I don't know how to contact their corporate offices so I am writing this here. Last Wednesday, I took my elderly mother to dinner. She has the onset of Alzheimers and while she's mostly coherent, this is her favorite place to go. This time her dementia flared up (not mentally but physically and unexpectedly). She felt sick and grabbed a napkin. I guided her to bathroom like I did for my children when they were small, confused, and excited by their sudden need. She didn't quite make it and it was quite a mess. No one panicked. The staff grabbed mops and handled it. Shelly, the manager on duty was so incredibly kind in helping me wrap up our dinner and get my mother safely into my car. It was so chaotic, I didn't sign my credit card slip- and the tip was surely not added. I felt awful about that and tried calling the same evening to rectify the situation but no one answered. I just want to say in a world where everyone is rushed and life revolves around an electronic device- Shelly and my waitress along with the staff gave my mother her dignity by staying calm and being understanding. Our meals were wonderful and our experience was outstanding up until my mother's unfortunate event. If I could share one thing with the corporate offices- it would be to continue hiring these wonderful people and allow them to move up and train more of the like minded. Humanity is thin and this experience gave me hope. We've loved the Cheesecake Factory for so many years- so many memories here and we will continue as a family for generations to come as long as you are open we will frequent your restaurant. I came in and placed a to-go order, and when I picked it up, the food was still hot and fresh. The portions were big, as most things are on the menu. Even though it was a very busy Saturday, the server who brought my order out was quick and efficient. I didn't have to wait long at all, which I really appreciated. Came on a Wednesday evening and got seated immediately for a party of 2. Our server was Dane, he was very attentive, friendly, and playful. We ordered the calamari, four cheese pasta, and miso salmon. Everything was good! I especially enjoyed my entrée, the miso salmon. The appetizer bread was good as always. I was very happy with the experience. Calamari: 10/10 perfect crispy texture and a generous portion that I appreciated. the tartar sauce is always great and the cocktail sauce is good to change it up Miso Salmon: 9.5/10 It was amazing and rich in flavor. I prefer their appetizers over the main dishes, and the avocado egg rolls are my favorite thing on the menu. During this visit, we luckily found a 4 top in the bar area and got served quickly! We went to order a gluten-free strawberry cheesecake for my grandson's 5th birthday party, which was a children's gathering. I made it very clear that it was extremely important for the cheesecake to be gluten-free because my grandson has celiac disease and cannot eat anything containing gluten. Unfortunately, we were sold a regular cheesecake instead. After eating it, my grandson has suffered from stomach pain and inflammation that continue even today. This is a very serious situation because customers trust that they are receiving exactly what they ordered and paid for. A child's health was put at risk because of this mistake. This location is in a mall so parking is kind of a pain but I thought it would be okay because they have a curbside pickup section. Unfortunately, there are only four spaces and the location and size of the spots make it very difficult to maneuver. The woman who parked next to me had to pull in and out four different times to get her car in. The young lady who brought our food out was very friendly. I ordered my usual shepherd's pie and my husband tried the new chicken katsu bowl. The food was good overall; my shepherd's pie was a little more oily than usual and the chicken katsu was a little dry but still both good. I also got my usual cheesecake which the white chocolate raspberry truffle but my husband decided to try the triple berry. This was our first time trying this particular one and I think I like it even better than my favorite. The cake layer makes it fluffier and even more delicious and the flavors are sublime. Well, they have a huge menu if you can't find something on that that you'd like that's on you. With that said, I don't think that they execute on all the items on your menu equally. We've gone there for dinners. Those have always been pretty good this time we went for breakfast and tried their brunch and I was very very not impressed. This location is always quality! The food is tasty and is just like other cheesecake factories. Their ranch dressing, though, steals the show! It is unlike other ranches as it seems to taste of garlic and perhaps sour cream or something that makes it delightfully unique. The service is always good: efficient and friendly. It is always a good experience at The Cheesecake Factory. It always takes a few minutes to decide what I'm really in the mood for. The menu is a literal book. Several pages. But the food is good. I had the blackened salmon this Valentine's Day. It was good, the salmon was cooked perfectly and was moist. Of course, their mashed potatoes are always a hit. My wife had a gigantic Thai salad that she enjoyed. All portions here are large. My server was attentive and friendly. The decor of Cheesecake Factory's are intriguing, sort of this Egyptian style of thing. But the tables and booths are comfortable. Busy, busy night. We got on the waitlist and it was already an hour and 20 minute wait. We missed our text that our table was ready. (Pro tip: Ask them what the phone number will be and put it in your contacts.) Ironically, I find their cheesecakes to be only so-so. I don't know. Oh well. