Ordered a chicken parm with fettuccine as replacement. I received spaghetti and fettuccine. tomato sauce tasted like it was from a can. It was overly salty and very sour. Food was tasty but the Ravioli Carbonara with grilled chicken was soso. It was tasty but very oily. The chicken was tough and chewy (overcooked?). My friend had the Tour of Italy and she liked everything but the lasagna. The salad was great. The breadsticks were hard as a rock on one side, the FANTASTIC server brought out new ones to take home. We hadn't been to an Olive Garden for about 20 years, but I remembered it as being decent, so, despite all the jokes about it being so bad, we decided to give it a try. Oh dear! The calamari was pretty bad. The squid was very dry and leathery. The coating had Italian seasoning in it, which might seem like a good idea, but it completely overpowered the delicate taste of the squid. The chicken parm and the seafood alfredo were just ok. Everything needed more garlic, including the breadsticks. If you go there, you won't hate yourself--nothing actually tasted bad, except for the squid. But don't bring your friends--they'll be unimpressed. read more

Not what it used to be to be. MUCH smaller portions, and much higher prices. I had the fettuccine Alfredo, which wasn't as tasty as I expected and remember. I also had the chicken gnocchi soup. I enjoyed it, as it was tasty. I dipped my garlic sticks in it, which I also enjoy. The only downside, was the soup was definitely watered down a bit, Definitely not as "creamy" as it used to be to be. The service was good. Our experience was not up to the regular Olive Garden standard. I was craving a coffee and opted for the Cappuccino which was disastrously sweet and lacking in the coffee taste I was looking for -- I barely touched it as I couldn't stomach it. The salad was the highlight of the meal - every bit on par with the Olive Garden standard we are used to. The soup that my wife ordered was inedible (gnocchi cheese soup, I think), she had one bite and decided to stick to the salad and bread sticks. My main dish was the chicken parmigiana, the chicken was fine, however I could tell it sat on the pass line for a long time and was room temperature by the time I got it -- being hungry, I ate it. The spaghetti was far too overcooked, and after an initial sampling of the bloated noodles, I passed on finishing it. In summation, we were traveling, and weren't too hungry - otherwise we would have sent most of our dishes back, but did not have time to wait for them to be done again. Probably will not visit this particular OG again. If I could, I'd give it 2.5 stars. read more

I walked in to a deserted lobby and wasn't greeted by anyone. Then I was told that I had to "hold on" because tables had to be "figured out". I was finally asked how many in my party, which was three, and was again told to wait. Hands down the worst OG I've ever been to. We showed up at the restaurant, which had maybe 4 tables sat. Our party of 4 was told to wait 15 minutes. Okay, odd, but I understand staffing shortages. 20 minutes later we were sat. We didn't get any breadsticks, the waitress looked at us and said "oh, you want them now? They only come with the meal". First time I've heard that one. Otherwise, our server was great and the food was hot, but bland. I saw at least 6 staff members just hanging out and chatting while maybe 3 servers busted their tails to serve. When our food arrived, the person who brought it warned is the child's meal plate was "a little warm". The plate was scalding hot and was almost dropped. This is the plate they tried to put in front of a 2 year old. We asked for an extra plate and the guy tried to convince us that Olive Garden only has scalding hot plates, and that if we'd "just wait a few", the plate would cool down. He said this in a pretty condescending tone too, which is insane, since he reeked of BO and looked like he hadn't showered in days. Also, the entire restaurant was dirty. They were just sweeping the aisle dirt under each table and leaving it. This restaurant is wild. The tables around us (when they were finally allowed to sit) all had complaints as well. read more

On the way to Orlando for a family reunion we stopped by for an early dinner. The highlight of this meal was our waiter Terrel, and the reason for my four star rating.He's the bomb.com. He was very eaccommodating when we were seated without enough seats for our party of eleven people. He moved us to another section and made sure we were ok. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. It wasn't as good as other Olive Gardens. The chicken was tough. He made sure my mother enjoyed her meal and even gave us a piece of strawberry cheesecake and chocolate mousse cheesecake, with smoggy spoons for everybody to try a piece. If you're in the area and stop at this Olive Garden ask for Terrel, he's an awesome server. read more

Despite this, we had a lovely experience dining at Olive Garden, thanks to our server Joseph. Went to Olive Garden again the very next day! Had a fantastic experience this time! When we arrived the hostesses welcomed us immediately sat us down in a booth in the bar area! Our waitress was super, the food was great and the service was fantastic! I had the Spegetti with meat sauce, it was a big serving with lots of meat sauce! People tend to clown the Olive Garden because it's not authentic Italian cuisine - but that's true of any chain restaurant, right? I don't turn my nose up at chain restaurants because I like the comfort and familiarity offered by chain restaurants when traveling. Today we stopped in before hitting a few Black Friday sales - and the service was outstanding! From the friendly hostess, to Luwanna, our wonderful server - we were treated like old family friends. Jeff - a manager on loan from the Jacksonville, Florida location - stopped by our table to thank my Dad for his 20 years of military service. He was so funny and personable. There were a couple of snags with the food, but both Luwanna and Kindra took care of them quickly. They were both attentive and sweet without being pushy or intrusive. First off the hostess greeted us terribly and with disdain. We nearly left. Secondly, I cannot eat gluten. I had only 3 options These days most restaurants have SO MANY options!! The fact is, they have gluten free noodles. They should be able to accommodate any dish that's not breaded. Thus, somehow they put gluten in Everything!!! Or, idk. But can't accommodate like most restaurants I had the gluten free grilled chicken parmigiana and noodles. It was not seasoned or anything. It might have just been tomato sauce on a chicken breast. And by the way th this is the only thing on the menu to order unless you simply order the noodles, which didn't have sauce to cover and watery. I take that back, you can order salmon. Who wants salmon at a pasta place? I've already forgone the bread. You can eat the salad minus the croutons. Though, ours tonight was not those of times remembered of other Olive experiences. I used to work at this olive garden, so I understand how the business works, but that was actually the worst service I have ever had. We came in at around an hour before they closed and were expecting to be there for a half an hour to 45 minutes tops. When we got there there was only one other person dining in. Our server was Malicia and she came to take our drink orders and we never received bread. We then placed our food order and never received soup or salad with it. After she brought our food we never saw her again and had to ask the manager for the check. I asked her at the end for my salad and soup to go and only got a salad. It was not busy at all and we were her only table the service should not have been that awful.
