleasantly surprised that we ate for under one hundred bucks which included the bar drink and the beverages ordered with the meal. Almost in Unisom, as we were leaving, we looked at each other and said 'we'll definitely come back here'. read more

Two of us went to dine at this location for a late lunch. Lots of seating available. Free parking in huge shared lot. Best Buys, Kohl's and a few other shops in open outdoor mall area off Shore Road. ADA compliant location. Service was great (very few customers there). The two dishes we had: 1. Lasagna - so small it could be meant for people on diet, but it was decent tasting; and 2. Chicken Parm - guest enjoyed chicken, absolutely hated the spagetti. The chicken dish was a bit more generous in size than lasagna. They do provide endless salad and bread sticks with meal. The salad was abundant, cold and tasted fresh although it seemed like it chopped up entire head of lettuce and tossed in the stem as well. Nothjng exciting here but was refreshing mostly lettuce. Breadsticks came out warm and for the guest, they enjoyed it. They had a deal where if you purchased a meal, and it cost more than the regular price by about $6+ you get to take home a choice of one of three dishes. They were all pretty much just pasta dishes. Yep, the same as I can quickly make in 8 minutesnatbhome for $2. There were other dishes but they had add on fees. After computing what the dishes were, and comparing the increased dish price vs. regular price if you don't go for the take one deal, the option is really as value basedband worth it if you really thought through the added costs and what yo'd take home. Summarily, it seemed like a good deal at face value but it was pure bait dangled in front of hungry patrons who don't think it through. The restrooms were clean and spacious. The hostess was just there, doing her job. When we left they didn't even pay attention to us at the exit as she was discussing some personal stuff with I believe a waitress. Waiter did a great job. Although we were seated quickly - again other than two other tables we were the only customers there. It was filling up as we were leaving - afternoon early bird time. Would I go there again? Not to this location, but due to the cost vs. what you receive, you could probably choose other better deal at other restaurants with better tasting entrees, even in competing chains. I came here on Valentine's Day, which is supposed to be a special day. I drove about an hour and a half from Connecticut hoping to enjoy a great meal and a nice experience. When we arrived, we waited to be seated, which I completely understood because it's a busy holiday. However, what really didn't sit right with me was how rushed our waitress made us feel the entire time. The moment we sat down, she immediately asked if we were ready to order drinks or food without giving us a chance to even look at the menus. She came back again shortly after asking for our order, and then again. We were trying to relax, talk, and enjoy the moment, but the constant pressure definitely killed the vibe. I understand that on busy days restaurants want to turn tables quickly--I've worked in the industry, so I get it. But if you don't give your guests a chance to enjoy their experience, they're less likely to come back or tip well. On the positive side, the food was amazing. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara pasta ($25.29) and it was absolutely delicious. One other thing I didn't appreciate was that the waitress upgraded the tequila in my margarita without asking me first and added an extra $2.50 to the bill. That wasn't what I expected and it should have been communicated before adding the charge. This place is located in a nice area with a beautiful view of the bridge and a nice biking path. One of the dishes was super tiny and for the price, it was disappointing. The taste was there, but the price doesn't really match what you get. Also, apparently unlimited bread sticks are still a thing but we were never offered any. We weren't sure if this still existed but it does and apparently the restaurant waits until you ask for them instead of the offering it. read more

This was an unexpected stop on our way to Long Island. This place has a Tesla high power supercharger. We were early at the restaurant wasn't busy. We wanted the food quickly and that request was taken care of. Restaurant staff were efficient. The display on the table doesn't let you order and it's a display you can use to payb your bill which was useful that we didn't have to wait for the check. read more

What can I say, these kids do great things. The staff is extremely attentive. The pasta is comparable to other Olive Gardens - salty and carby. And you won't be sad when you leave. Their food is a good value, and they seem to good with their kids menu. I don't usually eat meat so I am happy with their meatless options. read more