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Not a place to go if your party is larger than 6 people - PERIOD. Just don't even try, trust me. Called well ahead of time would not accept a reservation for 14 people. Ok, so we all go there and wait, are told the wait is 1.5 hours on a Tuesday night. After 1.5 hours told 12 minutes. Time goes by, then told 20 more minutes. Then we start to get irate and the first apparent effort to find a table is made. Point to drive home: THIS WAS A TUESDAY NIGHT! Any busy time would be far worse! We are finally seated after 2 hours it was busy but not enough to justify the wait. All the smaller parties were nearly immediately seated while we waited. Our server was very good (5 stars) the main reason this not a two star review. She graciously handled our large party with 0 errors. The place was cold where they seated us with several in the party complaining and two going to the car for blankets. The food was decent but it was apparent my dish was prepared as one of the first as it was cold when brought out which made it less appealing, potatoes were too salty. The soup brought earlier was very good. Most at the table enjoyed the food once we finally received it. Price was on the higher end but honestly would not even be as much an issue if wasn't annoyed by the other things. Most of the negative reviews are also with large groups. Our birthday celebrations tend to be larger with groups of 8 to 16 people and these are mostly adults not kids. I can tell you with certainty that this restaurant will not even be a consideration for future events as they clearly cannot handle that party size even though they have exceptional servers that can and we tipped well to show our appreciation. My suggestion to management: it is completely clear to me now that you do not want large parties. The person at the front seemed more annoyed than helpful. (No apologies, no reassurances, no contact) if I could Un-tip the establishment or manager I certainly would and would give you 0 stars. Just TELL people up front that you don't accept parties larger than 6 so you don't have all the angry reviews. Suggestions to patrons: This was a freaking Tuesday night where smaller parties were just walking in and being seated, it's not going to get better than what we experienced. We LOVE Cheesecake Factory and it's always been one of our favorites. It makes me sad to even leave a review like this. We have never had a problem with this restaurant before in general. We went to this location a few weeks ago during the last football game before the super bowl and it was slammed. They had a 3 hr wait time which was a huge turn off. We ended up walking out that night and not eating there. We did talked to the hosts though when we were there and they said they recommend doing reservations ahead of time. Well we went to do reservations this last week and they only reserve up to a group of 7 total and our party was 8 people if you count an infant who won't eat anything. Got a table pretty quickly despite how crowded it was at 12 on a Tuesday. Waitress was very nice. My kids and I ordered and the food took awhile, which makes sense. When my pasta was handed to me I said "this is gluten free, right?" And the person said no it's not, I don't know what happened." So my kids had food and I didn't which is fine, at least I didn't eat gluten. Then my waitress came out and apologized and said it was in her notes and everything. Don't have any motivation to come back. Much different than our last visit a few months ago. Service was so so until the shift change then it got better. I ordered the truffle honey chicken and it had zero truffle flavor compared to the last time I had it. Portion size was very disappointing as well compared to last time. I will start off by saying that I am not from Utah. I am visiting for the first time with that said I stopped in here two days ago and ate during the server didn't get us. Our drinks until 30 minutes had passed. I asked two servers who server and they both shrugged at me. The food came out. I had to put a dash of salt and was heavy on the pepper. Also ordered the Miso Salmon. My partner liked it but me, not so much. The rice was a little hard/al dente so it either wasn't cooked all the way or was old. The salmon was cook perfectly. Took two slices of cheesecake to go. Haven't tried them yet but got the Key Lime and Fresh Strawberry cheesecake.
