Great meal, my wife always orders some dirty off pasta, today was create your own pasta and I always have the bottomless soup and salad. Excellent service and very friendly. Just an observation, it doesn't look good that the waiter is sitting in the next room on his phone, checks tables and then back to the phone. Whoever was at the front seating people had to be one of the most rude people ever. We came in around 1:30 and were sat at table that was super small and my friend couldn't sit comfortably when we politely asked to move the old lady at the front told us no there was no space in an extremely rude and snobby voice like she was better then us even though we were looking at five clean available tables. I'm not saying we're entitled to what we want but you guys should have some one more respectful and kind to the front. First time I've ever had lunch at Olive Garden. I will never do that again because it was garbage. I've gone there for dinner many, many times and it's always been great. Twice they brought me out Diet Coke when I said I wanted a regular Coke. I normally awesome breadsticks were crispy on top and tasted like they were day old. Service is very subpar as well. The stars would all have to be for my service. I had an excellent server. The food was standard olive garden food. It met the requirements and I did enjoy it. The bathrooms knock the stars down. There was toilet paper all over the floor in most of the stalls, the sink area was dirty, the soap was practically out of all dispensers, and 2 out of 3 paper towel dispensers were empty. Today was my first time at an Olive Garden. I was quite impressed by the food and the atmosphere. But really why I am leaving a review is because of the nice lady that served me. Her name is Angel. Im having the worst week of my life, but she absolutely brightened my day. I went here yesterday with my new friend and the waitress we had was OUTSTANDING!! She was so friendly and polite. We ended up talking and forgot to look at the menu every-time she came by and when we apologized for not knowing what we wanted yet our waitress was so kind and friendly. I wish I remembered her name but she had beautiful short hair in braids and she was so warm and sweet. Definitely will be coming back. I love Olive Garden and find myself ordering it more often than not because it's like comfort food to me. Although I enjoy the food, the service is 40/60. 40% of the time great and 60% slowwwwwwww. My visit this week pushed me over the edge and encouraged me to leave a review. I called the restaurant and a host picked up. Once informing the host why I called, I was put on hold and told a to-go specialist will be right with me. I was on hold for 17.5 minutes..... I wanted to hang up and call back but didn't want to roll the dice on starting the timer from scratch. A to-go specialist finally picks up and asks how they can help? No apology for the wait time or how am I, they just wanted to know what I wanted. I was caught of guard and didn't know if I should bring up how long I was on hold or just get the call over with. I processed with the reason I called and the to-go specialist responded with I'll take care of it. Normally I'd be like perfect, thanks! In this situation they didn't take any of my information down & I put the order under my partners name. So I asked if they needed my information and they assured me I was good. I'm waiting to see if the resolution was in fact addressed or if I was just told it was taken care of and was just dismissed. read more

I went here last night with a group of my coworkers for dinner. It's been a long time that we've been to Olive Garden The food was pretty good and the wait staff was AMAZING. We had the following: Chianti Braised Short Ribs (it's was ok, the meat was a bit overcooked/dry not juicy, risotto a bit too much salt. Veggie seemed overcooked). Braised Beef & Tortelloni (really good, I was told my coworkers would get it again) Tender sliced short ribs and portobello mushrooms tossed with asiago-filled tortelloni in a basil-marsala sauce. Capellini di Mare (really good, didn't smell fishy, pasta was NOT aldente though, a bit overcooked for my taste). Grilled Shrimp Caprese (pretty good per my coworker, shrimps were not overcooked, pasta a bit overcooked). But the overall high rating for this place was more of our waiter Craig D. Can I tell you, we've NEVER had a wait staff being so attentive for our party of 5. He knew who got what, the timing of our drinks/salad/soups/main meals were on spot, like clockwork. He made sure our drinks/water was full, the bread was fresh and warm, salad and soup refills even without us asking for more. He made us feel like we were in a 5 star restaurant, really. My wife always sends me after work to pick up togo orders for the entire family. She wanted Olive Garden so I headed that way. She got busy with the kids and forgot to place the order. So I said what the hell I will go in and have a beer or two and hang out then place the order. I asked to see a menu after I finished my first beer so I could place togo order. I was told they don't do togo orders at the bar and I need to place it over there with the togo people. I expressed how it frustrated me to get up open another tab basically and place a togo order with a different person. Nobody cared so I closed out and left. I know it seems petty but it's the principle of the matter and the fact that I was bothered about it and nobody cared to make it right I will never be back here and any time my family ask for Olive Garden which is normally once a week it want be from my wallet. read more