Unfortunately we didn't have that great of experience during our visit the previous night. Although our server Janet, was extremely friendly, warm, and tried her best to provide as best of an experience as possible, everything else fell short. During the beginning, the staff in our section were called away, and it took about 10 minutes before someone realized we were looking for service with the call server button turned on on the tablet at our table. The manager came and explained the situation, which we appreciated. Then Janet came and service was quick since then, no harm no foul. The soups were great and Janet provided us refills quickly for our soup and soda. The entrees, the main character of our visit, was underwhelming. I ordered the new spicy steak tip and shrimp cream pasta, where the steak was overcooked the first time around. Janet understandably helped me bring it back to remake it, which we were grateful for. The second time it came cooked medium rare as we preferred, but the steak was overly salty and not enjoyable. I didn't want to feel like an annoying customer who keeps sending back his food, and Janet was pretty overworked catering to multiple tables at once, so I decided to just enjoy the soup and take out the entree. One of the busboy passed by and was kind enough to bring us to to-go containers and chocolate mint, but he dropped the containers on the floor by his foot and preceded to give it to us to pack our food; I'm sure he didn't realize how unsanitary his actions were, so I asked Janet for assistance and she was definitely empathetic. Overall, the best part of dinner was Janet's continued kindness and the soups which have been consistently amazing. The entree that comes with unlimited soup or salad is such a steal! I'm giving Olive Garden 2 star because I enjoyed the food, but the service is horrific. We got to the table and got the big main menu. The Never Ending Pasta bowl promotion wasn't anywhere to be seen, but I know I want it and know a bit about it because I saw a sign while waiting for the table and watched videos. I told the waiter I want the Never Ending Pasta bowl and I ordered from the main menu; it also comes with unlimited breadstick, soup or salad. My partner got the shrimp as an added topping. When our order arrived, we asked the waiter for the Never Ending Pasta menu from the other table, so we can see what our next pasta dish will be. We tried all 4 soups and they were all delicious! I love the options of picking different pastas and sauce to go with it too. However, for our 2nd round, we didn't have any toppings on my partner's pasta, it was plain with meat sauce. The server said we can order again and will be charged again. When we initially ordered from him, we didn't know the shrimp topping wasn't an option to go with the promotion since we didn't get the menu till AFTER we ordered. He then proceeded to say, every time that we order a topping there will be a charge. Then I said "but this said 'endless' which means unlimited". He came back after speaking to the manger and was giving me the run around about having to pay again if I want another topping. My Wife and I had dinner at Olive Garden and left with an experience that was mostly fine nothing too memorable, but not disappointing either. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, with a friendly vibe. Service started off a bit slow as the dinner crowd picked up. We started with chicken and gnocchi soup and the classic house salad. The soup was creamy, warm and comforting, if slightly salty, and the salad was crisp and fresh with that signature tangy dressing. The breadsticks were, as always, the star hot, garlicky, and impossible to resist. For drinks, I had the Godfather cocktail, which had a solid kick and worked well with the meal. My wife ordered a strawberry mocktail, which turned out to be more like a strawberry smoothie surprising, but still refreshing and enjoyable. Our entrées were pretty typical Olive Garden fare. I had the Chicken Alfredo with broccoli and crispy chicken, which was very salty yet creamy and filling but a bit heavy and lacking in bold flavor. My wife got the Tour of Italy, with lasagna, chicken parmesan, and fettuccine alfredo. It was a hearty plate with variety, but none of the components really stood out flavor wise. Arianna, the floor manager. She was awesome attentive, professional, and genuinely checked in to make sure guests were served and happy. Her presence really stood out. In the end, Olive Garden delivers exactly what it promises familiar, comforting Italian-American food. I'm honestly not a huge fan of these chain restaurants because they don't taste as authentic as the real deal but this Olive Garden wasn't bad. There's not much dining options at Caesar's Bay so this was definitely a nice addition to the area. My family and I have dined during peak and off-peak hours and had a great experience both times. We dined once during Mother's Day weekend and got seated right away. The food took a while but our waitress was very attentive and made sure our food was coming and tried her best to make sure we had enough breadsticks, salad and water while we waited for our food. We had a bunch of people (hostess, waitress, and 2 managers?) come up to us to make sure everything was okay as well. I also went recently for lunch and it was pretty empty but they were very short-staffed. The waitress did her best to accommodate everyone and she worked nonstop the entire time we were there. Please be patient when you come! Olive Garden is known for their unlimited breadsticks, salad and soups and they really keep them coming throughout our entire meal! The breadsticks are very addictive and we always get extra to bring home. The salad is also very good but tend to be on the saltier side. I have yet to tried the soups yet but definitely will in the future. We always get the calamari when we come and it is very good! Very tender and goes great with the sauces! I have had the chicken and shrimp carbonara and the chicken marsala fettuccine and both were good. For a chain restaurant, definitely not bad at all. Came here before 6pm on a Friday night. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated even though there were tables available. The server came and took our orders and that was the last time we saw her until we press the button on the tablet to ask for the check. The food took awhile to come out. The plates were hot but the food was warm. Majority of the staffs are high school kids. They seem to work hard but maybe they need more training or supervision. Very dirty tables, glassware and 100 years old carpet looks like from another century, besides that their famous breadsticks became terrible, not crispy and golden delicious like before either garlic flavor, they were soft and on the bottom soaked in some kind oil, terrible. The food quality also is down even though the server talks about being delicious they are burned and covered up on the bottom and still serve, it's shame because Olive Garden use to be place where you'd like to go back, is not going to happen at this location. read more

My husband and I went here for lunch and we were very disappointed. There was no one to greet us at the front desk. After we were seated, it took a while for us to get our order. There was hardly any lettuce in the salad and the entrees we had were not good. My husband's chicken was burnt and my chicken dish was overcooked and difficult to cut and eat. They were very understaffed and it was not a good experience. When they first opened, we would go and service and the food was better. Lots of parking and seating on a Wednesday evening. Our waitress Nikki was super friendly and accommodating. We went for a birthday celebration and when I asked if Olive Garden did anything for birthdays, she directed us to the cake menu. What I expected to be complimentary (as mentioned online in their FAQ) was not. I'm not sure if she forgot to make it free or if they just don't do that at this location. We ended up paying for it. I will start that the tiramisu was super good. It was my favorite part of the meal aside from the calamari. The chicken alfredo was super heavy. The chicken started tasting like pork chop to me. On top of that we got stuffed ziti fritta, which has cheese inside and didn't help balance out the heaviness. I do recommend getting the calamari though. It helped with the flavors. The breadsticks were oily but pretty decent. The gnocchi chicken soup was okay, it came with our entree. On 12/31/2024 me and my family decided that we would eat out for dinner vice stressing and cooking during the holiday. So we ordered a family meal to include the raspberry lemonade and salad with breadsticks. Well I showed up to pick up our meal and they were running behind which is understandable. Once I get home after waiting for the food to be ready they gave us the wrong drink which was an unsweetened Tea, they never packed the salad dressing and the chicken was overcooked and dried to the point it wasn't eatable. So I decided to call the restaurant in an attempt to get the salad dressing and the correct drink we ordered and was left in hold of 15 minutes and was told they would call me back about my order but they never did. It was terrible experience for me and my family and they didn't even attempt to remedy the issue we had. Please do better with the service you provide. read more