Olive Garden is just one of those restaurants that everyone loves, but hates. This review is more about the hostess than the actual food, as we didn't even get the chance to eat. Let it be known that OG is awful on any weekend. There always seems to be a wait even if there are tables that you can see aren't being put to use. But it is also an absolute nightmare on ANY holiday night. We opted to use the check in online option thinking that if we checked in, shopped around, by the time our wait time was up, we would be fine. When checking in, it said there was a 30-40 minute wait. That was fine because we were out shopping. When we strolled in, it was absolutely packed in there. We walked up to the hostess to let her know we had checked in online a bit ago. Her snotty response was "Yeeeeeah, it's still going to be another hour." So I said, "Wow, really?" And this little "B," responded snidely again like "Well you can see that we're swamped." So my friend chimed in, "Yeah it told us online that the wait was 40 minuets so..." and we walked out. I doubt we'll be back. read more

First Disappointing experience. - We walked into the restaurant and decided to sit at the bar due to a long wait time for normal dining room. The hostess escorted us to the bar, but the area was not cleaned. So the hostess moved us to another section of the bar which still had soiled with left over food all over the table top. We had to asked one of the waiters if they could please clean our table. At that point, I felt like I was a problem customer. I believe the entire staff don't understand that in the restaurant business, tables must be cleaned before you sit anyone. We decided to walk out of the restaurant and eat elsewhere. It appears the staff requires training, and it probably reflects on management. If you cannot keep your tables clean, I can only imagine how contaminated the kitchen can be. We've been to Olive Gardens before and loved them. Our visit here felt like we were an imposition. Went to the bar while waiting fir our table. The bartender never acknowledged us being there. When we got to our table and placed our order (soup, salad and breadsticks) we received our meal before our drinks. We were told the bar is backlogged. Waitress never ask if we wanted more salad, soup or drinks. Instead she just brought us our check. We asked if we could have more soup and she said yes and proceeded to clear the table and then brought the soup. Never asked about dessert. Then she asked if we could complete a survey and give all "outstanding" ratings so she could win a prize. The food was good but the service was horrible. Called at 11:15 and was placed on hold. I held for 10 minutes then someone hung up on me. I called back the guy stated I had to wait again. Told me my order would be ready at 11:45 I arrived at 11:55 and I had to wait for someone to even come greet me. It took them over ten minutes. Food was good. We received 3 cold bread sticks to start followed by lukewarm soup that was blander than an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond. We received 3 more cold bread sticks which tasted like they were leftovers from the night before. Our entrees came out after 30 minutes, did I mention we were the first ones there, and I received 5 ravioli which wouldn't fill up a 10 year old. How in God's name can 80% of Wisconsinites eat here being they fall somewhere between Chris Farley and Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers' movies? I used to love Olive Garden but they've gone downhill faster than Wile E. Coyote with an Acme jetpack strapped to his back. Also the men's bathroom had no paper towels so I had to use their dollar store brand 1/2 ply toilet paper to dry my hands. I should've saved our $30, bought myself a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli and some 5 day old bread. It would have tasted far better and saved us $28. read more

Olive Garden and Darden Restaurants in particular gets a bad name but it is the few affordable restaurant for quality Italian cuisine. Unlike very few brands, Olive Garden maintains it's standard of good food and undeniable great specials. The staff at this very location is hasty, efficient and well-oiled, a seasoned experience where you can notice that most have worked with each other for quite some time. Highly recommend read more

WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had at an Olive Garden. Understandably, there are rules for how things are done during this time, and I have been following the rules better than most. My friends and I were standing in the foyer and the manager RUDELY expressed that we could not do so. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. esterday afternoon my wife and i ate at your restaurant. The waiter Angelo was very professional. We have eaten at this restaurant several times, but never asked if we didn't want something in out salad bowl, I was impressed, every time we go there i have to pick out the onions. We ordered and I asked for shrimp scampi, when it arrived, I received a chicken scampi. I didn't really care, so I said nothing. When I started eating I notice onions and green peppers on it. (Not the dreaded onion!) So I put the dish to the side and waited for Angelo to come back. Unfortunately, one of the managers stoped by our table, I say unfortunately because it did want to put Angelo on the spot. The manager was very polite, and took the plate and Angelo came back, apologized and said he'd have the correct plate to me quickly. Which he did. The manager told Angelo to not charge me for the plate, she did not have to do that. What great customer service. We really appreciated Angelo because sometimes when you go out the waiter either smothers you or is never around. Angelo had just right amount of attention to our table. We've been getting meals to go for quite a few years from this Olive Garden location and have been very pleased with the food and it's presentation. We haven't ordered from there for 6 or 7 months, but we ordered from there last night. It was terrible. The lasagna portion was substantially smaller than in the past. The salads were really bad. Huge chunks of lettuce that were inedible. Large pieces of onion. It looked like they went to someone's salad bar to get our salads rather than prepare them properly. And those little desserts are a joke. $2.99 for one spoonful. We won't be going back. read more

The food was great, however when we were waking in, the was a homeless man outside basically harassing for money. He followed us in and my friend was very nervous because he was so pushy. He sat next to us while we waited and begged us for money. There was 4 workers at the check in that assumed would step in, however they just stared! This went on for about 15 minutes and no one said anything! I could not believe that the workers would let this many be so aggressive with us when we truly had nothing to give him. I understand that homeless people need somewhere to go, that is not the problem. But to have him follow us into the restaurant and harass us, and the workers not say anything as they could tell how uncomfortable we were? Super unprofessional. read more

This review is focusing primarily on the catering services provided by Olive Garden. I have catered from OG numerous times to my work, and I have never been disappointed. For big group meals, OG is a great option. They have a huge selection of catering options so you are definitely always able to find something that will work for your group, whether 10 people or 100 people. We often order 1 or 2 pans of pasta, one of the big salads, and soup. They salad comes with their delicious bread sticks. Everyone can then choose what they want and have options. One thing I really like is that the pasta (most of them) comes with the sauce separately so people can decide for themselves how much they want. I personally don't like a lot of sauce when it's a red sauce, but do prefer it slathered on when it's a white sauce, so you can see how this is handy. Another huge benefit of OG is that I can place an order at 8:30AM and have it ready to be picked up by 11:15! That's awesome turn around and very uncommon in the catering world. I have had it delivered a few times (I usually just pick up as I am very close) and the delivery folks have always been on time, courteous and friendly. They set everything up very professionally and it looks great. And, they really are not very pricey when it comes to how much food you get! Overall, they are a great option and have helped me out many times when I was in a last minute pinch. Bonus - They allow you to order individual meals along with catering. A lot of places don't have this option. So if you have that ONE picky person who wants something different, they can choose a dinner meal and it will be no issue what so ever. read more

Absolutely will be coming back. Service was GREAT. It took 5 minutes to get us seated and our server Lindsey was AMAZING. Came for lunch with a friend. I like that they have lunch specials. Atmosphere is calm, clean, and organized. Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Food was tasty, bread sticks needed to be warmer and fresher. Salad was slightly limp and watery (possibly from being freshly washed?). I had the lobster Mac 'n' cheese and my friend ordered the pizza bowl. I absolutely do NOT feel that there was $18.99 worth of lobster on my pasta.... bathrooms were a bit messy and unkept with filthy toilet bowls. I'll go back if I have to for a friend or family member get together, otherwise not an establishment I will likely refer people to. For $18.99 I could go elsewhere and have a decent steak with all the fixings. read more

The service was excellent, we started with Lasagna Fritta(Parmesan-breaded lasagna pieces, fried and served over alfredo sauce, topped with parmesan cheese and marinara sauce) this was real good. YUMMY! The wife ordered the chicken dumpling soup. I ordered a salad. chicken dumpling soup is a traditional dish, that is very simple to prepare, and excels when done with perfection. This one was not. UGH! The dumplings were doughy tasting blobs. The soup had a off taste to it. The salad was ok. For dinner I ordered Manicotti Formaggio with Chicken(Ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan cheese and herbs, baked in pasta rolls with marinara sauce) and the wife ordered Stuffed Chicken Marsala(Oven-roasted chicken breast stuffed with Italian cheeses and sun-dried tomatoes, topped with mushrooms and a creamy marsala sauce.