Let me begin by stating that Olive Garden is not the sort establishment that I normally dine in. I got invited to a birthday party for somebody who is not very sophisticated. It started off surprisingly well. Fried Shrimp, Mozzarella sticks, and the house salad were very good. The pour on the drinks was generous. My Grilled Chicken entree did not work. The Chicken was tough, and the Pesto sauce was not to my liking. Cheesecake, however, was fairly good. Our server was polite and attentive. When this place opened near where we live we were pleased, but unfortunately they arent utilizing the business as they should because there's always an issue. First back in the day It was absolutely horrible. I guess they had to work out the kinks. We ordered takeout at a time where we were be both working constantly and honestly, we never got the right order. Ever! It was all over the place and then it was almost like the people wanted to put the cold disgusting breadsticks on purpose because it was a to go. We would have to go thru each thing and then wait 20 min as the food gets cold while they make something else to complete their incomplete order. When dining in it was good and when taking out they took the time to act as fools. Just a mess. It was just a big mess and a couple times we've reached out to management and they fixed it which we really respected as business owners ourselves. Then again... taking our money without giving us what we asked for is fraud so I guess they had to lol Finally, we havent eaten out much in the past year and so we cook every day. We only eat out now I would say once every three or four months unless we're on vacation and going to restaurants that are not exactly Olive Garden lol...but we still like that cozy down to earth franchise vibe once in a moon and we got a gift card from my mom for our 2 yr wedding anniversary! So we were delighted to come in the other day and behold once again, the service was horrible. However, I must admit.... this was the first time that an in person DINE IN area service was horrible usually it was just the takeout We sit at the front while clearly there was almost nobody in the restaurant, but the people at the front had no idea what they were doing and wanted to go home. Finally, we seated it ad our waiter was a nice white guy nice looking, very polite and soft-spoken. He was working on Monday around 6 PM. I forgot his name. He was so nice at the beginning we were glad to have him but then he completely forgot about us. First, he brought our appetizer to the wrong table and they almost touched it and then he brought to us which was gross but we were nice about it and we didn't even ask for a new one because they didnt fully touch it. And he brought my tour and was obviously microwave five times over to the point where the cheese on top was a disgusting brown color and a hard plastic taste. What the f is that? Then once served he never came back. He didnt as if we needed a drink refill, he didn't ask if we wanted anything else, didn't bring napkins , never asked if we needed dessert. We wanted one for anniversary but when he disappeared we remembered we had better at home. In fact he didn't even ask if we were done. We couldnt even get the check. I guess we could have walked out without paying. So after he didnt come back after 40 minutes, I just tried to pay on the kiosk, but it kept saying scan barcode and it didn't work. If Im doing all this labor myself I expect a paycheck Friday. Might as well he on payroll w the resources, guidance and self checkout I have contributed to olive Garden. He finally came and it took another 20 minutes to take our card for the bill and bring it back. It was a mess, needless to say our usual 25% tip only got like an 8% lucky that he got anything. To management you need to pay these people more. It's clear that there's no incentive to do better and that they cant handle tables even on Monday. I'm sure he wasn't joking around in the back unlike the people at takeout and the people at the front desk are obviously doing absolutely nothing. At least this guy look like he was hustling with the tables that had come in after us. And you gave him no help at all why wouldn't you schedule somebody else? The management needs to do better in this case If it hekpsbwe're business owner so we know when it's the customers fault or the employees fault and we could tell its the owners and the managers in the situation and because of your shortcoming, you had wasted our time and money read more

I placed an order for a pickup was told it would be ready by 5:41 pm, I arrived at 5:44 PM. my wife called them and told them we were outside waiting they told her they would be right out with my order at 6:03 PM. i went inside to get my order there were three people standing at the desk at the front door One greeter and 2 servers I walked over to the pickup desk where there were two people helping Customers there was one customer being helped about 5 minutes later I gave the person my receipt for the pickup, She put it in the computer, then turned around to my order was on a shelf, just waiting there she gave me the order, on my way out I stop at desk at the door and asked to speak to the manager, one of the servers went to go get the manager the server came back without the manager so i told her i would call The corporate office, on the way out the I seen two employees looking at me through a door at the pickup desk, the next Morning. I called the corporate office No mention of any accountability or talking to the employees just give me a gift card and I should forget about it. I was asked to give them a gratuity. Was surprised they honored weekday lunch specials on July 4th but I'm not complaining! Had the chicken parmigiana lunch special for $11. It's worth it with the soup and salad. Always a go to if you're craving for Italian food! We ordered: Toasted Ravioli (5/5) This was my first time ordering and it was soooo good. It was lightly fried with beef inside. My friend made a joke that this is just straight up Tostino's Pizza Rolls, hahah. Tour of Italy (5/5) This consisted of Chicken Parm, Fettucine Alfredo, and Lasagna. Haven't have Lasagna in forever and it was *chef's kiss* This also came with a choice of salad or soup and we got the gnocchi and chicken and likewise, it was superb. We dipped the breadsticks in it too! Breadsticks- we got a basket of, but it was salty, eek. We were so stuffed after this meal! I'm surprised this fed the both of us, but for ~$35, it was worth it. Solid value for families, especially with picky eaters. Service has always been attentive and prompt. Staff work very hard so tip well! Ambiance is standard for a fast casual chain but it is spacious. Noise levels can be high during busy times but not unreasonable. We went on a Saturday night, although it was busy we were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice, attentive and informative with menu options, promotions and future promotions. The breadsticks here are always salty. The food came out within 10 or so minutes, and as you may already know entrees come with unlimited garden salad or soup. We opted for the salad. We tried the zoodle dish with grilled chicken. It was delicious and tasted fresh, a mix of zucchini, squash, asparagus, red pepper, mushroom, and cherry tomatoes. We came on a Thursday night with a party of 8. We were seated right away and our waiter was very attentive. No complains with the food, and the breadsticks weren't salty this time. Don't get me wrong the food is great here but the 2 stars is really the service. I personally believe they are understaffed and nothing is worse than having to wait nearly 25-30mins after being seated to find your server and to finally get your drink orders in. Overall the food was great but it took forever to find our server so if you do plan to visit this location please anticipate a long wait to be served, get your food, and finally get your bill so you can leave. read more

OK OK, so yes, this is in the heart of Bensonhurst and it's almost blasphemous to think any real Italian food loving person would come here, but good food is good food at the end of the day right? If it taste good, I'm going, whether it's a self-proclaimed "real" Italian restaurant or the Olive Garden. Another thing is, I'm not sure why a lot of the reviewers are bashing this Olive Garden location because I have nothing but praise for the friendly service and consistent Olive Garden quality food here. The bad reviews might be attributed to when the restaurant opened, but based on my experience everything was solid. My wife and I love going to the local Italian restaurants in Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge, but it doesn't mean that we don't enjoy a good chain restaurant meal once in a blue moon. It had been a really, really long time since the both of us had been to an Olive Garden and since this one just opened up near where we live, we decided to give it a shot. Ever since it opened, the parking lot right outside this location has always been packed, so we knew that we might run into a crowd when we visit. We dropped in on a Friday evening at 7pm and, surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't fully packed yet. We walked in and were seated immediately. With that said, the restaurant is spacious and there were a lot of customers dining inside already with a wait list probably about to begin. Although service was a bit slow for us, probably due to how busy the restaurant was, our waitress was extremely friendly. In fact, as I observed the service at other tables, I noticed how cordial all of the waiters/waitresses were. As with any Olive Garden menu, we could have spent an hour just trying to decide on what we wanted to order. Since the Buy One, Take One promotion was going on, we couldn't help ourselves. We obviously wanted to order other tastier sounding and looking dishes, but we couldn't resist taking advantage of the deal, which limited us to a few pastas only. First, we started off with the "never-ending" salad/soup and breadsticks, which was what it was. Nothing fancy that is available to everyone. I ordered a few different soups, including the Zuppa Toscana and Chicken & Gnocchi and they were both decent. A slight thickness to them, but plenty of flavor as you can imagine. Next up, we had a Sampler Italiano, which we added Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, Fried Mozzarella and Fried Raviolis. To our surprise, the sampler was quite small, most notably the Fresh Mozzarella. There were only 3 pieces of mozzarella. There were 6 stuffed mushrooms and 6 raviolis, but the mozzarella was a real shocker. 3? We were a table of two people, so the least they could have done is add one more in there to make it even. We loved the mushrooms, while the mozzarella and ravioli were OK. It's fried mozzarella and ravioli, so it is what it is. Unless they stuff them with lobster would I get excited about that. Lastly, our entrees. I had the Lasagna Clasico, while my wife ordered the Creamy Garlic Tuscan Chicken. The portion sizes were decent, but by no means overwhelming. What really got us was the salad, soups and appetizer, so beware of them. The lasagna was good and tasty, but the pasta itself might have been a bit overcooked because it was too soft. As for the Creamy Garlic Tuscan Chicken, it was by far the better of the 2 dishes. It definitely had more to it, with the variety of vegetables and chicken to it. The pasta was kind of plain, but if you're looking for something that taste a bit lighter, then this dish would be it. If you're going to eat at an Olive Garden, then expectations have to be realistic. Not to insult Olive Garden in anyway, but you're at Olive Garden, not Del Posto in NYC. The bottom line is that the food was good for an Olive Garden. Everything was solid and the service was great. Minus the small sampler appetizer and overcooked lasagna, everything met our expectations. It's a solid 3.5 stars for everything it offers. read more

We had a pleasant lunch here - amazingly friendly service. The breadsticks were warm and buttery - we couldn't stop eating them. The sauces they came with were spectacular too. Most of their dishes were good, but nothing special - like the shrimp scampi and eggplant parmigiana. Can't go wrong with shrimp alfredo pasta though - alfredo sauce is addicting! read more

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Place was pretty emptied, but still had to wait to get seated. Prior to ordering wait staff brought over utensils wrapped inside the napkin, once I opened the napkin the fork still had left over chocolate on it and my sister saw oil stains on her cutlery knife. We waved down one of the server who brought us another set of utensils along with a glass of hot water. The server knew the reason for the dirty utensils and mentioned for us to dip it in the hot water to remove the stains and oils. Ordered a Fried Mozzarella, Calamari, and the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara- which was pretty tasty (shrimp was crisp and fresh). Fried Mozz wasn't bad, but the calamari was a bit dry and tough to chew. Liked their warm bread sticks and salad bowl. Overall, I liked the food here and would really want this location to stay and succeed. But the dirty utensil is a huge turnoff. read more

I hadn't been to Olive Garden in years and decided to try again, but I kind of see why I haven't been. I wouldn't even dream of trying to come here on weekends, line is out the door and always so busy, but I'm not sure why. The place has plenty of seating and is dark and cozy. Sometimes it makes me think it's dark to hide that it may not be that clean. The one plus is that service was great. From the hostess to the waiter, everyone is so pleasant and greets you with smiles. While the menu provides an array of options, most of the options were way too salty. We started with Spinach Artichoke Dip that is accompanied with flatbread chips to dip and that was really really salty although pretty good. Then we each had soup - Minestrone, Zuppa Toscana, and Pasta E Fagioli. Minestrone had too much pasta and not enough soup. Pasta E Fagioli was spicier than expected. Zuppa Toscana was probably the best one and not overly salty. For pasta, we had the Spaghetti and Meatballs, Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara, and make your own Spaghetti Cream Mushroom Sauce with Italian Sausage. Spaghetti and Meatballs was very very salty, the meatballs spongy and reminded me of cafeteria school lunch meatballs. The Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara was very salty, and heavy on the cream. The best pasta was the make your own - Spaghetti with creamy mushroom sauce and Italian Sausage. Not too salty and the sausage was pretty tasty and grilled to a nice crispy skin. Breadsticks are always good here, nice, fresh, warm and airy. The entire meal left me feeling so parched due to the high content of sodium. The menu will indicate which items are higher in sodium content, but even though that's not the option I chose, it was still tasting super salty. I may come to try the lunch endless soup and salad deal, but at this cost and taste, I may as well venture to a nice Italian restaurant which we have so many of here in this neck of woods Brooklyn. Finally, I get why this restaurant has a 3 star review. Because I also had a disappointing and awful experience. I'll never recommend this restaurant! First, I ordered at 1:24pm, checked in at 1:52pm, but got my order at 2:11pm. I spent almost one hour waiting for the food! Second, I requested for plastic forks, but they said they ran out (I got to know unless I went into the restaurant and asked). We wanted to eat it while on the road, but how are they supposed to when you don't have forks for us? Do you want us to eat with our hands?!You should at least give a warning when you're delivering the curbside pickup! Third, my coffee lid was not attached firmly enough resulting in that the coffee spilled all over my shirt! Fourth, I ordered 2 lunch meals and the size of each was completely different from each other. When I complained to the employee, she insisted that I speak to the manager, even though "the size of the meal won't change". That made me feel annoyed and helpless. This experience really sucks, and I will never recommend this location restaurant to anyone! read more
